I just wanted you to be my brother...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

I was listenin' to the ocean
I saw a face in the sand
But when I picked it up
Then it vanished away from my hands, dah

I had a dream, I was seven
Climbin' my way in a tree
I saw a piece of Heaven
Waitin' in patience for me, dah

But no, take me home
Take me home where I belong

But I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall
And I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall

Micha'el felt his foot hit the ground and felt a wave of relief moved up his body. He regained his vision just as quickly as he had lost it, and quickly looked around to take in his surroundings. They were in an entirely different place, one that had a sky above them, obstructed by a few leathery canopies that clung to the side of medieval looking buildings. Heavy rain was falling all around them, hitting the ground nearby and forming shallow puddles across the blocky pavement. lightning cracked and thunder struck as Micha'el turned round to come face to face with a middle-aged man staring at them in bemusement. He looked rough, perhaps he was younger than he looked under his scruffy bear and sodden leather cap. He appeared human. "YOU NEARLY KNOCKED ME OFF MY FEET!" he shouted, raising an angry fist into the air as black smoke engulfed him and dissipated, revealing a werewolf form, fitted with leather clothes that was able to withstand the transformation. "Bloody vampire sending anyone who begs for it through this damned portal. Get out of here, you blighters" the Therian's voice had become much deeper after his transformation, and a wonky jaw of teeth growled at Team Sun until they ran from the canopy and out into the wet street.

"Well" Lottie said, "I'll guess this is Southmarch." The alley was long and wide, paved perfectly from one end to the other. Merchants set up shop in the lower rooms of buildings on either side, lit up with an orange glow from various lanterns. Canopies hung over the entrance to some shops, whilst others drowned in the never-ending storm. Various signs and lanterns hung from above, giving a subtle glow to the street whilst a fog loomed high above the roofs of the tall but narrow buildings. Lottie couldn't help but feel a sense of subtle quality here. Though understated, it had a much more welcoming feel to it than the previous Greymarket. That was until someone barged passed them, cursing at them with a well-pronounced accent. "Still the same types of people though" she sulked, looking down at her wet skirt before gazing up at Micha'el, who had already accepted his fate. "Here" he said, whipping off his coat to lay it over her shoulders. She was so short that it barely kept off the ground, but did the job. Various people were moving about the greymarket, some looked more distinguished than others. "What were you thinking?" Micha'el suddenly said, glaring at Tsuna, "we had money - I had money. The guy wasn't going to rip us off until you tried to one-up him in his own shop! And Malika - now we're gonna be hunted down by two people from the Playground!" Micha'el ran a tense hand through his hair, letting out a heavy sigh as he said "they won't even do it themselves."
"Micha'el..." Lottie attempted to reach for him, but he pulled away, scowling. "No! I'm leading us out of this place to find somewhere dry before anyone in this market joins the queue." Micha'el began to march away, not caring whether he was followed or not - but he knew that Lottie would come. She looked to Tsuna, worried she might also leave. Her eyes pleaded with her teammate, don't go. "It's not your fault" she said, knowing that something was bothering Micha'el, "if... if you leave... he won't apologise. I don't want our team to fall apart again."

I was painting a picture
The picture was a painting of you
And for a moment I thought you were here
But then again, it wasn't true, dah

And all this time I have been lyin'
Oh, lyin' in secret to myself
I've been putting sorrow on the farthest place on my shelf

Tsuna Miki

Tsuna slipped out of the portal just as quickly as Micha'el did, nearly dropping Lottie in the process. She placed her down gently and was able to take in the new surrounds before being interrupted. The sky above was cast in rainy, bleak weather dripped through the leather canopies that clung to the side of a medieval buildings. Lightening crackled around them and the dense rain created shallow puddles in between the blocky stone payment. They were just about to leave when they ran into a middle-aged man with a scruffy beard and sodden leather cap. He berated them for almost knocking him over and raised his fist into the air mincingly. Black smoke engulfed him and he transformed into his werewolf form dressed in leather clothing that was able to withhold the transformation. He cursed Accart for sending people through the portal willy-nilly and chased the team off with his intensive shouting.

