xxxBefore you get started on you adventure here make sure you have Received your First Digimon Partner and that you have created your Tamer Profile in the Vital Bracelets Forum.
Follow Gaia TOS and Guild rules that may or may not be included below.
══════ ►Role-playing Rules◄ ═══════════════
1. Make sure to set up your Vital Bracelet/ Tamer Profile thread first before join the RP. This is where you will put your character BIO and where you will let us know which Digimon are traveling with you at any given time.
2. Characters from the Shows, Games, Manga and other Digimon Media are not Canon to this particular world. As such you can not use them as NPCs or control them yourself.
3. Please show respect to all other members. (No ignoring, annoying, begging or cursing other people. Even if their level of RPing is different than yours, it is something we all grow in together through the story.)
4. IC (In Character) actions that force another IC player to do something must be agreed upon OOC (Out of Character) before they happen. Part of good Role Playing is the opportunity to respond to an action that happens towards you. A good RPer will respond correctly to your actions.
5. NO killing other players character, unless you have their permission. Evidence of the mutual agreement must be posted in an OOC chat and a Crew member must be tagged and have approved it before killing can occur.
6. The use of weapons in the RP is strongly prohibited. Things like small pocket knives and other such tools for survival are, however, allowed, but not for survival as in fighting. The Digimon do the fighting, even though you can punch a Digimon it will not be very effective on most and is not advised.
7. There are not any illegal substances int eh Digital World and you are not allow to bring any with you. Expect an Admin of the Server to interfere if any is found.
8. DO NOT GOD-MOD! No one is above this rule, no mod, tamer, or member.
9. If you speak in OOC(Out Of Character) you must use ((,)) or some variation on it.
10. When RPing, it is suggested that you post in third person.
11. If you're using multiple Characters, you may identify which character is speaking by assigning a different color to each. And be consistent. This rule is not required but it is helpful to everyone.
12. Do not use ** to perform actions. Please write literately. We don't expect much, just use "quotation marks" when your character is speaking, and leave action and other writing in normal text. For thoughts, and thinking dialog, use italics
13. No double posting with the same character in a group arc. Except if the RP is frozen and you need to get out of the area. This would be like if someone does not respond for a few days.
14. True Title Digimon until otherwise stated are NPCs played by Crew as needed, You can also interact with the NPCs and possibly even play them, but they will not be your partner Digimon and are multiple time stronger than your version of the same Digimon. It is possible that Tamer owned Digimon could have an opportunity to become the true Titled version at some point.
══════ ►Forum Rules◄ ═══════════════
1. Do not post topics in this forum without permission. Topics in this forum are Locations, not separated stories. There should not be any, "New Digimon story! Accepting~Now!" Posted in this forum. Unique and Miscellaneous RPs, even if they are Digimon based, are not for this forum.
2. When Moving from one Location, to another, add at the end of your exit post, [[Somebody - Exit - To New Location]](If multiple people are exiting, all must be listed. Separated by comas)
If you are entering a new Location, add to the beginning of the entry post, [[Enter, Somebody, From Last Location]]
3. Read all these rules before starting the RP and post the secret word "Chicken Salad" in this thread to accept these Terms and Conditions.
══════ ►Digivolution Rules◄ ═══════════════
1 You must own all digimon you use in the RP, as you unlock new partners in the guild place their guild art in your Vital Bracelet Tamer Profile so we know who is allowed on your team. If the art is not placed in the profile itself, there is no way for me to know if you truly own the Digimon in the Guild. I will issue 1 warning, and if it is not added in a reasonable amount of time, the RP profile will be blocked until it is fixed. This means no more posts can be made in the RP.
2 Non-Guild Owned Digimon, cannot be used in an RP. If you are caught using a Digimon partner you have not acquired through the guild, you will be warned once, and if you continue to break this rule, you will be banned.
3 The exception to rule 2 are NPCs(Non-player-characters). Some examples would be a wild Digimon rampaging in a forest, or shop owner in the city. These can be used freely, and do not require approval. However, NPCs, are not to be controlled as you would your Digimon partner. Keep that in mind. They should be their own living breathing entity and now used to give you an advantage.
4. You may only take a battle action with three different Digimon in one post. Think of this as your Frontline Digimon. Your other Digimon will be in your backline where you can have up to 5 in the backline. All Digimon currently traveling with you on those lines must be listed in your RP profile of your Vital Bracelet with their full Digivolution line included. You can change these out in any Hub city you go to at the Digi-farms.
5. Digimon should Digivole up through their lines through multiple posts so as to not escalate a fight too quickly. Some times you may need to move through the lines a bit quicker if it's a major thread but a good way to get around the need to jump straight to Ultimate Digimon might be for there to be some smaller Digimon to fight first while you are telling the story.
