She followed him carefully until they were at Destiny city park, eyes widening when she saw him stop and look around, then suddenly he was Ever…But not. He looked like he belonged in a circus? How did his hair grow so fast? He took off again, and she followed him still, hiding behind a tree when she spotted him talking to two other people…Also looking funny. What on Earth?! Did he join the circus or something? Emerging from her hiding place, Ashley called out to Ever in french, “Everest ... .What on earth are you doing?! Why are you dressed like that?!”
Pez didn't want to leave the comfort of Hara’s room but Big Boss wanted her to patrol today so she had to follow instructions. Getting up from her air mattress on the floor, she stretched and made her way to the window. Hara was nowhere in sight so she might be out on patrol too. She thought about getting Ever but figured he would need his beauty sleep so she left him be, seeing that Ash was sound asleep in Hara’s bed, she tried to be as quiet as possible when sneaking out. She was so not expecting Ash to be staring at her, Ever, and Big boss like they’ve all grown a second head. If she was speaking French, that was probably a good thing? Ever did that when he recognized her and Hara so… “Boss…..” She looked to Wither to see what he would do, “That….That’s his older sister….” She swallowed, figuring Ash would have three choices: Corrupt, die, or be youmafied. Hopefully they could do the first maybe? It would be nice to have another friend to patrol with. She didn't think it was a good idea to patrol with Ever for obvious reasons. She was already distracted as it is and he hasn't paid any attention to her.
Everest whipped around hearing his real name to see his sister standing there fussing him out in french. “Great, just great,” he said in french, “now you’ve gone and done it.” He already knew that there was only one way this was going to end. His sister was about to join this night time war they were fighting.
“Brace yourself sis,” he said, “this is going to hurt.” General Wither disappear with a pop and reappeared in front of his sister.
He stepped back to Pez and whispered, “she is not going to like this.”
Wither frowned when the girl came out from behind the tree and sighed, looking to Pez and then to Hatter. How his life was filled with young people, was beyond him. He teleported over to the girl and shook his head, “sorry kid, but this is going to hurt a bit.”
He put his hand into her chest looking for her starseed, remembering when Beni guided him through it with Strengite before pushing chaos into the young woman. He frowned when what he did wasnt working and raised a brow. That was not what was supposed to happen. “This is more difficult than it should be and its not working, must be a senshi.”
He motioning to Pez, “keep her occupied.”
He summoned his crystal and gave Katya a call and then called for a general king.
Katya had been at home, just having returned from spending time with Lorcan, when the call came into her communicator and the mauvian took a moment to look and answer the call. Once she had the information she needed, such as a location and who needed her for what, the mauvian was off to finding Alexandre so the blond could get her over to the park. He was working on something, writing something by hand at the small writing desk in his bedroom. She did feel bad for interrupting him but she also needed to do it - she was needed!
Of course while he was working on a message to one of his family members, Katya decided to interrupt him. “Of course.” Getting up the blond went to scoop the mauvian up into his arms as she took the time to tell him what was going on, because a lot was going on it seemed. “I see.” Nodding his head. The letter could wait, he’d finish it when he got home, it was a letter to an aunt of his who he was looking for advice from.
“Let’s go then.” Powering up he teleported himself and Katya to the park, thankfully it wasn’t far from the signatures he felt, and so he was able to join the group that was already there. Heels clicked and his cape moved about him as he walked with a certain amount of grace and confidence to himself, Katya still held in his arms. He was certain he looked far younger than he was and a lot less intimidating, and dangerous, than he was but that was fine. It helped in a fight when people didn’t take him so seriously…only to find out just how seriously they should take him.
“Witherite.” Nodding his head in greeting. “Katya says you have need of us.”
Pez almost let out a sigh of relief when it seemed like her boss wouldn't be able to corrupt her friend, only to retract that really quickly when he called for the Big Big Boss instead and asked for her to keep Ash busy. What the ******** was she supposed to do? Instead of panicking, the lieutenant made her way over to the pink haired girl, “Hey…..I cant call you by your name anymore but ummm…My actual name starts with an A and ends with an E.” She jerked her thumb over her shoulder, “I know your sibling very well.” Hopefully that would distract her enough.