Lottie assumed they were in Southmarch and she was correct seeing the horrendous weather and ancient architecture. The alley they were in was long with shops set up on either side and lanterns omitting an orange hue lit their way. Some shops were covered by a leather canopy, while others had to fight the natural elements. There was signs every where along the path so eventually they'd find their way to somewhere dry. It seemed more accessible than the Playground, but the same kind of rift-raft sulked around as one passerby barged past them. Lottie was saddened by the state of her wet clothes and of course, Micha'el being the gentleman that he is, offered her his coat. It swaddled her due to her being so short and Tsuna was about to smile when Micha'el unleased his anger on her. He asked what she was thinking, to which she wasn't, as simple as that sounded. He then blamed her for being rash over funds they clearly had and now they were in more danger than ever thanks to her actions. "Micha'el, I..." before she could defend her, Lottie stepped in as a peacemaker once more. She tried to calm him only to be rejected as he stormed away looking for a place for them to stay. Lottie turned to her begging for her not to leave insisting that the team will fall apart at this rate. Tsuna signed and took Lottie's hand leading her behind Micha'el as they followed him onward. "Thanks Lottie, but it is my fault we're in this mess. Don't worry, I'll talk to him once we're safe."

It didn't take long to locate an inn just on the edge of the Greymarket. There was nothing particularly fancy about it, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting. A fireplace made of stone was in the center of the lobby and the furniture around was made of a dark reddish oak. It smelled like the forest which was reasonable considering that's what most of the interior was made from. They requested a room and headed up starts silently until they made it into their unit which housed three beds and a bathroom. There was a shower and Tsuna gestured for Lottie to occupy the bathroom first which would give her and Micha'el a chance to hash things out. She waited until she heard the water running before going over to Micha'el and staring him dead in the eyes. "Tell me something, you honestly believe Accart or Malika would have treated us fairly if we played by the rules? You practically grew up there from how I hear it. Show me they real you, now." She stood there and waited for whatever outburst or reaction he had to give her.

Lottie couldn't help but let out a small, relieved gasp when Tsuna took her hand. She isn't leaving she thought, overcome with a mellow joy. "I'm glad" she said, smiling softly as she moved forward with Tsuna to follow Micha'el.

It wasn't long until Micha'el had taken them into an inn located at the very end of the greymarket, it was typical of any inn you might have read about in story books, though this place was quite well put together. Together they got a room, and Micha'el didn't speak the entire time until Tsuna had cornered him alone in their room as Lottie began to take a warm shower. Micha'el had placed himself on a seat beside a small table at the rooms window, overlooking the Greymarket beneath them. He didn't make eye-contact with Tsuna as she approached, nor did he respond immediately. She wasn't wrong, nor did he feel she was completely right. He clenched his jaw, which then turned into pursing his lips together as anger turned into an altogether different emotion. Sorrow. His tightened fist trembled and reluctantly showed some anxiety as he hid his hand beneath the table. He took in a breath as a single tear fell down his cheek, still looking out the window. "I..." he voice cracked, "I visited The Playground a lot... as a kid." Micha'el let out another shaky breath, tapping his leg as a distraction from the bottle up emotions. "My brother used to bring me there - buy me gifts... show me around and we'd meet a lot of people. it was so exciting. Malika wasn't talking about me, earlier. It was him. I was just a third-wheel to his scheme to barter a good deal for power with anyone that he could. When he eventually turned against the Guildeam, it destroyed my mum... she - she would..." Micha'el's lips curled as a whimper escaped him, "I watched her become a husk of a person. They would fight, a drink here became a drink there. No dinner tonight, an extra drink before bed. I thought she would start to get better when Zoltan left us... then she took me to the Playground herself... began dreamweaving to forget and make-believe. Instead of day-drinking and nightly dru-... she began forgetting. She was so scared of my brother that she would rather forget the precious memories, so she could replace the bad ones with good dreams - just so she could survive. And then when my brother vanished she forgot all about the greymarket. It was as if the universe forgot who he was and suddenly my mum was back for the first time in a very, very long time. But she would recall things... things that she enjoyed with us both, as if it was just me. You saw it earlier, Malika remembered what she did with my brother, but she thought it was me. I don't know what happened to him, I don't really care. But do you know how difficult it is to live my life in a world that isn't the one I remember? I thought going back would be okay, that life is over - but apparently im too weak to move on like everyone else evidently has." He finally turned to face Tsuna, tears welling in his eyes.

