Honestly, Leona hadn’t been expecting the letter. She supposed that she should have…Ekstrom had told her she would be sending one, hadn’t she? But the idea of a magical letter was such a stretch, and honestly, the idea that the Squire would really actually want to talk to her again was…hard…no. Impossible to truly believe. They were friendly. Cordial. But…they were still technically enemies.
She stared at the letter, and felt…excited. And nervous. What if it was a trap? What if it was a trick? What if she didn’t really mean it, and she wanted to be able to laugh at Leona for thinking that they were…
Friendly…
She began to pace slightly and wondered if she should bring something? Did you bring something while visiting someone’s Wonder? Ekstrom hadn’t brought anything to visit her Realm with, and…she figured they were pretty much just the same thing with a different name and in a different place so…
But…then again, she was told to bundle up? That it was cold? Maybe her Wonder was like a preset world with different temperatures that she could change to her will? That…was an interesting thought, but she honestly liked the idea that she had the power to control the weather…but…then…
Could she make snow and cold weather in her Realm? Maybe. She had figured out…in concept at least, how to make a humid forest…so why couldn't snow be possible…
Her mind had almost completely turned to the idea of making it snow in her Realm until she again looked at the letter she had been sent, and then once again, the dread came.
She…should bring something. At least something for them to eat…something they could share? She could go to the market and see what was available…she still had several days, at least! Time to prepare…time to worry. Time to really doubt if this letter was genuine or a joke…
Time to find other Knights and fight with them…well, maybe not that. She was going to be working a lot, so that was going to cut into her time out as Leona for a little bit…and really she had only powered up now to see if she could hunt any crystals in Mirrorspace so…
Honestly it was a big fluke! A trick of fate.
Or maybe just…destiny. Giving her the chance to hang out again with Ekstrom…and to see this Wonder...
Leona would just go shopping the night before. She would bring some snacks…and then she wouldn’t be seen as rude and…all would be well. It was the perfect plan.
She pulled a pen out of subspace and wrote on the note.

Of course. Nothing happened and after a few minutes of sitting and staring at the paper, Leona felt her cheeks going warm and slipped it into subspace.
Yeah so…that mistake was just going to fade into the dark corners of her mind, and nobody needed to know.