Ashley was in shock throughout most of this ordeal, finally coming back when the redhead stepped in front of her. “...What?” a name that starts with an A and ends with an E? It took her a moment before a lightbulb went off in her head. But no, not her too?! “R-Really?! You're in on this too?!” Who else did she know that was in on this nighttime life s**t?! Her little sister?! She didn't even notice the smaller male that came through with a cat till she turned around. Oh wow…He was so….small. Ash couldn't help but stare, giving the newcomer a critical once over. “He’s…Cute.” She said it more to herself than anything, wincing when Annie popped her on the arm. “What?!”
Everest frowned when watching Witherite try to corrupt his sister unsuccessfully!?! It was so weird to watch nothing happen. He looked to Wither and frowned, before realizing he remembered, man who corrupted him was stronger wasn't he. “What …,” he started, but Wither gave a few instructions and Pez went to distract his sister. He followed a moment later frowning when Annie gave up her identity.
“Ya know,” he said sighing, “maybe save the reveals for when the presto chango actually works.”
He looked at his sister, “why couldn't you just assume I was going out to ya know.” He motioned to Annie, trying to keep his 18 year old one track mind on the right track. “Ewww Ash, no … just no … they’re like 30, or something.”
Wither looked at Katya and Beni when they made their way to them. “Hey Bossman. Just ran into a little trouble … seems to be a recurring theme with me and the people who come around me.” He pointed to the purple haired corrupt, “Madhatter here had his identity compromised, by his sister. Anyway I tried to corrupt her, just like you taught me, but it didn't work. I called for Katya because I thought maybe she’s a senshi, that can happen right?”
“Would you check Katya, I already called for a general king, but I figure confirming would be best. Plus you know, pen and name.”
Like some disney villain he stood there with Katya in his arms, one hand idly petting the russian blue, he tilted his head after looking over the assembled group. Finally focusing on Witherite he gave him a curious, almost innocent look, before nodding his head slowly. “Mmm, yes. We cannot awaken a senshi’s starseed so it’ll fail for us. Only one with more power than I have can manage it. At least it doesn’t go as poorly as it would if I were to try and rank an officer up.” Because that went very badly, he’d done it before unknowing of the problem it would cause. Instead if he were to try and awaken a senshi’s starseed nothing would happen - which was good. At least they wouldn’t become a youma.
“Good, whoever arrives will handle that.” Nodding his head as he let Katya down onto the ground, bending in order to let her out of his arms, he stood back up. “It looks like you’ve been doing your fair share of recruiting lately.” Stepping closer to the other, it was obvious just how small he really was, against the others here he was tiny and in so many layers of clothing which didn’t help him one bit.
Once her General had set her down Katya nodded her little head to Witherite’s words. “I can tell you now that this one here will make a lovely corrupt.” Already walking towards the only civilian in the group, her tail swaying as she moved, the russian blue was more than happy to rub against the girls leg. “Senshi of guilt…Polonia.” She spoke softly, staring up at the girl.
“Ohhh, you’ll do well - so very well.” She whispered before turning her green eyes onto her posh little general. “So much expansion lately.”
Oh her brother was cute sometimes.
Ashley blinked, looking at the redhead that identified herself as Annie. Well...That made sense, but also none at the same time, it was rather weird. Giving Annie a smile, she looked to her brother, "Because for once, I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt." And that was the only reason. She was not about to think about her brother sneaking out to bang his girlfriend [which she had no doubt happened about 95% of the time], it meant he was currently getting more action than she was, something that really made her cringe on the inside. Step one after all this was done: Find a boyfriend, or a ******** buddy. Step two: Finish school. She would figure out step three and beyond later on in the future. "Also age is nothing but a number little brother." She was allowed her own opinion, he couldn't stop her.
