At first the morning had started out rather beautiful with a nice sunrise and clear skies. Lutana had decided to go out for a walk in the park, the Belrean city still amazing her with how it could fit in such a large space full of nature in between all of those tall buildings and crowded streets. Still, she was growing rather fond of it and her work at the teashop was improving since she had decided to linger for longer instead of returning to Jahaur. She still sent samples back to her former mentor, the hybrid not forgetting her kindness but she had taken up more interest in Belrean culture and currency. So for now she stayed, checking out all the sights while enjoying time with her family who were staying in Belrea at the moment. Even today she had hoped to meet up with Siel at the park since it was such a beautiful day, Lutana not realizing that there were storm clouds over the horizon and quickly heading their way.

As odd as it was to say, Siel found himself missing Pale'iko. He'd wanted to travel with his family for so long that he never gave himself the chance to contemplate what leaving their home would feel like. It was the first stable home he'd ever had in his life and it was made even more special by sharing that experience with his family. Quiana's artwork lined the walls of the children's rooms, as did his own and even theirs as they grew. He'd never stopped them from doing it; had never wanted to. What did it matter if little finger prints marred the wood, when those same prints nearly doubled in a years time? It was like capturing the moment and maybe he'd started getting sentimental.

Still, getting to see his children's reactions to the city and all it had to offer was rewarding in it's own right. They were old enough now that they didn't need him to constantly hold their hands and guide them which was...another reason to feel his heart tug as he crossed the city to meet up with his sister. The sky overhead was darkening, promising rains at some point today and he severely hoped it would be later. Much, much later.

"Luluuuu!" Siel raised a hand and waved.

"Siel~!" Lutana let out a laugh as she raised a hand in greeting, the array of colorful bangles around her wrist jingling as she waved. "You made it!" It was mostly a tease, the hybrid playfully approaching her brother and giving him a slight bump on the hip with her layered skirts fluttering around her ankles even more with the growing breeze. She looked around Siel's shoulders before pulling back with a small smile on her face. "I'm surprised you didn't have some attachments." Not like she minded, she would be seeing the rest of the family later once her actual afternoon shift was over. This was just a short morning break until supplies came in and then she would be stuck helping to unload and organize everything in the teashop for at least a few hours before true freedom.

At least that was the plan before she recognized the growing clouds and the fat raindrops that were starting to splash down on the ground next to them. Perhaps the merchants would be delayed? Lutana held out her hands, her palms catching the colder droplets of rain. "Looks like the weather is shifting today." She commented, glancing towards Siel to see his reaction. Personally she wasn't so dismayed by it since she preferred the chaos that nature could bring, but most probably wouldn't be too happy with a planned walk being interrupted so soon.

"Yeah, same." It wasn't uncommon for him to have a tagalong or two, and while he never tended to mind it having this little bit of 'Siel' time was a welcome change. Just hearing his name instead of 'dad', 'daddy' or 'papa' soothed a part of his brain. "Buuuuut I promised Quiana I'd make it up to her if I got to spend a little time with my favorite sister all by myself." And to punctuate it, Siel gave a very exaggerated wink and grinned.

He hadn't hoped for much with the weather; the entirety of his walk had been overshadowed by thick, fat clouds. A little part of him wondered if it was just going to be a sort of overcast day...until the rain started.

"A little water won't melt me, but what about you? Won't you turn into vapor and float away?" He made little wavy witch fingers.

Lutana shook her head at the exaggerated wink, even though a smile lingered on her lips. Maybe one day she would understand whenever she found someone but it was always amusing to see how Siel and Quiana flirted around each other and even kept at it when the other one wasn't even present. "Well, if that doesn't suffice I could always pay her back with some specially prepared tea." Lutana teased lightly back. "Though I'm sure she'll have her shot at freedom eventually as well."

The hybrid tilted her head, watching as the sky grew even darker as she contemplated Siel's words. "As alluring as the thought is...I don't think I will." She replied towards her triplet, laughter in her silver gaze as she looked back at him. "I suppose it's a good time as any to enjoy some privacy in the park." And that much was true, while the rain poured down around them there were others running away from the park and heading towards nearby stores for shelters. "Just be careful that the breeze doesn't blow you away." She brushed past Siel as she gestured with her chin towards the path that twisted further into the park, her own hair whipping around her face as the storm started to settle in over the city.

Initially he'd meant what he said. This was by far not the first time he'd taken a stroll through the rain, nor would it be the last, but that wind. The longer they walked the more it picked up and even the rain was staring to sting. He already looked like a drowned mess, so maybe it would eventually pass and leave them be?

