Arseno continued to look at the civilian, attempting to see if he could see anything special about her. She was old enough that she could be corrupted at least, but he wasn't sure if there was anything else. Of course, bringing in as many people to the Negaverse was always a good idea, but there were two things that were keeping him from just going up to her and attempting to do so.
The first was that he would do no forced corruptions. Perhaps he never would have joined the Negaverse at first if he had been allowed to enter of his own free will, but having the choice taken away from him anyway had never sat with him right, even if Benitoite had become a good friend. They also had a recent problem of quite a few corrupted individuals being purified. Or at least they had gone missing. He had heard both reasons. If they were forcibly corrupted, then if they heard they could get out of all of it, they wouldn't pass up the chance.
The second was he didn't feel as though just anyone and everyone should come into the Negaverse. Not everyone could be a part of a "militaristic" group that had so many rules and limitations and possibly didn't like being ordered around. And he felt if they weren't good at fighting, they needed something else to be of benefit to the Negaverse.
So he continued to watch for a few more moments, deciding on whether or not to present himself.
