 Swift was sitting in the forest watching the snow fall, he looked out at the melting lake, very bored. He fluttered his wings to get the snow off of them. He was so bored and had nothing to do, what could he do? He needed friends, but since he was different, no one would give him the time of day to get to know him. He got upset and flew off with closed eyes, he flew as fast as he could until he smashed into something in the sky, and now was plummeting to the lake, but was not alone as he heard another scream as they fell towards the icy cold water.

Pixi didn't know what hit her, but now knew she was going into the lake and she couldn't swim! "Help meeeeeee!" Sploosh she hit the water and she tried to swim, but couldn't, she tried hard, she realised there was another with her, it was a male, he black, but that is all she got from what she had seen before she started to sink. She reached a paw into the air but no one was going to save her, she was doomed to drown. Tears filled her eyes and she just wish this never had happened, why did he fly into her? why had she not noticed? Itr doesn't matter, it's too late now.

Swift could swim, but it was so cold, he landed into the lake, but stayed afloat, he shook his head then saw the other sinking. He dived down, grabbed her and carried her to the surface, she was shaking even more then him. "Breath! Breath!"

She heard the male ordering her to breath so she did, but it was too cold, it was hard to breath. "I-I can't move." She cried, she couldn't even open her eyes, she took short small breaths. She was all stiff, and going numb. "HELP ME!!" She screamed at him.

He felt so bad for her, she was panicking, he placed her onto his back and swam towards the land, which was now covered in a layer of new snow. "Calm down, I can swim and I AM saving you, just calm down. I wont let you sink. He said then felt bad he caused her this trauma, but maybe she wont hate him for flying recklessly. He reached the land and helped her out. "There, come with me to my den, its nice and warm." He smiled at her.

She coughed and began to take deep breaths, she looked up at him. "Why did you fly into me? We both could have died! Why should I trust you? You almost killed me!" She began to cry. "How could you?" She ran from him, trying to get as far away from him as she could. He tried to kill her, he couldn't be trusted could he? Wait, what if it was an accident? She stopped, her wings were wet and hurt, she could not fly, then sighed. "I will go, only to warm up and dry off." But you better not hurt me!"

"Why would I hurt you? You think I could hurt you?" He looked at her sadly. He just saved her, why would he want to hurt her? "I promise I will not hurt you!" He placed his paw over his heart and crossed it. "I will never hurt you, I don't like hurting others, I feel bad as it is."

"How far is it? I'm FREEZING my wings off!" She came back to him, and noticed he was pretty fancy looking. swirls and pretty wings, though the two of them looked like drowned rats.

"See that hill over there? That's my den, nice and warm." He smiled and walked towards it, he was excited to show his hard work. No one ever came to visit him, he was so lonely. He led the way to his den, with a smile and excited to make a new friend. He realised how pretty this girl was, she was adorable.

"G-g-good, im so cold" She looked at the guys face, he was very handsome, maybe he will become my friend? she had no friends. She was so lonely, but even flying can't take her troubles away. She was so glad he didn't notice she was crying before they crashed into her. That would be even more embarrassing.

They reached a hill with a hole he had dug out covered by dried grass. He moved the grass to show the hole he dug. "Hurry, get in, before you freeze to death. Don't worry, it's nice and warm inside." He smiled proudly at how well he made his home.

"Oh thank the Gods!" She walked into the hole and after she went through the tunnel, inside there was a bookshelf and a giant bed of what looked like straw covered in a big comfy blanket covering the bed, and another comfy blanket unmade on top of the bed, with several pillows that looked like heaven to her. She jumped onto the bed and covered herself and rested her head on the pillows. "Wow this is so nice!" She exclaimed.

"Yea, my mothers made me those, they are so nice." He smiled and shivered, he was so cold, but didn't want her to be scared to join her. "He sat down next to the bed, visibly shaking, but happy she was comfy and warming up.

She turned her head to look at the guy, he was still shaking and looked freezing. She lifted the blanket. "You can come in if you want, it's so nice and warm, please, come join me." She smiled and patted the bed. She knows this might seem creepy, but it was his bed, he should be able to lay in his own bed.

"Are you sure?" He felt bad but he was so cold, so he climbed into the bed and put the blanket over him and laid down, he was laying faced towards her and his body was touching hers. He blushed. He felt the warmth from the bed and from the girl. He couldn't lie to himself, this was nice. He smiled at the girl, their faces were close to each other.
