After getting Iexa something to eat so that his stomach would quiet down, she dragged him along back to the beach. She wanted to spend time on the shore. Mostly she was waiting for the sun to set so she could have a nice sea side walk on the beach with him.
Sarnai didn't wait for him to get the courage either, she grabbed him by the hand and drug him along. "Walk with me." Was all she said to him as she pulled him in one direction. "I want to spend more time with you." If she was lucky then he'd get the hint, if not then she would have to tell him plainly what she meant by that.

With the edge off his savage hunger he was more then amiable to a bit of a beach stroll. She was herself and yet more and he was still trying to figure it out.
Something important had likely not occurred to his lizard brain yet, but in his heart and soul he sense a change and felt a lightness of heart that had eluded him for a very long time.
She seemed less hesitant to drag him around that was for sure. His pulse quickened a bit, wondering what she had in mind, a nice walk, jog, swim? He was along for the ride wherever it may lead just as he had always been.
He inhaled sharply as she said she wanted to spend more time with him, not that they hadn't nearly been constantly around each other. The beast tamer in him saw the switch in behavior and was slowly crunching it out, though it would have been easier had she been say a snaptrotter, people were a lot more complicated.
The beach was beautiful the waves pulled at the shore insistantly.
"Of course."

She looked at him for a response to her words. While there was one it wasn't the one she was looking for. So once again the shifter had to roll her eyes at him. Stars above she did adore the Fluffball. "Iexa.. you troublesome man.." She changed her tone to be a bit too sweet. "Do you have any idea what I mean?" Sarnai had learned early on that she might as well be direct with him. While he could read the slightest movements on a beast he was not so perceptive when it came to people. "I know we never officially came out and said it but.. I'd like to officially date you." There, she'd said it. So now there would be no misunderstandings about whether or not they were together.

His eyes widened at the sweeter tones, usually that was what happened when she was annoyed and going to yank on his hair, his precious precious hair. He swallowed. "No, not really." He said truthfully. Everything in him stalled after her next words, his brain his heart, his endocrine system he was sure. He was surprised his nervous system didn't and leave him twitching right there on the sand. He had held back most of his feelings for so long that when the opportunity had arisen through stealthy female looks he hadn't even recognized it for what it was. A pre mating dance. He blinked and pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her. "AHHHHH, you have made me so happy!"

That was more like the reaction she'd been expecting from him. The goof ball. She pushed against him as though she were trying to escape but she was laughing at the same time. "And you are going to make me deaf!" She lightly slapped his shoulder as she looked at him. "Calm down. I'm just officially saying that you belong to me is all." The shifter spoke as though it was a common thing, nothing to be so excited over. Despite her tone and easy speech she was grinning at him.

"The world shall know of my joy!" He crowed to the setting sun like a very very late rooster. "Gladly." His eyes locked on hers and for the first time the predator hiding there lurked and flashed out. "I belong to you," he kissed her on the mouth, not too long but with all of the pent up emotions that he had finally let out of Pandoras box in his mind and more importantly his heart. "Kindly we will shut the world out for a bit aye? Is there anywhere you want to go to ...spend more time with me?" He grinned devilishly, just so thrilled at what was happening now in this most precious moment in time. "You have made me so happy."

She snorted a little as he reminded her of a rooster cawing at the sun. Only it was setting and not rising. The kiss took her off guard and only made her laugh once the shock passed. She once again gently smacked him on the shoulder. "Mhm.. I intend to spend a lot of time with you. I'd like to give this a proper go.." She motioned to the space between them. The two of them had been toying around with a relationship for a while but now it would get their full attention. Sarnai smiled at him. "Hm, what about a trip?" They could always go sight seeing somewhere.

"A trip sounds good, I don't know where the safer places are for you so I think maybe you should choose our destination, I like travel, near, far or over yonder." There were always new critters and bugs to see and that was important to him too. Travel brought spirits alive, at least for him as his travel had always been rather pleasant experiences. "I'd like to give this a proper go too." In fact nothing else in the world would delight him better.."Is this sort of what you meant when you mentioned my children?" Wow he really was dense sometimes. Lynx would have figured it out right away, but as Iexa had been burying the brunt of his relationshipal feelings due to her request he had skimmed right over her meaning. "Not being pushy." He wanted to experience a real relationship for a while first most definitely.

