Fresh-fallen snow coats Destiny City. It’s pristine and crisp, and it crunches as you walk through it. It may be a few inches deep, but it doesn’t seem to go above your calves when walking. At first, it’s easy enough to walk through, but gradually you realize that it’s getting harder to move. Every step you take feels like the snow is pulling you back in, and if you get a good look you might realize that sticky white fluff is clinging to you. The more you walk, the more it pulls, until you’re almost completely stuck. Something about the snow smells oddly sweet, and the tacky, marshmallow-like snow seems like it’s suddenly become a prison. The more you try to break free, the stickier it gets, and you’d better hope you don’t fall down. The more you struggle the harder it is to escape, but if you manage to stay still for a few minutes, the marshmallow will freeze and crystallize. When you move again, the snow will turn into a powdery dust and you can break free easily. The only good thing about this is that you won’t starve if you get trapped–the snow tastes just like marshmallows.

Thea wasn't sure how she felt about all this snow lately. She has been practicing a lot more lately at her family's gym. She felt as if her techniques weren't quite where she wanted them. It wasn't her strength that was the problem since she was definitely strong enough. Just her boxing moves seemed off. Thea couldn't help but wonder if the snowy environment was affecting her footwork and stability in the ring. The slippery ground and the resistance of the snow with each step might be throwing off her balance and making it harder for her to execute her boxing moves with precision. While she didn't practice outside much, the walk to the gym really took a toll on her. Her house was quite a distance away and she found herself slipping and falling every time she walked there. Maybe the snow was psyching her out? Or was it the direction she was taking to the gym? It had to be something! So today she decided to take a chance, and so she took a different route to the gym. She figured maybe switching up her routine could make all the difference in her boxing performance during this cold weather. By taking a different route to the gym, Thea hoped to avoid the slippery and sticky snow that had been affecting her footwork. She believed that a route with less snow accumulation and a smoother surface would allow her to maintain better balance and execute her boxing moves with more precision.

The only thing was that the more she walked on this new path, the more every step felt like the snow was pulling her back in. It was the snow that was a resistance belt - that refused to recognize her strength. She felt like the snow was taunting her, like look if you can't beat me how will you ever improve your boxing?

Thea found herself torn between the enchanting beauty of the snowfall and the treacherous grip it had on her. She couldn't deny the allure of the pristine landscape and the sweet taste of the snow, but the fear of being trapped and the struggle to break free left her uncertain about her feelings towards the winter wonderland. Part of her felt like it was a sign and she felt herself just stop struggling. She had just decided to just allow this prison to hold her captive. Maybe by doing that she could show herself that strength wasn't all that was important. Also having a calm mind was also important. She took a few breaths in and out, and to her surprise she saw the snow prison respond. The sticky marshmellow like snow was freezing, crystallizing, and falling away piece by tiny piece.

As the snow prison slowly fell away into the wind, Thea could feel a sense of liberation. The once treacherous and taunting grip of the snow transformed into a gentle, powdery landscape. Each minute piece of frozen snowflake became a symbol of her resilience and determination, reminding her that even in the face of adversity, she had the power to break free and create her own path. Maybe her strength wasn't because of the weather. Maybe her mind was telling her it was okay to just take a day. After all she had been practicing boxing day after day with not a stop in sight. She realized that the power of her own strength was within her all along and that she didn't have to wait for the snow to melt in order to break free from her struggles. She realized that she had the power to take charge of her life and create her own destiny no matter what obstacles she faced.

Today though she needed to rest - well that and she needed a shower since after that snow she felt super sticky. Almost like how someone feels if they touch the marshmellow on a smore. She decided to take a shower and relax while the water soothed her tired muscles. She was relieved to finally be able to feel clean and refreshed. The warm water had relaxed her muscles, and the feeling of being clean had washed away the stress and anxiety from the earlier events. The soothing sounds of the shower and the calming scent of her body wash had also helped to relax her. The combination of all these things had helped her to drift off to sleep. After her shower, she curled up in her bed and drifted off to sleep. A sleep so peaceful she didn't even dream. It was just black. Which was okay for her, since she needed her mind to be clear. Since if her mind wasn't clear she could never reach her goal of being an amazing female boxing champ. She was determined to reach her goal and she was willing to do whatever it takes to get there. She was determined to succeed and she was willing to put in the hard work. She went to sleep with a positive mindset and high hopes for her future.

She woke up feeling energized and ready to start the day. She smiled, thankful for the break and the realization that she had made it to another day. She stretched her arms and took a deep breath. She knew she had to be productive, so she quickly got out of bed and began her morning routine. She was ready to take on the day! She grabbed a cup of coffee, put some creamer in it, grabbed her boxing bag, and headed out the door. Her next stop was her family's gym where she planned to only do basic exercises too. She wanted to allow her mind and body time to focus. As she headed towards the gym she noticed that after this experience with the snow. She didn't slip or fall on her usual path to the gym. She was proud of her newfound balance and coordination, and was ready to begin her workout.
