Quote: Prompt 12 (Cold Blooded): Pearly white snow is a common sight in Destiny City, so seeing, ivory lumps around the city really isn’t so strange. Until they move. The ones the size of an iguana, or the mountains of small, gecko-like lizards that travel together, probably aren’t that intimidating. The ones the size of a komodo dragon? Those are scary. Though they range in size, they have a few things in common: sharp nails that let them climb up nearly any surface, sharp teeth that feel like being gnawed on by icicles, and scales so cold that it feels like being freezer-burned. All lizards seem to like sleeping in the snow, but the larger they are, the more solitary they travel. It isn’t uncommon to see one very large lizard, a handful of iguana-sized lizards, or two or three dozens (or more!) smaller lizards in a single grouping. They seem to mind their own business unless they are hungry, or if you get too close. It’s just, it’s hard to avoid them when they look just like snow--or when they fall out of trees on top of you? These lizards love the snow, and they love chewing on people, too. Whether it’s out of hunger or agitation, if you make the mistake of getting too close to one, they will attack–even if unprovoked. They’re fast. They’re vicious. They have a strange habit of disappearing mid battle with a camouflage you just cannot detect. It’s impossible to kill or capture one, and strangely enough there doesn’t seem to be any reports of these lizards anywhere. They seem like ordinary lizards, just very cold blooded. They don’t have an aura or seem to be magical, but something just isn’t adding up here, anyway. Note: The lizard is not a youma but can be used as a battle requirement for a character. It can only be used as a battle if there are two powered characters involved; you cannot write a solo and count this as a battle, and your character must be powered to meet battle requirements. You can use the prompt for as many characters as you like and it will count as a battle requirement, however if you repeat the prompt with the same character, only the first time will be usable as a battle.

Silistra wasn't surprised to see snow this time of year it had been all over the place, she was glad that being powered up gave her some warmth and her outfit was thick since that was the style of the era anyway. She wasn't too worried about civilians seeing her since most mistook her for an old-fashioned caroler anyway. She wasn't trying to stand out though, since that wouldn't help her at all. She had noticed the lumps but she didn't think they were anything more than mounds of snow. She hadn't noticed any of them moving yet as she walked along.
It was quiet out and peaceful there wasn't much light in the area where she was walking her lantern lighting her way as she moved along. She kept her senses open searching for chaos energy considering the time of year she didn't know if anyone might be hurt. Things tended to end up strange during the holidays. For whatever reason the season seemed to be a nexus for the strange and magical so it would seem it was impossible to have a calm holiday. Still, she had no intention of leaving the city no matter the dangers it offered.

Ascella couldn't believe it was already almost Christmas time. It felt like she had been practicing the violin for the Nutcracker performance for hours. She knew the performance was just around the corner and she wanted to make sure she had everything ready. She had been working hard on her practice and was determined to make sure she sounded her best.
Today though she was so thankful to instead be out here on patrol. Just breathing in the fresh air was amazing. Though her outfit definitely wasn't built for this cold weather. She shivered and wished she had brought a warmer jacket. She quickened her pace, trying to warm up. She was determined to make the best out of this night.
As she turned a corner she stopped just for a moment. In that moment she felt the snow below her feet move. She was quickly tossed on her backside. She scrambled to her feet, her heart pounding and her breath heavy. She took a look around, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. She wanted to chalk it up to her overactive imagination but sadly she knew being a senshi it wasn't. "Hello is anyone out there?" she said.

Silistra didn't hear the sounds of movement till she heard someone call out if someone was there. She called back."Yes." Just as she saw the first snow lizard pop out of the snow. She blinked in shock and then called back to whoever was over there. "Be careful there is something in the snow." She then looked for a way to get over to however was out in the snow, she was pretty sure they were a senshi wasn't she wasn't sure. One of the smaller lizards came at her and she hit it away with her lamp. She shook her head this was really weird. They needed to get out of this snow as quickly as they could they clearly were not safe right now.

Ascella was happy to hear anothers voice. She didn't sense a nega so she figured they were probably on the same side. Maybe. So with that in mind she began to head towards the sound of their voice. Hoping to get out of the snow, but that was when she heard their warning. And just like that she saw three snow lizards pop out in front of her. Blocking her way to get to the other person.
"I see what you mean," She said as she took a deep breath and leaned her hand to her mouth. As she did so small crystals began to form in her hand. She gently whispered words of tranquility to the crystals. As she did so they calmly flowed towards the weird looking snow lizards. Sprinkling them with barely noticeable crystal pieces. Once they hit she waited a moment to see if they would get dazed. Maybe after that she could gently tap them or something. She had no idea how strong these things might be. Until now she never even knew show could do this. "Oh I'm Ascella by the way," she said as calmly as she could hoping not to disrupt her attack.

Silistra hurried over to the other order member and she blinked as the lizards stopped suddenly it must have been the magic this senshi had. "Umm, shouldn't we get away from them before we go on with niceties?" She said as softly as Ascella. She didn't want to break whatever magic was keeping the lizards from attacking them. "Umm, I'm Silistra squire of Saturn." She said in a soft tone. She normally spoke in a soft tone anyway since it was her way. She didn't speak loudly on a normal basis. She was nervous and she wanted to get away from these snow lizards as quickly as they could, it was pretty clear neither of them happened to be combative fighters.

Ascella saw the order member get closer and nodded. She was so happy that her attack worked. Since in reality she really wasn't sure she would be able to even fight the snow lizards. She felt a wave of relief wash over her. She was able to prove herself that she could do something if she had to. She was proud of her accomplishment, be it a small one.
"I definitely agree. That idea sounds wonderful." With those words she quickly began to head in the opposite direction of the snow lizards. She walked as quick as she could away, but still seemed so calm as she did. Since she knew she needed to have a level head if anymore of those things popped out.

Silistra was glad that Ascella agreed to leave the area since they clearly were not safe where they were. Once they were safely away she stopped and said "Oh my goodness that was scary I wonder if there are any larger ones out there, I really hope they aren't." She said softly. She looked nervously back the way they had come.

As soon as they were soon enough away Ascella let out a sigh of relief. She noticed the other order member was a little nervous. So with a smile she turned and said, "Well good news I think we are safe. I don't see a single piece of moving snow anywhere." That thought alone was enough to make her smile.
"Thank you for your help by the way. Not sure what I would have done if more came along. I'm more of a peaceful fighter." She hated to admit it but she wasn't really the most violet fighter out there. Sometimes she wondered if her talent was actually senshi worthy, but she will say after each match she felt very relaxed and calm.

Silistra sighed out as well. She kept looking and would likely keep doing so till they were both farther away from the snow. "I hope you are right, and I am glad I came when I did as well, but I am not much of a fighter either so I am glad they were only small creatures.." She paused and said "Well I suppose I should be going, do be careful." She said awkwardly.

Ascella was surprised to hear another order member was like her. She figured most of them were born fighters. It made her feel a little better about it. She felt less alone and more confident that she could handle whatever came her way.
"Me too," she said with a smile as she waved. "Well it was a pleasure meeting you and you be safe as well!" She watched as she walked away, feeling a sense of newfound camaraderie. Then she quickly headed her own way, after all she had some violin practice to do.
