It was late in the evening and the twins had already retired to their rooms after a crazy day of helping him with a few of the new animals that he had been working with. Lynx had brought the three Perzi home and housed them in the stables beside the house so that he could get more hands on training with them for the client. Of course the twins had thought them to be cute and wanted to help and he didn't mind. It meant the beasts would have experience with children. Now things had settled and the beasts were all locked up for the night. He'd washed up as well and made his way through the house in search of his mate. Lynx figured he could spend a bit of time with her before they turned in for the night. Not to mention he had something to discuss with her. "Teiluj?" He called out gently to gain her attention. "Love. Would you like to join me out on the porch?" The weather was nice and the air had cooled since the sun had set

As was the normal behavior for Teiluj, books were strewn about the table and soft chair the monk was lounging on. Another book in her hands with a fully grown Loatoa curled up in her lap. The twins were now in their rooms for the night and Teiluj found it was the best time to study up on some of her healing skills. In order to help Lynx with his work in animal taming, Teiluj had taken up a complimentary study with animals. Giving her the ability to tend to the various creatures he trained. In turn she was able to open her own animal clinic, and with alot of hard work was able to bring in a boon of income for her family.
In her spare time she had been using it to teach the twins as much education as she could possibly get into them. Doing her best to prepare them for a bright future. Very little time had been left to spend with Lynx and in ways, she terribly missed him with their busy life. She knew better than to bother him for attention though and so when he had called for her to join him. A small unease entered her mind. "Alright," Teiluj responded. Closing the book gently and shifting the sleeping Loatoa off her lap. Hearing the creatures protests as he was disturbed.
Stretching so her back cracked in a few places, Teiluj stood up, smoothed out her hair. Pale eyes shifted in her partners direction. Taking a deep breath she moved towards the front door, crossing her arms and leaning against the door frame. Closing her eyes and relishing the soft breeze as it brushed against her skin. Cooling her from the heat of the day.
A smile played across her lips. This was a feeling she loved. Though she was apt to admit, she liked it in Matori far better than she did here in Oba. The weather was nicer, the temperature was easier to escape with the ocean water. Not that she busied herself with spending time in it. Not after the strange pollen had fallen. She had grown to love her changes. And did not want to go through another change. Or risk the potential of the changes reverting back to her old self. She was new, and she loved herself just the way she was. She loved her life, her family, and the family she had come to call her own.
"I'll never get enough of the way the wind feels after the sun sets." Teiluj mused happily.

When she joined him outside he watched her enjoy the breeze for what it was. A breath of fresh air after a hot day. Lynx understood the weather was much more harsh in Oba but there was beauty in it. Plus, he tended to get more business in the larger city than he did in the more subdued areas of Matori. While his mother had decided on the more tropical climate he chose to stay in the hotter location where his Uncle and Grandmother were. "It is nice once the sun sets." He agreed with her. The silver eyed male went over to Teiluj and reached up with both hands to cup her face, his rough thumbs rubbing over her cheeks as gently as they could. "Even better since your beauty really stands out then." Once dusk came Tei's lighter complexion made her more striking than those with a darker tone, like him. "How was your day?" He was curious to see how the day had gone for her as it would set the mood for what he had in mind.

The monk watched the mans approach her features softening further as she regarded him. Her eyes wandered up and down his frame. He was still the most attractive man she knew, no matter how much time she spent with him. He still captured every aspect of her heart. When he approached, Teiluj closed her eyes with a soft smile. Enjoying the physical contact against her skin. Chuckling at his small flattery, she opened her eyes again. "No one is ever going to be as amazing as you in my eyes."
Reaching up she brushed her hands over his. She wasn't at all surprised by the question of her day. Sucking in a deep breath of air as she contemplated the various moments of the day Teiluj chuckled again. "Come now, you've been here today. That alone makes my day wonderful. The twins are growing up quickly, I feel that we've done an amazing job in getting them started in life." Teiluj mused proud of the achievements she and Lynx should boast about together. "How was your day? Is something on your mind?"

A half smile lit his lips as she mentioned him being amazing. Lynx would never get used to such words. He always thought of himself as average at best. When she answered his question about her day he chuckled, a deep sound that seemed to rumble in his chest. "Alright, that's fair. I have been here but that doesn't mean I know how you feel "
The return question was common so he nodded his head. "Something is on my mind." He confirmed as he looked her over. Lynx figured it had been long enough, their lives together were well obtained and Teiluj was going nowhere. "It's something important."

"Oh," Teiluj's voice lowered with concern. "That can't be good. If it's troubling you, maybe I can help. Does it have something to do with the training? An animal you aren't sure you could train? Or an injury?" While Teiluj may have listed off the first possible situations off the top of her head. Her mind continued to spin with even more problems. Whatever was on his mind she was sure he would eventually tell her.
She didn't really want to pry it out of him if discretion was required, she knew sometimes some clients wanted the interactions kept private. She was happy to give the distance. Completely trusting that Lynx's loyalty was to his family in the end and that he wouldn't do anything to shake up their trust in him.
She leaned in to give him a soft quick peck on his cheek. "Not that it matters, whatever it is. I'm just here if you need me, you know that." A very coy smile played on her lips as another possibility crossed her mind. Leaning closer to his ear so only he could hear. "Unless you need a little de-stressing." Her voice low and seductive with the insinuation lingering in the air.

