School/Occupation: Yasmyne is professionally a family court judge after years of working toward her juris doctor. Always the pragmatist, she does her best to be a neutral judge, though she has a soft spot for the children who pass in front of her bench.
Hobbies:
”Just Workin’ On My Fitness~” - To call it a hobby is a bit of a stretch to Yasmyne, but the fact that she’s there four times a week might qualify it as one for her. One day is her weight-training day, another is her cardio day, another is specifically leg day, and the fourth is the day she works with the personal trainer she was assigned by the gym when she signed up. Her fitness goals are important to her because she wants to be strong and healthy for the foreseeable future in front of her. It does have the bonus of shocking men (and women!) who don’t seem to think her form should be able to haul those fifty-pound bags of pool sand around…
“Watch Out for the Roomba!” - Ever seen those videos on TikTok showing off gadgets to make house organization easier, cleaning more efficient, or anything that may make the house look more streamlined? Those videos were aimed at people like Yasmyne. What she spends quite a bit of her spare money on are the gadgets from these videos and other similar products, always wanting to try out a new way to make her home more efficient and more well-managed. Anyone who comes through her home would likely be stunned by how neat it is. As a bonus, it means she doesn’t need to find as much time to care for her home herself if her new myriad gadgets can help things faster. Does this window cleaner robot actually work? She hopes so.
Virtues:
“Keep Your Feet on the Ground.” - Pragmatic - Yasmyne is not prone to flights of fancy often. Everything for her is very mindful, very realistic, and very sensible. If it weren’t for the proof in front of her, she wouldn’t believe anything about Destiny City as nothing about it seems logical. As is, though, Destiny City itself is an example of her pragmatism. She has seen it, she has negotiated with it, she has concluded what is reasonable, and she has filed it away in her mind. It’s how she approaches the majority of things in her life.
“It’ll Get Done.” - Hard-working - The word lazy doesn’t exist in Yasmyne’s personal dictionary. Once she has her mind set on a task, her mind is set on that task. It’s hard to shake her from something she’s going to do, and she will get it done, no matter the circumstances. It means that she will often put in as much work as required (and often even more than required!), determined to make sure to get the best results she can for whatever that particular task or goal is. Yasmyne is the type who even if she took on a task she lost interest in, she would remain dedicated to it all the way through.
“Got It.” - Devoted - Speaking of being devoted all the way through – Yasmyne’s dedication to the people and things she cares about hardly wavers. Yasmyne is a devoted type, very dedicated to anything she thinks is worth the effort and the time–and sometimes, things that even aren’t worth it if she had already started her way through. It’s the principle of the thing, to some degree. Yasmyne is dependable, especially when it comes to anything related to the causes or objects she cares about in specific.
Flaws:
“It was the Correct Decision.” - Remorseless - Yasmyne has no regrets. Some people will come to her about prior decisions she has been part of, asking her why she made the choices she did. Her response is usually a shrug. They were the right decisions. Did they seem cruel? Perhaps, to an outside observer. While it does mean that Yasmyne frequently carries quite a bit of confidence in herself, it can teeter into too much, because regret is not a word in her language. Even when presented with evidence that perhaps an action she made in college was hurtful, she will shrug her shoulders and move on. What’s done is done.
“Better Ways to Approach That.” - Critical - Yasmyne, for as much as she won’t listen to criticisms of herself, is awfully happy to hand them out. She has never heard of a constructive review. She has also never heard of a kind review or simply taking a look at something she’s shown without letting all of her thoughts out. It can make her seem unnecessarily harsh for no reason even if she is legitimately trying to be helpful. Yasmyne, also, often thinks she is legitimately being helpful when she tells someone that a particular painting is ugly when, in fact, they would have appreciated not being criticized for just something fun. They didn’t even ask.
“I Told You We Need More Glitter.” - Controlling - Yasmyne has to have everything in a very particular way, and she has to have it that way for it to be allowed to be in her environment. Working for her can be lovely if the people working for her like being given direct orders. Otherwise, it can be a nightmare. Working with her can also be a nightmare. Yasmyne is not exactly known for being the best team player, more likely to see a team project, scream in frustration, and wrest control of the entire thing for herself. If left in her silo, she does excellent work! If those around her listen to what she tells them to do, everything goes smoothly! Outside of those parameters?

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Her eyes are a smoky brown with some grey notes throughout. They’re generally rounded, often becoming rounder when she deals with people who trigger that wtf sense.
Hair: She keeps her hair longer, natural, and frequently styled in dreads. She occasionally takes her hair out of the dreads and lets it exist as a puff of curls around her head. The colour is a very dark brown, often appearing as black!
Face: Heart-shaped and expressive. She’s frustrated there are frequent bags under her eyes, but most people wouldn’t be able to tell considering she does use skin care religiously…
Skin Tone: Dark warm brown
Body Type: She’s generally curvy with some muscle tone underneath from frequent gym trips. Don’t let her form fool, she will bench press anyone who wants to challenge her.
Clothes: Often, she opts for function over form, preferring what will keep her moving and comfortable over anything cute. She may make an exception for a good celebration, but otherwise, don’t be surprised if it looks like she walked out of a business meeting and just quickly discarded a few buttons and her tie to make it so she would pass otherwise. That being said, sometimes function over form means she does like a good crop top during these warm summer months…