"So how's Belrea been treating you? Settled in yet?" It didn't seem like such a terrible place; just not somewhere he found himself looking to settle.

Hmm. It did appear that there was actually some ice mixed in with the rain now. Lutana simply flicked a piece of hail from her shoulder as she walked further into the park as she spoke with Siel, the hybrid skipping here and there as she enjoyed the chaos of the storm. "As settled as I can be, I suppose." She acknowledged with a soft laugh, the sound almost swept away by the wind. "The tea techniques here are intriguing so I'm thankful for the opportunity even if it is only for a short time and the city life is definitely a change from Jahaur." Or it could turn into years, who knew? Lutana shrugged at the thought. She would take it a week at a time since no one truly knew what the future held, right?

"How about you? Will your family be moving with the next season or lingering a bit longer in the city here?"

Should they...should they be going in now? Siel tugged the edges of his robe closed, as if that would be enough to keep the chill at bay. He was grinning from ear to ear like a fool because his sister was there, but honestly, if she suggested going in he wouldn't fight it. Especially when a piece of freezing rain hit him in the eye.

He could see the signs above a few shops whipping here and there, which would have been concerning enough if a shop owner wasn't outright in the process of locking up. Lutana...saw that, right? They definitely should be getting inside...or was he just losing his edge? Had fatherhood softened him? No, no, you can stay outside. Don't be a coward.

"I'm not really sure." He actually had to raise his voice just to cut over the wind. "Honestly? I've been missing Matori and I'd like to take the kids to visit Sol." Because of the larger age gap between the triplets and their elder siblings the bond had never been as strong. Calliana and Casimir were different; they'd been born not too long after the triplets. Sol and Ygraine, though? They'd been fully grown with their own lives by the time he arrived.

Still, he wanted his kids to at least know them and if his older brother couldn't travel then he would go to him.

Ah, there went a tree limb crashing through part of the small woods that made up the corners of the city park. Lutana blinked as leaves swirled about them, the gusty winds still going as they walked further along. Was she simply born without a sense of danger? Or did she just want to go ahead and see what awaited them next? Ah...but there were little ones now. Lutana's lips turned into a slight frown as she tapped Siel's shoulder, a spark of warmth jumping from her fingers as a haze of sorts danced across his skin like a small barrier against the wet and cold.

"Matori is nice." Lutana agreed as she caught the gist of his words over the wind. "I'm sure they'll love it there, just be careful of certain areas that might feel over crowded." She teased lightly, thinking the bright beaches and overly blue things might not be her most favored area. She much preferred the darkness of the forest at night, the few rays of starlight coming in from the trees amongst the softly glowing crystals in the deeper jungles her more favorite type of lightning. Though the lanterns on the city streets at night could be fairly intriguing as well with their flickering lights causing the shadows to dance across the paved paths.

"There's a hollowed out tree." Lutana gestured towards the largest of the trees in the park, an ancient survivor who could offer them some shelter. "But if we keep going towards the right we could venture towards the teashop and I could brew you some tea while it storms?" If she was right then this was only the start of something bigger, even the winds seemed intent upon picking up more speed with the larger gusts coming in between seconds of calm and heavier rains.

He couldn't help the way his eyes darted toward the wooded area anymore than he could keep his blood from spiking. In his youth he might have been excited to see it and a part of Siel still was, but also...would he be as excited if his children were out in this? Were they alright? Of course they are, Quiana's with them. But that didn't make him worry about his family any less.

Ah, but then the rain bit into him a little less and there was a warmth? Or not so much a warmth as there was - magic. He turned to her with a worried sort of smile breaking through his concern; as if the dueling parts of his mind were as tempestuous as the storm. "That's where I do my best work though." He slipped into a grin. "But I'll keep that in mind." In truth he wasn't sure how his children would react to over crowded areas, but he didn't want to push them to try.

"Maybe the teashop then? I'd love to see what you can do with Belrean brews."

"That is true, but I'm also very aware that some of your children inherited our abilities to slip through a crowd." Not that she minded young ones venturing out and finding more about the world in their own way, but she had seen how worried Siel and Quiana could look when one of them did disappear for a bit. She wasn't that unaware....at least in regards to her family members. Lutana laughed softly, the noise thankfully covered by the wind as she turned towards the right path and nodded. They could take to the teashop, there would probably be a slew of strangers nestled inside taking shelter from the storm as well that they could interact with. It was always interesting to see what type of conversations bloomed from sheer necessity since they had little else to do while waiting out the heavy rains and gusty winds. Ah, and thunder was crackling above them now as well...it was indeed getting a bit crazier outside.