"Why did Zoltan vanish, Tsuna? Why don't I get to forget, too?"

Tsuna Miki

Tsuna was expecting malice or fear, but what she got was an unfathomable sadness that she could hardly comprehend. A tear glided down onto his ebony cheeks as he looked out the window spinning her his tale of woe. He exclaimed how much he visited the ground as a child, the anxiety building up in his mannerisms was proof of that fact as his leg tapped impatiently as the memories spilled out. This entire time, when Malika was teasing him in the Playground, she was actually referring to his brother that would bring him their for "gifts" while bartering for power. The tactic of using your kid brother as an innocent ruse to gain power was beyond despicable. Eventually, his brother turns against the Guildem which broke their mother causing her to convert into a drunkard that fought with her eldest. In order to combat the sadness and fear that Zoltan left behind, she began taking Micha'el to the Playground herself. She escaped by Malika's dreamweaving replacing bad memories with good ones and forgetting about her first son. When Zoltan vanished completely, she forgot about the Greymarket or even that fact that she had two sons to being with. The universe feel under the same illusion, this was evident to her when he described how Malika was confusing him for Zoltan this entire time. He exclaimed how he doesn't care about Zoltan's whereabouts, but he's tried of living a life that everyone else remembers that isn't his. Going back to the Playground dug up all those awful memories and he couldn't understand why his brother vanished and why he couldn't forget him like everyone else.

Tears welled up in his eyes as he turned to her looking for answers and confront. Tsuna gently, almost motherly, placed both hands on his cheeks and wiped away whatever tears fell with her thumb. "I'm glad I'm talking to you right now and not your brother. Maybe you'll never forget him because you're you. Sweet, wonderful, stronger, emotional, charismatic Micha'el. Our Micha'el, Team Suns. He could never replace you even if he tried. I can't rewrite your childhood, or spin a dream of deception, but what I can give you is a future. A future to take Zoltan down and avenge the younger you." She pulled him up for his chair and into an embrace so heartwarming. His wet clothes made it feel like he was going to turn into water that would escape her grasp if she let go so she held on. She would hold for as long as he needed her too.

Micha'el let Tsuna hold his face, it was almost a motherly touch. He was actually surprised that Tsuna of all people made such a gesture but he didn't give it further thought as she reassured him that she was happy to have him here, and not his brother. Micha'el's tears fell but she was sure to wipe them away, and with it a small weight on his chest too. He was relieved to know that he wasn't just becoming a strange blur of his brother. Her pep talk helped him to control his crying for a few moments, and her last comment made him pause. Avenge? he asked himself. He hadn't quite thought of it like that, and from an outsiders perspective... why wouldn't he want revenge? But he's my big brother he told himself, quickly choosing not to defend Zoltan out loud. As she pulled him in for an embrace he held her back tightly, appreciating every moment. He let it continue for a minute or two, just resting his head into her shoulder as his wimpering began to finally subside. Then, as he pulled away, Micha'el smile slightly. He then wiped a tear from his cheek before locking eyes with Tsuna. "Do you... think that he could still be out there? Do you think he made everyone forget him? Is it bad I don't want the world to remember him? Mum - she's so happy now..."

