TIME TO REVISE POOR SPARTA INTO A CAPTAIN

Hobbies:
Martial Arts Training: Jayce has been training in some form of martial arts since he was a teen. It started out with MMA and UCF grappling and jujitsu, but has expanded over time to include kickboxing, akido weapons training, and street fighting. Just don't ask him where he did all this training; he doesn't really remember, or at least none of the places stuck in his head long enough for him to remember. He can point it out if you show him though.
Video Games: While he plays less video games these days with his work schedule, he does still make time on weekends to play. He's moved from Diablo more into shooters - Helldivers is his current kick and attentions - but he has a regular fire team in Destiny 2 that he always sets aside time for that runs raids on Saturdays.
Virtues:
Unshakeable: When Jayce makes up his mind about something, there's not much that can change it. You won't find him balking at a leap of faith or a problem, and you won't find him backing down from his values either. He will stick his flag in the ground and tell you to move before he will give an inch. This makes him a very reliable person, and he'll keep his word. Provided he can remember it.
Jovial: Jayce has a sort of happy go lucky mentality about life, sort of like a golden retriever who's just happy to be alive. He will more often than not have a smile on his face, because, as he puts it, 'smiles are easy, frowns are hard'. He keeps a pleasant attitude about him, even when the going gets tough, and will absolutely be the one in the group to keep everyone calm - or at least optimistic - about situations. He's toned down just how jovial he is over the years though so that he doesn't end up being off putting.
Flaws:
Tunnel Vision: Jayce has a tendency to put on blinders and focus solely on the task in front of him. Or enemy. Or person. When he sets his sights on something, everything else simply doesn't exist to him. He will completely miss the point of an exercise by focusing on the wrong part of the instructions, or he'll keep fighting even when he really should stop. It's not until someone breaks that intense level of concentration that he realizes that he's off in no mans land. When you mix in how swiss cheese his memory seems to be these days? Its a recipe for chaos.
Memory Holed: Jayce knows, he knows that there should be... more to his memories, but he couldn't tell you what or why. He wouldn't call himself forgetful - that would imply that he had a working brain - but he often finds things just... lost from his brain. You'll tell him something, and when you bring it up two weeks later, he has no idea that you told him. This becomes more apparent in interpersonal relationships, especially if someone has told him to stop doing a certain behavior. He's sure that you told him, but he has no memory of it. As a result, Jayce tends to log almost everything in his phone.

Hair - Brownish red

Face - Generally has stubble on his chin and sideburns
Body - Stocky, well muscled, and tall at 6'3"
Clothing - A lot of t-shirts, jeans, and comfy socks. Or just sleep pants. Or nothing. He also doesn't understand the idea of jackets or sweatshirts.

Weapon
Lieutenant Weapon: Plastic Halloween Scythe
Captain Weapon: Simple Bladed Scythe - Blade is 'blunted' but can leave large bruises and abrasions where it hits.
General Weapon: Large Detailed Scythe - The blade flickers with phantom dark red flames, and is hot to the touch, however does not leave burns or set things on fire when it connects with objects.