She was about to say something else when the cat jumped down, coming towards her with all the finesse and attitude of a posh grown woman, rubbing up against her leg. Polonia? Senshi? Guilt? What? Looking down Ash squatted to pick up the blue Russian, petting her gently, "What are you talking about?" She looked to the group, "I'm not hallucinating am I? She did just talk right?" Maybe she was just too sleepy and this was all some weird sleep walking dream...
Pezz rolled her eyes at her boyfriend, shrugging, "Does it matter? Presto chango was going to happen one way or another, might as well get it over with." She did reach over to softly punch her boyfriend in the arm, "What if your YOUNGER sister heard that? You know we're BOTH still grounded...." The tongue lashing her mother gave her was not fun. Granted her father and stepmother seemed the most chill about it. But that just seemed like it was because she was 18 and they gave her the space she needed as an adult. Her father did tease her about it and only half threatened Hatter when he stopped by, only saying he didn't want suspicious stains on any of his game room furniture. Well it was a bit too late for that but as long as there was no blacklight used they would be in the clear.
When was their other guest coming? She wanted to see what her boyfriend's older sister looked like.
Wither gave Beni a look, raising a brow, “duly noted.” He had no intention on trying to promote anyone. He figured there was a reason why it wasn’t something Beni could do not that he really thought about it.
He looked at his communicator when he got a confirmation that someone was on their way and made sure they had the coordinates.
He watched Katya head over to the girl, “recruiting not really. Pez was assigned to me, Hatter is Pez’s boyfriend so I've seen a lot of him of late, but I'm not sure who's in charge of him. Hatter sister will only be the second person I've pulled in, but considering how chill she is right now, I'm guessing she’ll work out okay.”
“Polonia, huh?” He gave a small smirks. “The teams continues to grow Bossman, how many is it now?” A rhetorical question more speaking aloud than anything.
Hatter frowned at his sister but sighed because this was really the best outcome. His sister was calm and seemingly willing despite the failed corruption. He frowned at both his sister and his girlfriend. He did not need another person trying to boss him around. He looked two the two general and felt a little nervous. “Think it will be much longer, we're bound to draw attention to ourselves if we continue to stand around here.”
He wondered if It would be the same general King that corrupted him. He was being paranoid and the pair of general were surely capable, but that didn't make him worry less.
“Yes cats talk, or well the one with the stars do. You get use to it, but no your not hallucinating,” he said not looking at Wither And Beni.
Watching Katya the ashen blond wasn’t surprised at Katya’s behavior, she liked attention and would take it from anyone she could gain it from, so had a thing for chaos senshi and the faction didn’t much matter to the Russian blue. “I see, so no one you’ve brought in on your own. I’ve brought someone new in recently.” His own cousin, someone who knew him better than most could ever hope to know him. “I think they’ll make a very good officer, especially once they’ve had more time and experience.” He had a feeling his cousin would be feared by order; in time.
Tilting his head a bit he smiled softly. “Anyone senshi or knight who decides to come for us would find themselves in more trouble than they could handle. It would be most unwise of them to turn up here tonight.” They would wind up dead and quickly, if not by his hand than by Witherite’s. It might not be something the others here were up for, the blood and violence and death, but he knew the other General could handle things and his own weapon had no problem drawing blood from order and those who served it.
“I suspect the general king will be here any moment; however, they don’t like wasting time on such things.” And risking order coming upon the new person, and claiming them instead. He was sure they’d arrive quickly and he did wonder just who it would be that turned up.
Beni would get his answer in the form of Lepidolite with all his boisterousness and professionalism of none. Polo’s corruption was done swiftly and effectively, but that didn't mean she was without pain during the process. By the time everything was all said and done, the new senshi was out of breath and shaking. Lepidolite made sure to point out that Katya could help her out with all the newbie stuff, assigning her to wither for reporting. Once his job was done, he congratulated her on joining the right side before taking off. Polo on the other hand was more than annoyed, in pain and really just wanted to go home at this point. Instead of waiting for anything, she started walking back towards her siblings house accompanied by Pezz and hopefully her siblings as well. There would need to be a lot to discuss.