Tsuna Miki

Micha'el held her just as tightly back before his cries subsided and he regained himself enough to look at her. He had so many questions that she couldn't answer and clearly his mother's delusional happiness was at the front of his mind. Tsuna shook her head and relayed her option as honestly as she could. "If he is still alive...we'll confront him together when it comes down to it. As for memories, I don't know the extent of his power...but all power has a weakness. You're proof of that because you remember him while no one else does. Your feelings are valid. I don't know him personally and from what you told me, frankly I don't want to know him." She paused knowing that bringing up his mother is a sensitive subject and considered her words carefully. "I don't think anyone would be happy living in a fantasy Micha'el...I know I wouldn't." She stopped herself before she delved further as her nose suddenly caught a familiar scent. Her head tilted in confusion as she sniffed around before her sights landed on Micha'el again. "That's odd...you smell like?" She shook her head and without thinking blurted out his name. "Lea Matzo Sun?"

Before Micha'el could even question her or be concerned as to why that man's name resurfaced from Tsuna's memories, especially after how much she detested the man, she corrected herself. "It must be the rain. Sometimes it scatters scents around and some of his scent might still be on my and transferred to you. Anyway, its nothing to worry about, random scents pledge me all the time." She laughed it off and turned walking towards the door giving some last bit of advice to her teammate. "Don't worry to much about it. Take a shower and ease your mind as soon as Lottie gets out. You'll catch a cold in those wet clothes. I'm going to get some food for us!" She shouted back as she closed the door and headed down stairs. Compared to the two of them, her suit and jacket were practically water repellant due to a few upgrades that were made when she returned from Skyfall. Her tail, ears, and hair were wet, but she wasn't freezing or soaked to the bone so she'd be fine for another excursion in the rain. Stepping out of the inn, she shield her ears and hair with her hood and walked back towards the Greymarket looking for a food stand.

Micha'el nodded to her teammate, rubbing his eyes on his damp sleeve when Tsuna idly muttered a name he didn't recognise. "Lea?" he asked, dumbfounded after she said he smelled like that person. "Right" he said in reply to her remark about scents and the rain. He wasn't going to go into it any further, who was he to question the nose of a Therian? She then gave him some advise before leaving to find them food, which he was eager to follow. After Tsuna left, Micha'el waited for Lottie to emerge from the bathroom, where she skipped across the cold wooden floor and onto the rug to warm her bare feet. she'd brought a basic cream tunic and crimson pleated skirt with her as spare clothes. She locked eyes with Micha'el and noticed his face looked puffy. "Hey" she said, raising a brow, "did... you two fight?"
"No" Micha'el said, giving a small smile, "we're good." Lottie's eyes shun as she pulled a small smile too, "It's uh... free in the shower now. You should warm up and dry off." Micha'el nodded.

The Greymarket outside was still wet, the heavy rain had turned into a light, dampening drizzle. The people of the market didn't care however, continuing on with their trades. This place was certainly more cosy than the other Greymarket, and it was obviously smaller. However it was still by no means any less shady. But it would entirely depend on who you were. For many, these places were the only place to get essentials. Perhaps rules were less strict in Therias. It was a recently renewed kingdom after all. There were a few small vendors selling food items, mostly unrecognisable snacks or ingredients, but there was some recognisable Therian food. Mostly smoked meats and broths. The meat was apparently paired with complimenting fruits. Therians had a good tongue for taste apparently.

