Minyulite had powered up a few blocks from her house with the intention of trying to talk herself into doing some energy draining. Instead, she found herself asking herself how long she was going to keep doing this just because it was the past of least resistance. Her hands curled into fists at her sides when she thought about the idiots who had talked her into joining this cult by saying it was the path of least resistance. The problem was, they were strong idiots. One of them was close. She could feel the heaviness of it as soon as she powered up, and that made her start walking. It made her run, actually. She didn't want them to know what she was thinking. She didn't want them to think she was hesitating. It made her run right into one of those people in white. A knight? She didn't think it was a knight, but, whatever. She didn't have time to think about that. She dropped into an athletic stance as she got closer, stabbing out with her weird retractable prop knife.

He'd just finished scaring off a tiny youma, something that lookedl ike a winged gecko, when he felt a signature headed his way. Great - just great. He did not want this, didn't need it, and he'd only powered up to deal with the tiny youma because it was easy...and the damn thing had been bothering him. He'd powered up to kill it but it had scurried off, with some of his energy, before he could dust it.
Now someone was running at him and before he could back up they were trying to stab him with...a toy knife? He wanted to laugh but the panic kept him from it, he could feel his heart beating wildly in his chest, and because of that he lashed out and with a fist aimed for their face he aimed to strike them. They had scared the hell out of him! He still felt it in his chest, his poor damn heart, he was not cut out for this sort of thing! What did they think they were doing running at him like this?
His free hand, the one not balled up into a fist, was clutching at his chest as if he really might drop. Not much for violence, not normally, he considered this well earned for scaring him like this! "What do you think you're doing?"

"Sorry, bruh," she said as he started gripping at his chest like she'd actually stabbed him, even though her weapon made a bouncy spring sound as the retractable blade popped back out. The bruh had come out mostly because of nerves. She was seriously sorry. "I think one of my bosses is close," she said in a not-so-hushed whisper. "I know you weren't doing anything wrong but I gotta at least look like I'm trying to fight here." She couldn't tell if the other aura was any closer, but she could tell it wasn't gone. She didn't try to attack again, even with the useless knife. Instead, she said, "If you want, you can punch me."

Before they could even finish speaking he was already throwing a punch, he'd already been prepairing for it and he couldn't really hold himself back either. He knew he didn't have much strength, mostly cause he didn't know how to fight or even throw a proper punch, but damn it they had scared the s**t out of him.
"You really shouldn't go charging people with what looks like a knife." He fginally said, his heart done deciding if it wanted to burst fomr his chest or not. Damn it, he was going to have a grey hair or two forom this.
What the hell was this? Like peer preasure to go fight people because someone bigger and badder was nearby? He wanted to say something, he really did, but it seemed like they really didn't want to be involved in this whole thing. Oh screw it! "If you don't like it than leave - there is another option...several in fact." She could just up and leave this all behind or she could even change sides, either he assumed was better than what she obviously was not so fond of.

Minnie didn't even try to dodge. She did turn some, so that his fist hit more of her shoulder area than anything else. Then the punch connected. Oof. She grumbled afterwards, rubbing at her arm. Sure, having some bruises might make her fight story more convincing if the General showed up, but maybe she should have thought things through a little more before she asked someone to punch her. Maybe she should have thought things through more before she went for this fight story thing at all. She knew she should have thought things through before she took some weird business deal and ended up in this Negaverse cult. "I know," she said, when he told her she could leave. She didn't exactly know how, but maybe she could figure out some kind of magical witness protection. "I'm just trying to buy time. Trying not to be impulsive. That's what got me into this whole mess, y'know?" She could at least go home, though. There was nothing wrong with that. She didn't feel the other aura anymore, but she was gonna give it a few more seconds, just in case. "One more and then I'll leave you alone, 'kay?" she said, going for another stab with the fake knife.

"What are you buying time for? For this fight or to leave this all?" He questioned, wanting to know which she was talking about, because he was certain it was important. He might not want to be involved in this war but it seemed he wasn't alone...she didn't want in either. Though he tried to avoid it all...where as she seemed unable to, expected to participate. Perhaps there was some way for her to change sides, he didn't know enough to know about it, but he was certain there had to be a way. And once on the same side as himself, not that he liked to eve nthink about that, she could than just avoid everything.
He'd been avoiding this all for years and no one had come banging on his door to make him do things. No one had tried to get him to do anything but that was because no one knew him either.
"Change sides, there has to be away. Find someone who knows." People changed sides in wars all the time...right? So this should be no different, or mayube it would be but at least he was certain the option exsisted.
When she made to stab him again he pulled back, just a step or two. "Do you need me to hit you again?" At least this he could handle, this wasn't serious and she wasn't out for his blood. She needed to keep up some sort of an appearence; because she couldn't escape. He couldn't picture being stuck having to actually power up and participate against his will...all because someone else told him to - and expected him to comply.

"To," she hesitated, "Leave? Figure things out?" She squinted, obviously having a hard time wrapping her head around it all even now. "I dunno, bro. But, like, the long term stuff." She didn't try to stab him any more. They were alone now, unless there was some way for the Negaverse to watch them that she didn't know about. That was possible, but at least she didn't get that heavy aura sensation like someone was watching them. "For the fight, we should be all good." She had a bruise. He was fine. Now she just needed to leave before any other agents came around. "I will think about it, though. Try to find out my options." If one of those options was the other side, she was going to have to make sure that she wasn't getting herself into a worse situation. Although this guy seemed like a better sport about things than a lot of the people in the Negaverse, so that was a point in the favor of... whatever the other guys were called. "Sorry for stabbing you," she said. "Thanks for being mostly cool about it." Then, with a wave, she was walking away before anyone else would find them.
