Quote: Prompt 4 (Snowbunnies): Winter seems to bring out the cutest of all rodents; this isn’t the first time that small, white rabbits have infested Destiny City. They’re small, rarely larger than a guinea pig, and have large eyes and wiggling noses. They are always pure white and seem to show up whenever there’s snow. They aren't menacing or evil, they're just everywhere. They seem strangely domesticated; they are sweet, curious, and friendly creatures that will eat anything you give them. They always seem cold to the touch, and when they shake, little snowflakes sprinkle off of them. While they seem to be social creatures who seem to appreciate anything warm and will cuddle up to steal body heat, they are too skittish and fast to be kept for pets. They can show up just about anywhere, either alone or--often--in pairs. They tend to wander off on their own without any trouble, but if you surprise them or try to catch or hurt them, they may bite. Their little teeth are enough to break skin, but after one bite they run away. The bite itself isn’t bad, but the effects are a bit unpleasant: for roughly two days after the bite, the injury is cold and the victim will feel random, cold, shooting pains. Their core body temperature will drop and they will often be sent into random fits of shivering. No medicine seems to help, and no amount of blankets or hot baths can soothe the chill. You're just going to have to deal with it and hope it gets better… Most experiences with the bunnies are perfectly pleasant, you just have to worry about them burrowing. There are holes peppering Destiny City, and with the fresh fallen snow it can be impossible to tell where they are hiding. The holes range from small holes to several feet deep, so can be a minor inconvenience to a potential hazard. On the bright side, sometimes you wind up covered in bunnies looking for warmth from their sudden guest. On the other hand, there are a rising number of trips to the hospital for twists and sprains. The bunnies always leave with the snow, so best to enjoy them--or avoid them--for as long as you can.

 Mabella was out doing her thing, she was a brave sort so she wasn't really worried about being out by herself she liked patroling and she liked exploring. She had heard about the snow bunnies and she wanted to see them for herself. She wasn't disappointed. She said down and they came right up to her to cuddle and she was so pleased but she was kinda stuck once she sat down covered in a bunch of snow bunnies. She wasn't really worried about it right now. She was comfortable and sharing warmth with the fuzzy rabbits was helping to keep her even warmer in the chilly weather.

Stribor was loving life on Earth so far. Sure, it was likely mostly luck that kept him from running into fights, but he didn't mind. He liked it being rather peaceful. Not having to fight much so far. Other than that crazy lizard incident, he supposed. At least this rabbit infestation seemed rather harmless. Other than, of course, the hidden burrows that kept surprising him. He'd break an ankle soon if he wasn't careful, gently thumping the earth with his feet to warn the rabbits beneath he was here, just in case. Better a sore ankle from too much thumping over a twisted one because he missed a burrow. Then he realized he saw a pile of them around a child? That was a chibi aura he was feeling, he realized, stepping closer. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking over her. They didn't seem like vicious rabbits, but still. She could have wanted to get up but felt too fearful of the fuzzy things.

Mabella smiled at the figure who asked if she was alright, "Oh yes I am fine." She said with a laugh. "When I do want to get up, it might be trouble, I don't think these snow bunnies seem to like warmth and cuddles and their fur is soft and fluffy so it's rather nice to cuddle them." She said with a grin. "I'm Mabella and you might you be?" She asked curiously looking them over. She saw his bunny ears and she tilted her head to the side. She sensed his energy but she was a little confused they seemed like a senshi like her, but what was with the bunny ears. She had never seen a senshi with bunny ears before. She frowned and debated with herself if it was rude to ask about the bunny ears, like was it part of their outfit or something? She was the senshi of Ermines after all. So it wasn't silly to think others would have outfits reflecting their senshi form. "Umm.." She stoped and started again. "I gotta know what's with the bunny ears? Are you the senshi of bunnies?" She asked.

Stribor nodded, ears twitching as he looked at the bunnies curiously. They seemed to enjoy snuggling for warmth, at least. As long as they didn't get violent, especially with a child, he'd be happy enough. He knelt on one knee next to her in the snow and thumped his foot gently a few times to indicate playtime, if any of the rabbits wanted to partake. One did indeed leave the pile of fluff to pounce playfully on his foot and he shuffled it around in the snow with a happy laugh. "What's with my bunny ears?" He tilted his head at her, twitching them. "Why, they're my ears, of course! No, I'm not the Senshi of Bunnies. I'm the Senshi of Gentleness." He grinned at her.

Mabella smiled "Ooo that is amazing, I've never met anyone with bunny ears.. you aren't a youma.. so I'm a bit confused why do you have animal features? You don't feel like a choas member at all." She tilted her head to the side and tried to get up out of her pile of rabbits. She was having trouble since they didn't want there warmth to get away from them. "Umm, could you give me a hand?" She said reaching out of her bunny pile to try and get up so she could better chat with her new acquaintance. She wanted to know more about them and where they were from. "What world did you come from? I'm from Mabella, it's nothing big but I'm a chibi so I'm not as strong as normal senshi but I do want to go to my home world and try to bring some life back to it, do you do the same?" She asked curious since she knew nothing about deep space senshi she had never met one before now.

Stribor laughed softly at her attempts to get up—he couldn't help himself, the poor girl just looked so silly beneath that pile of snowy rabbits loving on her for her warmth. He reached out after gently removing the one playful rabbit from his own foot and brushed them aside with soft chitter sounds and very gently nudging. As he excavated the poor chibi senshi from the pile, one of the rabbits took offense to how he was banishing them from their source of warmth and bit him hard. He yelped in pain and shook it off, ice seeming to start forming in his veins. He took a deep breath and did his best to ignore it, pulling Mabella up. "I'm from Stribor. Nice to meet you, Mabella," he said. "No, I'm not Chaos or a youma or whatever. I'm just an alien. I don't quite know why I didn't die like—" like Izanami "—so many before me, but I suppose I just got... very, very lucky. On Stribor, everyone had ears and feet and a small little tail like mine. I'm trying to restore my planet, too, but it's slow going."

Mabella nodded and then said "Oh wow you are the first alien I've ever met, well I'm glad you survived and yea I'm trying to bring life back to my home world too, it's not easy and I'm sure others from my homeworld were lost too.. I don't remember everything but I guess that could be because I'm a chibi senshi or just because I'm not fully connected to my world yet." She said with a shrug. She hopped out of the pile of bunnies once she was able "Thank you." She said with a smile. She thought a moment and then said "Now what?"

Stirbor hummed, massaging the bitten area of his hand gently. The icey cold from it felt like it was spreading... Hmm. "I believe in you, Mabelle. As for what now, I think you should get home and have some hot chocolate. That's on my todo list! Warm as it might be in a pile of bunnies, it is still rather cold out here." He smiled at her. "Stay safe, alright?"

She smiled "That sounds like a good plan, thank you perhaps we will meet again." She said brightly and headed home and powered down and went to get some hot cocoa as the deep space senshi suggested. (Fin for me)