Micha'el felt much better after his shower, it actually felt like he had washed away much of his worry with it. He was actually surprised that the Therians had such good plumbing systems already, considering their city was an abandoned, medieval wreck only a few years ago. He'd pulled on some lounge trousers, they were a blue tartan pattern, and left the bathroom whilst drying his head off with a towel. As he stepped into the room he'd completely forgotten he wasn't alone until he pulled down the towel and crossed eyes with Lottie, who had to break from her stare. "Uh, good... shower, huh? I mean the water is much warmer than I expected" she scratched her head, looking out the window wondering if she could see Tsuna from anywhere up here. Micha'el narrowed his eyes and wondered what made Lottie so awkward all of a sudden. Shirt! Micha'el stumbled, holding up the towel over his bare chest, "sorry!" Micha'el muttered, fumbling for his bag to find his white shirt. "No, no! Nothing I haven't seen before" Lottie said, widening her eyes. "No! I mean, not that I look!"
"No, I never said-" Micha'el failed to find the correct hole for his arm.
"Not that I wouldn't want to - you're strong!"
"Strong?!" Micha'el asked, elbow stuck in a sleeve as he turned and bashed it against the wall with a curse under his breath.
"Yeah! Uh - from all the training! Not that's its obvious-"
"Thank you?!" Micha'el said again, stepping into the bed and flopping down face first. "Please help me" he finally resigned, to which Lottie, bit her lips together and finally came round to help. With a chuckle she twisted his shirt round for him so that he could finally pull his head through with his remaining arm. He opened his eyes to find Lottie standing before him, a little taller than he as he sat. "Thank... you" he said slowly, feeling a thump in his chest. The two shared a silent moment, staring at one another. Lottie then smiled, quickly stepping away and said "the smartest one here and you can't even get a shirt on."
"You can't wear trousers" he said, watching her walk away. She gasped, "skirts are far superior when it comes to fighting monsters."

Tsuna Miki

The heavy rain turned into a light drizzle which effected no one as they continued about their day as normal. This Greymarket was definitely smaller than the Playground, but it was in no means lax especially involving crime. It seems a lot of people did their shopping here, most of them were her kind so perhaps the rules were bent. Some of the small stands sold imported goods, a lot of foods she didn't recognize, but when it came to Therian cuisine her nose sniffed it out right away. The meats and broths made her mouth water and the fruit paired with it looks so appetizing! The next thing Tsuna knew she had a basket of food and was practically skipping back to the inn. She was coming up to the door of the inn when she heard a flock of crows cawing overhead. She looked over to see a hoard of crows circling a canopy in the forest not far from the inn.

Tsuna stared at the flock for some time almost entranced by them and wondered what they were circling. Curiosity must have trapped her because the next thing she knew she was dropping off the food at the desk and heading into the forest. Tsuna got lost in the tree and breathed in the forest air, it was like saying hello to an old friend.

Micha'el and Lottie waited in their shared room for some time, talking through potential plans for this adventure and what obstacles they might face. When a knock came to the door they wondered why Tsuna was being formal, however when they were greeted by a well-dressed gentleman with a thick beard they quickly understood why. The basket of fresh food had been left for them, and instantly Micha'el sighed, knowing Tsuna must've left it whilst running off somewhere. "Thank you" Lottie said, taking the basket as the gentleman went on his way. Before she could even shut the door Micha'el was already taking up his damp coat from its hanging place and cursing under his breath. "How nice of her to drop the food off" he said with an empty tone. "She's not running, something must've caught her attention, Micha'el" Lottie said sternly, placing the food on the table by the window. Micha'el spun on his heat and summoned the Aria from his necklace, it unfolded from a small cube into the full tome. Lottie rolled her eyes at him, looking for the spare cloak she had brought with her in case she needed to be discreet. Now it would have to suffice to keep the light drizzle off her instead. Micha'el flicked through the pages of his Aria, its silver edges gleaming as they split to reveal pure white parchment lined with silver, gold and grey scripts. It hovered in place as he reached down to tear off a piece of of the thin cloth used to wrap some of the goods in the basket, and then tossed it over the Aria where it dissolved. "She should be close, so I can track her" he said, stopping the flicking pages on one particular chapter. He made some gestures with his hand and summoned a white ring around his body, then he clapped the aria shut, commanding the ring to levitate up and shrink just enough to hover around his head like a compass. It wasn't small enough to touch his forehead however. After a moment, a dull white light shun in one corner of the circle. They had their bearing.