"We can pick up the pace then." She grinned towards Siel, a hint of mischeviousness dancing across her expression as she gestured for her triplet to follow her. Splashes of water soaked her skirts, the hybrid darting through the rains as she went through the now empty city streets and made her way towards the teashop nestled at the nearby street corner where the wind was already threatening to rip off the shutters that had been hastily closed to try to protect the glass beneath from the storm. Thankfully she had a key and after twisting it a few times in the lock the door swung open, Lutana pressing against it to keep it open for Siel, and the warmth that greeted them inside did indeed reveal a group of strangers huddled together in the center that were determined to wait out the storm. "Deirdre! Are there tables still open in the back?"

"Yes!" Her lightning co-worker yelled, her blue gaze bright with concern. "Close that door quickly though! The storm is getting worse!" Lutana nodded, her gaze going back towards Siel as she waited for him before getting ready to lock up the shop again so that the wind wouldn't blow the door from its hinges.

She had him there. Honestly he was so used to them just scattering about their homeland that he hadn't thought that would be a problem anywhere else. Well...at least they were older than when he did it, so that meant they would be safer, right? Didn't mean he wouldn't be casually waiting by the inn door, though, or taking a super casual stroll through the neighborhood at night.

His singular silver eye darkened under the glow of lightning, but that golden eye, which always carried an aura all it's own, was effervescent. It sparked with that bit of wildness Siel had carried since his youth and despite the weather he found himself looking to the sky, as if his soul could will the lightning to return.

The warmth of the teashop was jarring after being outside for so long. Even before meeting with Lutana he'd taken a walk through the city, so that brief moment of feeling that returned to his skin was nearly foreign. He wasted little time in slipping in, stepping out of the way so his triplet could lock up and in doing so he took in the sights around him.

"Cozy."

"I'm glad you think so." Lutana smiled as she watched the crowd and raised a hand in greeting to some that she did recognize. "It'll have to be with how long this storm might last." There was already a fire in the small fireplace by the main counter, the few lounge chairs there already claimed by some Belreans who had cups of steaming tea in hand. It looked like Deirdre had done her best to make work of the time inside with Marit handling the main counter, the two the only workers here during what they had believed to be a slower afternoon. Shelves and displays of teas and fine dish sets decorated the brick interior of the townhouse turned into a smaller teashop with the larger rooms in the back previously used for dancing and dining turned into little parlors for private events.

"This way." She tugged Siel after her, Lutana weaving through the crowd after Deirdre who was already ahead of them. "There's a fire in the second room and we can have some privacy, hopefully."

"I kept most out. The crowds are mostly in the main lobby and the front parlor." Deirdre called out with a small smile. "Is this your brother?"

"Ah, yes." Lutana smiled towards her co-worker. "Deirdre this is Siel and Siel this is Deirdre. You can have plenty of time to chat and greet each other while I prepare some tea. Try not to tell too many embarrassing stories." The glass doors opened, the wooden floor turning to plush carpet with a long wooden table in the center of the room. Elegant flowers decorated the wallpaper in golds and azure hues with a large china display against the wall with some of their most expensive porcelain dining sets for decoration. The large fireplace crackled with warmth, the fresh fire going strong, and next to it was the doorway leading into the kitchen where Lutana would prepare the tea and snacks for them. "Sit by the fire and dry off, I'll be right back~" She called out, leaving them as she went to work and prepared for an afternoon inside.

Now that he was no longer fighting the air itself, Siel took a moment by the door to wring out his clothes. He tried his best to find a rug and not to wring out too much, lest he soak their floors, but honestly just getting the excess water out of his hair was enough of a blessing.

"Opf!" Pulled from his rug, Siel went along through the crowd, occasionally raising a hand in greeting to those who welcomed his sister. It wasn't the tavern halls he'd grown to love, but in some ways the vibes were still there. That sense of community and love of mutual concepts. Just in a way that better suited his sister instead of himself.

He greeted Dierdre with a warm smile, and once Lutana was out of the room he went about thanking the woman for looking after her. While he knew that his triplet was more than capable having a support network helped, especially in new areas and as someone who'd grown to rely on his extended 'family' Siel could only appreciate the feeling of warmth that came from the tea shop. Of course, that didn't mean he wasn't about to tell some less than savory stories about his sister - they were siblings, after all - but with the storm raging outside what else was he to do?
