She might spend much of her time working alone, gathering energy and starseeds, but she had contacts now - people she knew. She was able to call on others if she ever needed and that was new, and pleasing, for her. The corrupt had been more active the last few months, gaining in confidence, as she moved about the redlight district in the city building herself up.
Now that she was more confident in herself, and her magic, Valeria was more comfortable wandering into the city park where all sorts of powered people gathered. She had avoided this place for a very long time, not at all confident in herself or knowing anyone she could call for an assist should she need it. That wasn't an issue now, at least she didn't find herself thinking as such, as she walked into the park and took a moment to brace herself for whatever might come tonight. Be it a fight or just finding people to grab energy from - she was ready for it.

Maybe it was too late for Daphne. Maybe she was never going to get to be happy. She had to keep going, though. She had ghosts on her world to put to rest, and anyway, there were people on Earth who still had a chance of having things turn out okay, and she didn't want anything getting in the way of that for them. Especially not Chaos. If she'd been in a better mood, she might have stopped to think before she walked right towards the corrupt senshi she found in the middle of the park. She wasn't in a better mood. "Go away," she said, deciding to give diplomacy a thin attempt so that she didn't accidentally punch someone trying to purify, or something. She was already settling into a stance and curling her fists, though.

Had this been a year back, or even further back, Valeria would have left - hell she almost certainly wouldn't even be here. But she was here and she wasn't about to leave simply because someone told her to. Instead she stood her ground and shook her head. "No."
The answer was simple, because it didn't need to be more complicated or lengthy, it was as simple and to the point as Valeria herself was. Eyeing the other Valeria couldn't help but stare for some moments, pondering something, she'd seen mentioned in the tablet about alien senshi...that looked slightly less than human from what she had gleaned of the reports and mentions of it. This one had to be one of them.
"Alien." It was a simple statement, a truth, of what the other was but the dislike was there in her voice. Perhaps if this alien wasn't a senshi she'd be alright wiot hthe idea of an alien here - in front of her. She would be ok with them exsisting on Earth but not like this. This war, all of this, it was an Earth issue and something for people who were born here and lived ehre to deal with. Not some aliens who were not native to this planet. This was not their place to get involved and this one clearly thought the buisness of those who belonged here was their buisness as well.
"I'm not leaving because you told me to." She would handle this senshi simply because she did not like some alien telling her what to do, because normally she did not go seeking fights and clearly she didn't think this one was looking to start a fight either - they'd given her an out after all. But she wouldn't be taking that out...not here...not now...and not to some alien.
"You should leave this planet - go home." This war was an Earth problem not a problem for everyone to get involved in.

Alien she didn't take as an insult, despite the tone in the woman's voice. It was true. She wasn't from here. The demand to leave Earth, though? Daphe's lips pressed into a thin line, although the corner of her mouth quirked up into something that could almost be seen as a smile. Her chest heaved once, twice- a broken laugh. There was no spark of joy in her eyes. There was no spark of anything at all. "Maybe I would," she said, and for all that her mind might have been somewhere else, the way that she carried her body was smooth and practiced as she took a step forwards. "If Chaos hadn't destroyed everything on my world." The numbness that had been in Daphne's chest for weeks and months now started to feel different. Hotter. Experiencing loss was one thing, but to have it rubbed in her face? "Maybe I would," she said, "If Chaos hadn't killed. My. Whole. Family.." Every word was punctuated by an almost feline hiss. "If you want to make this into a fight, okay." She hadn't wanted to play nice in the first place. She sped up to close the last of the distance between them, kicking out at the senshi's legs. "But know I don't have anything to lose."

"And you think we took that from you? We haven't left our home - this planet." Came the pink haired senshi's responce, right as her legs got taken out from under her. Landing on her butt, and her tail bone, she bit back a pained sound. Her right hand went to press to her tailbone, knowing she'd without a doubt be brusied fro mthe harsh landing.
"This is our planet and we haven't left it. Whatever got your planet is not us - so why don't you focus on your planet and leave here. This isn't your place, you don't get to poke your nose into our planets buisness." Standing, slowly, she felt a few locks of hair slip fro mthe clip she'd been keeping it up in. Her hand was quick as she reached out to slap the other across the face.
"You, and your fellow aliens, should keep out of our war." Chaos she called it, whatever had ruined her planet, but it was not the same chaos. It had to be just a general term used. As people used chaos to describe chaos in an office, or other sorts of things that were crazy. It did not mean the same exact thing every time. This had to be the same, or similar.