As Tsuna left the Greymarket, and outside of the city walls, she found herself at a dense wood. The midday sun, already struggling to force it's light through thick clouds, was unable to get through the forest's canopy. Grey light barely let up the area, giving it an ominous atmosphere that only made the damp air feel stickier. The circling birds above were nosediving through the canopy to sweep beneath the trees and have a go at something in the centre of a clearing. A bear carcass could be seen among it, with the birds tearing away flesh with each dive. But as Tsuna neared it became obvious these were just birds. A couple of them landed, coming to run across the dull grass on their four paws a few feet before coming to a stop. They were like small canines, the size of a small child, with black fur that was longer and messier along their spine, becoming a flurry of black feathers at the neck to cover their avian head, covered in 10 piercing red eyes. The two that found Tsuna let out a growling caw, like a demonic mixture of beast and shrill hawk.

It alerted the others.

Tsuna Miki

The woods grew denser as the midday sun attempted to peak through the thick clouds over head. The atmosphere was sticky, almost smothering as she continued her trek closer to the bird's prey. The smell of a fresh kill hit her nose and in the clearing she could see the aviaries nosediving onto a bare carcass. The bear became less recognizable as the birds tore away at it with each passing swoop. These birds however, were abnormal as they landed on the dull grass running on all fours. The small cranes were the size of a toddler with black messy fur along the spine that transformed into feathers up the neck covering the head. Two had all ten of the red piercing eyes set on Tsuna as they unleased a mixture of a growl and caw. The demonic mixture of both noises causing Tsuna's fur to stand on edge as her tail puffed out in fear. They alerted the others and now Tsuna had a fight on her hands she didn't ask for. Baring her fangs, she grabbed her weapon and threw it into the air watching it unfold and transform mid flight. She raised one hand up catching it effortlessly as the birds began to swarm her.

Some ran at her while others circled around her in jagged flight patterns that confused prey until they could close in for the kill. Swinging her hammer around fluently, as if it weighed nothing at all, she was able to knock a few out of the sky. Ones that leaped for her were sliced in two or had an appendaged severed as she changed from axe to hammer. Although she took down a good number, it hardly made a dent as the bird's reinforcements joined. Their shrills began turning into auditable voices, ones that she knew, like they had been recorded. Amongst the chaos, her wolf ears honed in on the voices of Ivan and Maverly. Maverly was calling Ivan and vice versa as the two sounded like they were being attacked by the same creatures. Ivan's screams were the most prominent indicating that these monster's wounded him and that's how he ended up in the state he's in now. The voices of pain and suffering were overbearing as Tsuna began losing her edge and swinging blindly. "STOP!!! SHUT UP!!!" She screamed but her own voice was drowned out by the growling caws and torturous recordings. In an attempt to escape she tired to grab for the cigarettes in her pocket while still fighting off the birds with her weapon in her other. Sadly, she fumbled though and the packet fell to the ground where the birds chucked it out of reach in the scuffle. Tsuna had to make an opening for herself and call for her help hoping that her teammates will see the signal. Swinging her hammer around in a circle, the birds backed off just enough for her to place her hammer upside down with the pole upwards. Heating it up, she used the cannon on the end to shoot off a orange flare that flickered like the sun. It shoot up past the birds, taking one of them out along the way, and into the canopy above. It disappeared from her line of sight just before the birds ambushed her once more.

((New layout/lyrics for Lottie!))

