The night was not looking too promising anymore. Irenaea scanned the horizon and gave what could have been the barest hint of a sigh before watching lightning flash in the distance. Inclement weather always seemed to drive potential energy sources inside and it was looking like tonight was no exception. Irenaea scanned the sky for a long moment before ducking into the alcove that she had scoped out the previous night. The plan would have been to use this space as a sight shield so that she could send her wraith out in relative peace and quiet to allow it the freedom to do what it did. She would stay safely hidden while it gathered energy. Though now it appeared as if her safe space would double down as a place where she could shelter from the approaching storm system, Becoming a waterlogged senshi of widow spiders was not high on her list of activities that she thought she would enjoy. Ducking down into her little hidey hole for the evening did Irenaea cast the smallest of frowns at the overhang that would hopefully keep her dry if any precipitation were to fall before mumbling softly.

"I don't think this is going to be a very pleasant evening. Why didn't I heed the warning signs?"

Instead of sitting there, alone, and casting blame on herself for the ignorance is bliss attitude that saw her using a roof's overhang as protection from the elements Irenaea shuffled her limbs for a moment before finding a position in order to recline in before summoning a pair of items out of her little subspace pocket. The sky lightened for a moment with a closer bolt of lightning as she gently worried the end of the pen between her teeth before flipping open the book of sudoku puzzles to the one that had been started earlier that afternoon. The pen left her mouth in order to gently tap a staccato rhythm against the pages before she made the smallest sound of "aha" before scribbling down the numeral that was missing from the sequence in the current block that she left off on. Even as Irenaea's gaze lifted from the pages of the puzzle book to flick out as the storm began to rage in earnest did the senshi make note of the fact that there did not seem to be any imminent roars of thunder. The sound of rain was conspicuously absent as well and that did not sit well in her thoughts. A storm that did not carry rain was not unusual but Irenaea was still unnerved by the lack of what should have been, at the least, a sizeable downpour. Even as she continued to tease a possible solution from her numerical puzzle did the wind pick up enough to pluck at the veil that covered her face for the most part. Tearing it off did Irenaea sigh softly once more before giving up on her puzzle in order to simply watch as the storm raged overhead. Her shard flashed out as she caught sight of her wraith returning. The creature disappeared into the shard and Irenaea tucked it away before feeling content enough, and safe enough, to let her guard down for the current moment in time.
