Euchorite was out late at night. She was walking around. Being still new to the city she still gets lost from time to time.

As she turned down a dimly lit alleyway, Euchorite felt a shiver run down her spine. The tall buildings loomed over her like ancient giants, casting eerie shadows that seemed to dance in the darkness. She quickened her pace, the sound of her own footsteps echoing off the walls around her.

She walks deeper into the alleyway to find a dice on the ground.

The dice glinted in the faint light, its surface smooth and cool to the touch. Euchorite bent down to pick it up, a sense of curiosity overcoming her unease. As she held the dice in her hand, she noticed intricate symbols etched into each side, glowing softly as if imbued with a mysterious energy.

Without thinking, Euchorite rolled the dice on the ground. It spun, the symbols blurring together before coming to a stop with a soft click.

She was then transformed into a different world. In front of her on the floor was a gameboard.

She found herself stuck in the gameboard and couldn’t leave it. It was like an invisible barrier around it.

As she tried to step back, Euchorite realized she was indeed trapped within the confines of the gameboard. Panic welled up inside her, but she forced herself to stay calm. There had to be a way out, a solution to this bizarre predicament.

She glanced down at the dice in her hand, its symbols now pulsating with an otherworldly glow. With a flicker of determination in her eyes, Euchorite took a deep breath and rolled the dice once more, hoping against hope that it would somehow free her from this surreal imprisonment.

The dice rolled on 5. She moved to the space on the board. She wears a dog barks, fierce and frightening.

The dog sounded angry. It also sounded like it was approaching her.

Euchorite's heart pounded in her chest as the sound of the dog's barking grew louder, sending a chill down her spine. She frantically looked around, searching for any sign of the animal, but all she could see were the painted squares of the gameboard surrounding her.

As the barking drew closer, Euchorite realized she had to think fast. With trembling hands, she rolled the dice again, desperate for a chance to escape this perilous situation. The dice tumbled and landed on a different number this time.

Moving 2 spaces on the board she puts her hand over her ears. High shrill, high pierced noises that are disorienting and confusing. She was starting to feel dizzy.

The cacophony of shrill, piercing noises assaulted Euchorite's senses, causing her head to spin and her vision to blur. She stumbled, almost losing her balance as the disorienting sound reverberated through her very being. Panic gripped her once more, but she fought against it with all her willpower.

Forced to think quickly in the midst of the chaos, Euchorite closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to focus despite the overwhelming noise. With a shaky hand, she rolled the dice again, praying for a stroke of luck that would bring her closer to freedom.

At first, the square is quiet. Nothing seems amiss. It seemed safe. Euchorite was going to let her guard down when she heard the patter of tiny feet approaching. There was no light to see them, but there’s a reflection in their beady eyes. It took her a while to put together what they were. Rats.

Euchorite's heart sank as she heard the unmistakable sound of tiny feet scurrying towards her. The reflection of beady eyes in the darkness sent a shiver down her spine, knowing that she was now faced with a horde of rats in this strange and twisted gameboard.

Fear threatened to overwhelm her, but Euchorite forced herself to stay calm. She had come too far to give up now. Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, she mustered her courage and rolled the dice once more, the symbols on its surface glowing faintly in the dim light.

On the next space she hears something howling in the distance. She can hear the howling on either side of her. Yellow eyes staring her down. Whatever it is there seems to be more than one.

Euchorite's breath caught in her throat as the haunting howls echoed through the darkened expanse around her. The yellow eyes staring her down sent a shiver of dread down her spine, and she knew that whatever lurked in the shadows was not something to be taken lightly.

With a steely resolve, Euchorite rolled the dice once again, her hands trembling slightly as she prayed for a fortunate outcome that would lead her closer to escape.

Her last roll seemed to be the last roll. She was basked in a glow light and found herself back home. Finally. She was home. She looked into her hands and found the dice still in her hands. But this time they look regular like the whatever magic they had in them was no more.

Euchorite breathed a sigh of relief as she found herself back in the familiarity of her own home. The harrowing experience in the gameboard felt like a distant nightmare now, yet the memory still lingered vividly in her mind. She gazed down at the dice in her hand, seeing that they had returned to their ordinary state, devoid of any magical glow or mysterious symbols.
