Targovishte was in a good mood. The other Jupiter Knight she had helped had made her feel…validated. Again. For so long she had treated her responsibilities…as something that honestly wasn’t important but now? Now she had helped those two kids out with gaining their powers, and Zenner too…
Tonight, she was doing a patrol, and while she felt a Chaos aura…she wasn’t sure if she wanted to engage or if she should just leave well enough alone…but…
But someone who was being responsible didn’t just leave well enough alone.
With a resigned sigh, she made her way over, summoning her staff and holding it tightly, brandishing it at the lieutenant. “Hey! You’re doing bad things! If you’re doing bad things, I’m going to stop you from doing them!”
She bopped the girl…
The rather pretty girl on the head and then stepped back. “You don’t want me to get serious, do you?” Not…that she could really see herself doing too much more than she had…but. If she had to, she would.

Yes, Minyulite might have been planning to see if she could get out of this Nega-cult, but she was still doing what she could to keep up appearances in the meantime. After all, she still had to talk to her sibling and the rest of her family about some stuff, and if some General decided to get weird about her not draining energy in the meantime? Yeah, that would be bad. She couldn’t really blame someone for bopping her on the back of the head when she was looking for someone to drain, though, even if the first sound out of her mouth was a slightly annoyed, “Bruh!” Then she turned around to see the knight. Then the knight turned out to be a pretty girl. Oh. Minnie blinked. “Okay. That’s fair,” she said. “I was about to do bad things. But, if you want me to get serious,” she pulled out her plastic knife and pushed down the retractable blade, then let it spring back up with a boing sound. “Yeah. You might be a little disappointed, bro.”

Targovishte watched the girl…and after a moment, she just broke into laughter. This…wasn’t really someone who she felt any kinds of threatened by, and the weapon she had…it looked scary at first but she just…it made a sound that made it seem like the whole thing was a big joke.
“I think so. You’re really not much of a good little Negaverse agent, are you? Jeeze. Who are you, anyway? I’m Targovishte. Squire of Jupiter.”
She held her free hand out, an invitation. “You’re too pretty to be in with them anyway. It’s kind of a real shame.”

The concept of being a good little Negaverse agent, even if it was a joke, made Minnie make a face. "Bruh. No. Ew," she said, but then she was chuckling about it. It was hard to actually get offended when someone was calling her pretty. "Look, I do gig work. I thought I was just accepting a job, but, nope. Turns out it was an energy draining pyramid scheme cult." She stuck out her tongue, and put the knife back away, 'cause she had a feeling she wasn't gonna be needing that. "And I agree, I'm way too pretty for this, but it took me a couple months to find someone who could actually tell me how to get out. Now I have to like, lay low, figure out logistics, since apparently I might lose a bunch of my memories as a consequence." She huffed. "Don't trust smarmy businessmen. They're the worst."

Targovishte was…well. Taken aback was hardly a way to describe it, but she nodded and looked…impressed? “Well, no s**t? Hell yeah. Then I hope you and I can be friends when you get out. Look, you’ll be getting a fun little ring? If you have a Wonder, you’ll find it…ah…”
She withdrew a note pad from her subspace pocket and spelled out her name, handing it over to the lieutenant.
“Look, I don’t know if you’ll remember me, or remember this, but keep my name handy…you can write to me when you have that ring? Just write my name on the outside of the note and send it my way! We can hang out when you’re looking even cuter outside of Chaos!”

"I mean, I'd like to think I'll remember your pretty face, but," she took the note all the same, to put with the small stack of papers that she'd been gathering up. Would she actually write? She didn't know. She was a lot better with emojis, or voice messages, but she liked this girl, and she wanted to have friends, so she'd see what she could figure out. "My name's Minyulite," she told her. "I don't think I said that yet, but then, hopefully by the next time, I'll have a new name anyway." She liked the idea of being a knight with a magic ring, even if the magic ring mostly involved sending letters, which she was bad at. She wondered if Knights got any other powers that she would be better at using. Would she still have a plastic knife, or would she end up with something better? She didn't think this girl had any of those answers, and even if she did, Minnie might not remember it by the time it actually mattered. "See you then, okay?" Then she was walking away, totally convinced not to even try with the energy draining.

“I’ll hold you to it!” Targovishte called, laughing again. She really hoped that she’d be seeing the girl again…and if she was a Knight the next time? Well. There were lots of fun things that Targovishte could teach her and help her with–provided she wanted help.
With a pleased smile, she returned her paper to subspace and stretched before turning in the other direction and beginning to walk away, slinging her short staff over her shoulder and humming softly.
That was just what the world needed.
More Knights. More cute girl Knights…
…More cute girl Knights that Targovishte could meet…and dance with…
And maybe kiss!
She laughed out loud and leapt onto the nearest building.