He shook his head at her. While he was impressed with her line of thinking. Had there been a beast he needed a softer hand for them he would have sought her out. While he did pride himself on being good with most beasts even he understood that the more gentle beasts tended to like a softer hand.
"Nothing like that.." Though he was intrigued by her tone and offer for de-stressing. Lynx bought his thumb over to trace over her bottom lip. "Keep that thought.. I will gladly take you up on that."
It was taking all he had not to accept that offer now rather than wait. "I was thinking more like I need to fix something."

Closing her eyes at the feel of his rougher skin over her lip Teiluj let out a soft sigh. Partially hearing his words in her ear, her head slowly moving down just enough to kiss him on the side of his neck. Pulling back at the mention of needing to fix something.
She blinked a few times. Uncertain of just what her mate was referring to. Had a beast broken another fence? And his mind was on the cost of repairs? No, it couldn't be that, he had never shown any inclination over the cost of things before. Giving Lynx a puzzled look she thought over the years they had been together, there really wasn't anything she could think of that really needed fixing. Unless he was referring to that terrible mystic. But she was sure they were both well past that by now.
Leaning back into the door frame. Teiluj gave her man a soft look, reaching up to brush back some strands of his hair from his face. "Whatever it is my love, I'm here with you. Anything I can do to help I will."

The kiss caused him to close his eyes for a second, the contact sending a small shiver through him. Teiluj was always affectionate and he both loved it and returned it. When he opened his eyes again he watched her face to see if she understood his vague reference. When it was clear his surprise had not been spoiled he smiled.
"Mhm. I know.." Lynx moved his hands so that he could trail them down his mates arms until he captured her hands. Once he had them he brought them up so he could place a kiss first to the back of her right hand then her left. "Which is why I'd like to ask you if you'd accept me as your husband and not just a boyfriend and lover." He'd told her early on that he hadn't been in a hurry to marry but he felt now was the time.

Teiluj stood frozen in place. Her eyes widening at the question. That was certainly not something she was anticipating, the subject of marriage had only really come up one other time while their children where only toddlers playing in the sand. Not the teenage trouble they were now.
Her face didn't deny any happiness as it burned within her. Elated with the question Lynx had asked. Her heart pounded steady and fast within her chest. There had been so many scenarios in her head, none of them had Lynx proposing to her in them.
"Oh Lynx," She giggled. "You're already that man to me. You have been far longer than our twins have been alive." Her smile grew, pressing her body up against his. Her lips catching his, her arms wrapping up and around his neck. "As if you even needed to ask me."
Tilting her head back contemplatively Teiluj continued to smile. "Was this the problem that needed fixing?"

Hearing that he practically held the title already made him grin. At least he knew that her heart was truly with him. Though he'd never really had any doubt as to that all these years. When she brought them closer and kissed him he returned the affection as he wrapped his arms around her thin waist. Lynx smiled at her when Tei mentioned that he didn't need to ask. "I will always ask you what you want." He leaned forward and tilted his head so that he could nuzzle against her neck. "Mhm." His response came out more like a purr since it was muffled against her skin. "It was a problem." He pulled back just enough to get words out, his breath going across her neck as he shifted to speak lowly just below her ear. "I fixed it." Lynx placed a kiss to her jaw as his hold on her got just a bit tighter. "There is another problem though."

"Another problem." Teiluj's body stiffened a bit. Lynx was always full of surprises, and lately had been ones she couldn't predict. He wasn't pulling a good news to lessen the blow of bad news was he? Raising an eyebrow at Lynx Teiluj's lips cocked to one side. "If this is about Vaehaery's rather feminine nature. I don't think it's something we really need to worry about. He is a sturdy boy, and his sister is growing into somewhat of a looker herself. She's even prettier than I am. If you can believe it." Maybe that's where he was going with this, and another reason he may have waited till their children had retired to their own rooms for the night. She sighed listlessly. It wouldn't be much longer before they started striking out on their own. She didn't want to bear the thought of not having children around.

He paused to think about what she said. Their son was rather on the feminine side but he didn't see a problem with that. And he was fairly sure Zybilna would be able to hold her own. He smiled at the thought and shook his head. "Those aren't problems." At least he didn't see them that way.
"I was thinking more along the lines of.. you promised me all the children I wanted." He dramatically looked around them. "I see a very noticeable lack of children." He brought his eyes back to her and raised a brow, waiting to see what she said.

Immediately flustered, Teiluj bit her lower lip playfully. "Not that we haven't been trying, if I recall a special someone made the decision that waiting till these twins were well old enough to fend for themselves before adding any more to the family." She was teasing him in return. A sudden glee dancing about her frame.
He was referencing more children, and now was the perfect time for them to go about enlarging their small family. She had done well the first time around and was certain that she would be doing just as well if not better this time around. Her twins had such contrasting personalities she was eager to see what more of their children would look like.
"It's about time we start adding more to this house. Especially since it's about to get so quiet around here. I don't think I could take it if they leave so soon."

He did recall that he said that waiting for the twins to get older might be for the best. Mainly it gave them a chance to be kids with their parents full attention before siblings invaded. As much as he loved his siblings he remembered there never being a dull moment once they were born.
"Mm, fair.. but I'd say it's time we tried for more." And she had a point. The house would soon be a lot quieter with the twins getting older and being out more. He wasn't used to quiet.
