Damodred 1
He had done it! He had left home, left the shadow of a huge family. He would go back one day, maybe but he wanted to live first, to embrace life as an individual and not just someone in a sea of a big family. He loved his family but he craved notoriety, being seen as accomplished not because of who he was related to, but because he had built it with his own bare hands.

Damo was not expecting the sudden appearance of an angry thunderhead cloud. Right about that time he was noting how dark its underbelly was, was about the time that the cloud let forth its precipitous fury.

He was drenched! His furs were droopy and he hated being wet. Gah. He shook himself, got his bearings in the downpour and headed off in search of shelter. Some brave adventurer, they never talked about the rain in the books.

She could feel the air, the charge it had, and I ew a storm was in the mix. Za'liel didn't mind too much. Thunder was calming and lightning was beautiful. It was nature.

So when the first drops made their way down she spun around and danced but as they came more frequently and had more substance she started to laugh and run.

The young talk was playing in the downpour and loving every second of it.

Damodred 2

As he moved through the rain a figure seemed to appear and disappear before him, curious he moved forward but warry of potential bandits he didn't call out. As he got closer he saw that it was a young alkidike absolutely frolicking in the rain. Well he was glad someone liked it. He wished he was that carefree.

Still her dancing seemed to draw him in. It was such a pure form of art and her markings contrasted with her skin and the water around her quite nicely and he loved beauty in all of its forms.

He took a deep breath, best to ask if she knew where some shelter was, even if she didn't look all that interested in seeking it herself.

He approaching slowly and politely waited for her to notice him...then something caught him up, the magic, the rain, whatever. She didn't know him, no one knew him here so he could be anyone. He took a deep breath, and then started to dance alongside her. He wasn't sure what posessed him, perhaps her joy in movement but this was most fun and most unusual.

When the thunder and lightning started she slowed her dancing and it was then that she noticed she had been joined by an earthling. "Hello." She called out as sweetly as she could manage. With a small laugh she paused her dancing to watch them, lightning causing the area to be lit up.

Za'liel took a moment to look up, shielding her eyes from the rain, then looked back down. "It's getting rough out here. Do you have shelter?" She figured she might as well ask just to be sure.

When the dancer stopped he wanted to be self conscious but he did not cave in. Chest heaving from the spirited movements he had done his beast to imitate. He was no expert but he had felt moved nontheless.

"No I'm afraid not, I was looking for shelter myself when I saw you. There must be something around here though."

They wouldn't melt but the rain was driving so hard it was nearly impossible to see, which wasn't exactly the most comfortable thing. He scanned the blurry treeline hoping for a clue as to some shelter further in. A cliffside with an overhang, a large dead tree, something to keep the rain off.

It would be a very long night if no proper shelter could be found, and this was one of the big storms, he felt it in his bones. He had heard from sailors at an Inn that this sort of thing could last for days.

"Come on, we wont find something by standing still." At least he wasn't alone. He had a tall and rather graceful companion.
