It was smoldering today. Aleksi let out a sigh as he continued walking along the beach with Shierra. What was worse? This or dealing with that storm the other day? The mage could only shake his head with amusement. He had only been in Matori for a few days and already things were intent upon keeping him on his toes. What else could happen now that he was supposed to be shopping with Shierra, adjusting to life here while he stayed in the area and figured things out? It's probably best that I don't ask. He thought with a small grin, glancing over at Shierra as they continued forward and Aleksi stayed rarely quiet for once as he enjoyed the moment despite the heat.
