Quote: The Wishing Tree (2) : Your wish is only said to come true if you grant the wish of someone else; when you write your wish, you must also take one off of the tree and do your best to grant it. What wish do you pull off, and how do you intend to ‘grant’ it? Do you work with someone else to grant this wish, or do you work alone? You may get approval from another player to use the wish their character hung up, but no names are attached so your character may not ever know who wrote it!

Lacaille decided to take a wish off the tree to grant, she found one that she liked and was a simple wish, someone had wished that the park would get cleaned up. So one of the nights after the star festival had ended for the day she went about picking up trash and other things from the park. She leaned down at one pile of trash wearing a pair of gloves that didn't go with her senshi outfit to make sure she didn't touch anything yucky. She found a pink star charm in the pile of trash. She figured she would clean it off when she got home she didn't want to put a dirty charm in her collection after all.
Lacille went to the next pile of trash picking everything up and putting it in the bag that she would take to the dumpster when she was done. Perhaps it was silly a senshi cleaning up a park in the middle of the night, but keeping the streets clean could be looked at as more than just going after negaverse soldiers. Sometimes it meant cleaning up after tourists that didn't see Desinty City as their home and left it a mess at the end of the day.
She really didn't mind cleaning things up it was peaceful and she would never know who made the wish and she really didn't care anyway. It hardly mattered after all. Besides according to the tradition she had to grant a wish for her wish to be granted. So she had hope now that her wish for someone to donate books to the library would be granted. She kinda had hope in that anyway since it was such a simple wish. Much like this wish of cleaning up the park. It just took someone willing to try. Lacaille thought that was the purpose of the wishing tree really.
For once it wasn't a thing during this season about magic, except perhaps the magic of people helping other people not for a reward but for no other reason than just to be kind. She liked the tradition a great deal. It was really nice and Lacaille looked forward to doing it another year. She wondered what the star charms would look like next year. They were so beautifully done and she was curious who made them each year. The design anyway, since she couldn't imagine one person making the who knew how many star charms that were all over the city by hand. She found them all over the place laying on the ground where people had dropped them. Which was a shame for whoever had lost them and great for Lacaille who was collecting them this year. She had found a bunch already. Once Lacaille was done cleaning up the park she smiled to herself she knew it wouldn't be clean by the end of tomorrow night but hey maybe someone else would make the same wish and someone else would do the next clean up.