Every word that came out of the senshi's mouth showed Daphne more and more that she had no idea what she was talking about. If she hadn't been awful, Daphne could have told her some things. That wasn't going to happen. While Daphne squinted at her insults, she recovered from the kick and slapped Daphne right in the face. She hissed again, her tail puffing up to twice its normal size. She took a step back, rubbing at her cheek. She'd had worse, but it still stung. "It's the same Chaos," she growled, "And you let someone put it inside of you. I can see it in your skin." Honestly, just being in the presence of senshi that were twisted like this made her skin crawl. Daphne shuddered. "Kinship," she murmured, holding her hands out just for a moment. Hoping the magic would give her a second of distraction, she went for one of those punches that she'd been practicing. Sleet Tempest Snape Sailor Scout Attack: Kinship Daphne calls out the name of her attack with her arms outstretched towards a target within ten feet. The target's eyes glow lavender and they feel a sense of kinship with Daphne. This can manifest as her mannerisms or appearance reminding them of a specific family member or loved one, but in all cases targets feel warm inside looking at her, like Daphne is someone to be cherished. These effects lessen somewhat if she attacks them physically while the magic is active. The effects last 30 seconds and she can use this attack three times per battle.

Of course they were saying that the chaos was the same, because it suited them, when it couldn't possibly be the same chaos. She knew that Metalia was down there behind big high doors, ones she never planned on walking past, but being there how was Metalia also up in space? Did this one really think there was some big power looming over the whole of the cosmos tinkering here and there and infecting places. Doing everything all at once and in all different places? That was like believing in god and she did not give to such beliefs, she believed in what was logical and scientific...or as scientific as possible. She somehow also managed to believe in magic....she had no choice really, she was a senshi.
"Well, anyone can see it." It was rather hard to miss, a hand pressed to her chest just covering the marking there which signified which side she was on in this whole mess of a war. She didn't like it, she didn't like fighitng, but she would do as she needed to.
The others magic she expected, considering how they were talking, but she had no idea what it would do. And it snuck up on her, she didn't notice how her thoughts shifted as they did, but the senshi infront of her reminded of her one of her siblings, a younger one, they were just as the same in how they spoke to her. Her sister she loved, despite her sisters attitude at times, she might even adore her little sister because of it. Her sister had a strong personality and didn't take s**t from anyone.
This senshi didn't look like her sister, far from it, but they remidned her of them. Perhaps this one was young like her sister, but in the alien equivalent of it? So a child of sorts.
Which she didn't want to attack them she did raise her voice to scold them - beccause they'd punched her. "You shouldn't go punching people like that!" And grabbing there arm she pulled on it as she shouted about hitting people.

The magic had done something. It had only worked so well as a distraction, though. Now the senshi was looking at her in a way that was a little bit condescending. The scolding tone made Daphne's tail twitch. It reminded her of some of her instructors, back home. She'd never liked it when they talked to her like that, either. Although, maybe the senshi had a point. Should she be taking out her feelings about everything that was going on by punching the first person she'd ran into who was corrupted? Maybe not, especially because she clearly had faulty information about some things. Chaos, mostly. She clearly didn't understand Chaos. Daphne seethed anyway, but she didn't try to punch again. For now. "I'll stop trying to hit you if you stop trying to tell me to leave the planet," she offered, fists still clenched.

"You need to stop being so stubborn, it isn't a good trait to have. You need to bend with things sometimes." Some give and some bend, as she kept telling her younger sister. You couldn't always put your foot down and not give any ground, it would just drive people away. "I don't know why you can't return to space, why come here anyway." She spoke, trying to work with this one, who reminded her of her little sister, as she hoped they'd just leave.
At least they weren't trying to fight her though, as many would. As the magic started to wear off, having that feeling of similarity to her sister lifting, she could still see some of it - enough of it. That had however been a dirty trick...to use magic on her. She knew it would happen but that sort of magic - to make her kinder to them. She was being nice enough by telling them to leave and not out right trying to remove them as some would. Now as she stepped back from them she made as if to give a two finger salute but words where whispered and a pink orb flung at them right before she took off, using her own magic to cover her. She didn't trust that they wouldn'a ttack her while retreating so she was going to cover her retreat.
"Strike the mind." stari_maga Super Sailor Scout Attack: Strike the mind. Like the last time Valeria places her index and middle finger to her right temple and calls out her attack. This time when she flicks her fingers toward the enemy the energy is a slightly darker pink hue. Hitting the enemy, if it hits the enemy, it will inflict the same absent mindedness from before only this one is harder to shake the victim from. The range this time is 15feet but it can only hit the one target. Also, this attack lasts forty seconds and can be used twice in combat.

Daphne hadn't really been expecting that offer to work, but it was still just slightly disappointing when the senshi started talking again about how she was being stubborn and needed to just leave the planer. Daphne sighed, and raised her fist again. Although, at that point the corrupt was saying something. Magic? Anyway, at that point, Daphne stopped. She blinked. All the spunk and spite edged away into just confusion. What had she even been doing? Oh. She'd been fighting. She was able to hold onto that thought, but it took her a while longer of just blankly staring into the distance to figure out why. She did manage to put together a few of the pieces about Chaos, and ignorance, even before the magic wore off and she was able to think normally again, but of course even by that point the other senshi was long gone. Even at that point, she was still feeling scattered enough that there wasn't much left to do but to trudge back towards home, herself.