Despite the fact that she had a shady past she had used a disguise so she didn't think they needed to worry about her being seen in public. Still, she did think she might like to see the lands across the oceans. "What about Yael or Belrea?" Sarnai gave a soft snort at Iexa figuring things out. "Well, yes.. I mean it won't be for a while but.. I do intend to stay with you until we're old, so children would be a part of it." Eventually. For now she would enjoy her time with him and drag him across the world. Since she was free to see things without a threat looming in the background she wanted to do that.

"I had honestly been thinking of Yael myself, it seems quite interesting and mystical with the fancy plants and the slightly poisonous air. Plus everything is purple, what could be wrong with that?" He grinned. He liked purple, he was thinking about getting a purple waist sash..now that his darn crystals were that color he thought it might look nice to use a royal purple sash. "I think it would be a very cool place to check out. I can see if Kechiri is making an escort run out that way at some point if you would like, it would be more cost effective maybe than bartering regular passage." His heart skipped a beat and she earned herself yet another kiss. "I am so happy right now, I don't think I have ever been this happy and I have lead a rather charmed life thus far."

Yael it was. Sarnai hadn't been there yet so it would be interesting to go and not have to smuggle something or someone into or out of the area. "Nothing wrong with that." She might come to like purple very much. Considering the color was on her now boyfriend it would definitely be a color she saw often. "If that's how you'd like to travel." She lifted her shoulders up in a shrug. Sarnai had no issues with paying for passage. The shifter had yet to tell him that she had quite a bit of coin to her name. It paid off to work as much as she had. With another kiss she chuckled and shook her head at him. "If I had known mentioning kids would make you this happy I'd have done it sooner."

He looked at her slyly. "No you wouldn't have, not until you had your business sorted. That is something I understand and approve of. You are a very strong woman and very intelligent. Make no mistake I am very proud to be your boyfriend and the future father of your children. You are the best woman there could ever be for me." He winked. Hopefully the wink would lighten the words a bit. He wasn't always dense, and now that she had let him in, there would be fewer barriers and less chances of him putting his foot in his mouth. "I am excited for Yael. It is supposedly pretty in a different way than Jauhar or Matori."

Well he had her there. She really wouldn't have brought up children until she knew she was free. Or at least not the idea of having any herself. Sarnai wouldn't want any child of hers to be stuck the way she had been. His wink only made her smile at him. "Sorry it took me so long. I wanted to make sure I didn't have anything too dangerous following me." How would she feel if she'd gotten him hurt? It wasn't something she wanted to think about. "Well, we better get packing. I'd like to go soon if that's alright with you." Sar was excited to see new sights and also put some distance between herself and the mainland for a bit. Maybe if she was out of the game for a while then others would forget about her.

"Don't apologize, and don't worry I can take care of myself too. Besides, new problems are ours to deal with. Though I do understand why you took that on alone. Not many people could." He was skilled in self defense and enemy detection, one didn't grow up in a family of nuts, daughter of a weaponsmith and a thief without learning how to defend one self. "At least your sister doesnt' shoot fireballs at your head." He grinned. "I can be ready very quickly just give me about 20 minutes to pack and we can be off. I am very excited, it sounds like a magical place and finally you are free to actually enjoy it." He felt a lightness in his heart that hadn't been there for a long time.

"Are you sure you can? I remember pinning you to a tree with a knife first time we met." Sarnai giggled at the memory. Of course back then she'd had to be ruthless with him because she wasn't sure if he was someone they had sent after her or not. "Sorry about that by the way." To his comment about his sister.. well, she didn't have any siblings. Her parents had died before they could have any more children. "I don't have siblings but I may have a cousin or two out there." She shrugged her shoulders. It was very possible that a cousin was floating around in the Jauhar jungle. Or even somewhere else if they traveled like she did. "Alright. Better get to packing. I'm already done." Which wasn't far from the truth since she really didn't have much. The shifter woman already had everything ready to go at a moments notice. She gave him a grin to show she was being playful.