Lottie and Micha'el wasted no time in tracking down their teammate. Micha'el took the lead, following the 'halo' compass he created to track her. It lead them out from the Greymarket, through some of the unknown Southmarch city streets and out into the forest that situated the edge of the city's walls and beyond. Lottie was glad that the rain had turned to a light drizzle, meaning that her cloak was doing a good job at keeping the dampness away from her freshly washed skin. She couldn't help but wonder how uncomfortable Micha'el must feel beneath his wet coat, the tunic beneath must be damp by now. She followed him out into a path within the woods. she noticed the sound of birds cawing loudly in the distance, some circling above. "The birds here don't sounds right" she commented, looking towards her teammate who was marching onwards. He's still mad she thought, clenching her jaw. But before she could say anything he stopped in his tracks, causing her to walk into his backside. "Stop" he softly said, "demons." Lottie suddenly gripped her glaive, Willow Morta, more tightly. Her teammate flooded her mind as she realised that she may be in danger. "Tsuna" Lottie said. Micha'el agreed and looked ahead, suddenly hearing the distinct sound of something igniting, and then saw an ominous orange glow climbing up above through the trees. Lottie's eyes widened, there was no doubt this was Tsuna's emergency flare. Micha'els halo faded from existence and without a moment to lose they dashed forwards, running as fast as possible towards Tsuna's location.

The demonic creatures circled Tsuna from a short distance, momentarily frightened by the bright light of her flare. Every now and then one of them would lunge forwards and make a false attack against her until slowly more and more gathered, some swooping by from above only to be taken down by her swings. After a few more, a few of the grounded demons finally took their chance to attack. As two demons swooped from high above, three on the ground run around and suddenly turned to lunge towards her, zig-zagging at odd angles to throw her off. It seemed they may finally be able to take her down. And just as Tsuna lifted her weapon to defend herself, two figures launched into the fray from behind her. Lottie, with her small, elegant frame came dashing down into the ground in front of Tsuna, burying her glaive into the body of the first demon on the ground. It let out a dying shriek as it became pinned down. Then, a line of spectral, broken blades came down one after another in a line ahead of her, taking out another demon whilst the third dodged. Meanwhile, Micha'el soared in too. As he landed he had conjured pure white chains of light that grappled the two flying creatures and pulled them down to the ground with a mighty slam. He looked up to notice one of the demons dodging Lottie's attack and heading straight for her. As she recovered, he cast his magic to pull her back a few feet, where she pulled back her glaive and prepared to strike as it lunged towards her. Two spectral glaives lined up ahead of her towards her target. A spectral form of herself then rushed forwards two times, like a premonition of her next attack. She finally followed and with the grace of a great musketeer she thrust her glaive into the beast. "Tsuna!" she shouted, jumped back to stand strong with her teammate. Micha'el soon followed, joining at her side with a serious look over him, but he looked forward towards the enemy. "Shall we?" he said, holding out his arm as the Aria moved to float behind him. Light condensed in his fist and from it conjured a twin-sword made of light.

Tsuna Miki

The demons played with her making false attacks in the air distracting her from the threat on the ground. They took their chance by swooping down once more as the ones on the ground zig-zagged around her. Tsuna couldn't keep up with the unpredictable moments and was forced to defend herself when one of them lunged for her. Suddenly, two figures emerged from the tree, and Lottie's petite frame elegantly shielded her. She stabbed the demon and it died with a shriek as a line of spectral, broken glaives spend out in front of her taking down another demon. However, the third dodged heading for Lottie who barely had time to react but Micha'el had her back. He sored through the trees and landed near the two conjuring chains of pure light as he did to ensnare and throw down the flying demons. Micha'el magically pulled Lottie back out of the line of fire while she simultaneously prepared her next attack. Two spectral lined up ahead of her and a spectral form of her rushed forward, as if it were predicting her moves, before she lunged gracefully taking down the beast. She retreated back to Tsuna's side where Micha'el joined shortly. His Aria floated behind him as his fist filled with light conjuring twin-swords made of light. Tsuna glanced at the two and said, "Let's finish them off with our Sunset formation."

This was a formation that they had only talked about in theory, but hadn't tested it out yet. She was confident they could pull it off though due to how strong they had all become. In order to preform this move, Micha'el would have to get up high and fight the creatures in mid-air while blinding them with a copious amount of light. Lottie and her would clear out the pests on the ground making room for Micha'el to descend downward. Once he down safely and the light starts to dull she fire off another flare, but this one will explode once it reaches a certain height vaporizing what ever vermin are left. Tsuna turned her back to Lottie and they would fight backside to backside to clear out the area while Micha'el flew up above. "Ready! And go!" Tsuna twirled her hammer taking out some more demons that scurried her way trusting her teammates to take their positions and fight.

Micha'el nodded, understanding the order. Lottie clenched her spare hand into a fist, grinning with excitement. Micha'el began by dashing forwards, seemingly into the fray as dozens of demonic beasts moved in all around him. He then jumped up high, carried by ethereal white wings that appeared and vanished after a single great flap. A halo of white light appeared around his waist to then suspend him in the air. Lottie dashed forwards and slashed at a demon, then spun and stabbed the next. Each cacophonous squeal meant a successful blow and gave her the confidence to move onto the next. She jumped and twisted sideways in the air, evading the mauling of a beast beneath her as she sent out several spectral blades to dispatch some more demons. Micha'el began to cast bolts of white light from above, taking out the flying demons with force or by blinding them and redirecting them below where Tsuna and Lottie made swift work. Sensing that Tsuna's opportunity would be close he then reached up high and took in a deep breath. For this he needed to reach within himself, within his soul and tap into the unknown energy he used from the Aria. He had to trust in himself to feel it... to hear that familiar sound. Everything fell silent within him as he searched for it, then, as he hoped, there it was. A warmth in his chest. It was small and faint, but he felt it. He opened his eyes and as flying demons attempted to dive into him he snapped his fingers. The snap caused light and sound to ripple out from him, blinding all the demons and even scorching their feathers and fur. The force caused the flyers to fall to the ground, and some of those there also tumbled to ground. It sounded like the tone of a small bell, but it had the force of a tower's bell. It was angelic, pure... and powerful. Micha'el descended into a clearing that his teammates had prepared for him, and then finally Tsuna enacted her final blow.

Tsuna Miki

Micha'el epically dashed forward into a fray of a dozen demons that were ready to ambush him. He jumped high into the air with the help of ethereal wings that dissipated after one flap before a white halo appeared around his waist to keep him suspended. Lottie acrobatically slayed one demon after another, each blow gave her a significant confidence boost as spectral blades cleaned out the vermin. From above, Micha'el either dispatched or blinded the demons sending them down to the girls that each took them out with their own combos. While Tsuna was fighting, she had been heating up her weapon the entire time getting it ready for the final shoot. Micha'el must have sensed her anticipation as he raised his hand up high and inhaled deeply. Like the tome of a bell, Micha'el snapped his fingers and a shockwave of light erupted all around him blinding the demons and singeing off their fur and feathers. All the beast fell from the sky, some of the ground trembled over, and Micha'el descended angelically. The force was unlike anything she had ever seen from him leaving her speechless to the point where she almost forgot to attack. Shaking her head, Tsuna twirled her weapon upside down and launched the flare. It rose up some feet before exploding and raining down fire taking out ever creature in its path, but leaving the trio completely unharmed. Once the fire had set the smoke raising from the corpses had cleared somewhat, Tsuna looked around until she found her cigarette pack. The box was a little crushed and the one of the ends scorched, but the cargo in it was fine.

She breathed a sign of relief, but didn't turn to her teammates out of shame. She could sense Micha'el was unhappy with her behavior of constantly running off and getting into trouble. "I..." She started before biting her lip and turning to face them ready to accept the consequences. "I won't say I'm sorry. I know what I just did was stupid and I shouldn't have gone off my own. I keep putting us in danger..." She couldn't figure out why she couldn't just follow the rules and trust her teammates to the fullest. She was still scared of losing everyone she had left. She was still a child. "Thank you for saving me." Her ears drooped down as she pocketed the box of cigarettes hopelessly. Ivan was probably dead and she was just over her screwing around. Micha'el and Lottie deserved better than her, she knew they did so why do they keep putting up with her antics?
