Quynh had heard rumors of the changes to the other trees, the Aishan hybrid curious about how that would affect the future of the other settlements. “I shouldn’t be surprised that the trees are always growing.” She mused, stringing a pair of beads together as she looked between her mothers who had shared the news with her. Once her Elaria mother had nearly gone all the way to Kiros before falling for her mother, the pair deciding to just roam the world instead of settling at one place because of their mixed daughter who seemingly belonged to both Aisha and Elzira with her mixed traits. Though Quynh had reasoned that Aisha was her true mother despite the mixed traits, that was where her vibrant and unique bloom had come from after all. “I’m here, aren’t I?” If anything it made her happy to hear the news, it was nice knowing that other Sisters had the option to love whoever they pleased and have families together. Though she knew that aspect of her opinion wouldn’t be quite as appreciated, the young Aishan huntress sitting on that part instead of sharing with the more experienced and heated warriors before her.

Aife blinked as her heated words met such a cool response, the Elaria looking towards her life partner as their daughter simply accepted the news. Clovis was a bit more adept with dealing with their daughter’s antics, the more vain hybrid always throwing off the Elaria who simply focused on fighting and less on things like appearance. She also knew that Quynh was warmer towards earthlings, for some strange reason. Still, she didn’t want to rage at her daughter for being so calm. It always made her look like a brute when Clovis and Quynh had gotten after her several times for such behavior before. “She’s not wrong, Clovis.” Aife eventually managed after watching her Alkidike partner seemingly stumble with the news. It was rare for the Alkidike to be quiet, the other huntress often more prone to bantering and stories to pass the time. But it seemed this news had startled her for a moment too, the huntress pondering it and her daughter’s reaction.

“I know.” Clovis replied with a laugh, surprising Clovis and Quynh with amusement instead of anger. “I’m just trying to imagine it. Maybe it is finally time to go visit those other trees. I would love to see how their settlements are reacting to the news. Yours didn’t take too kindly towards Elzira doing the same, right? So I’m hoping that they’re just as thrilled. All the earthling blood is invading our species again!” She nudged Aife to tease her while their daughter watched without much amusement as the two Aishans started to playfully fight in front of her, the nudges turning into attacks that they continued dodging. “As if the Extremists ever expected this! Talk about a sign, hah! So much for all that effort!” Clovis continued laughing as Aife went after her, the Elaria not prone to completely hating Earthlings but definitely looking down upon them as her mothers had taught her to do so long ago.

“Come back here!”

“Nah, I’d rather go hunt down some menzuri or something. Come on, Aife!”

A soft sigh left Quynh’s lips as she watched her mothers darting through the trees. “As expected.” They never could really sit still for an entire conversation, could they? It was probably for the best since Quynh didn’t know that she would want to go on such an adventure, not this time. Her mothers were already fighting and she didn’t want to add more to that fire even if it was just playful antics at the moment. She didn’t hate earthlings and in fact she even had a crush on one of those despicable hybrids that her Elaria mother once loathed. At least seeing how Quynh struggled as a hybrid when they visited Zinris had softened Aife’s heart a little bit, her own Elarian Sisters not accepting a full Aishan because she was different. So if anything Quynh was happy to know that other hybrids could join the world with the Vandrea and Elidae having such an opportunity now, maybe one day if things kept progressing like this there would be more acceptance and less hate towards all kinds of hybrids. A small smile crossed her lips, the Aishan hybrid holding up a completed bracelet towards a ray of sunlight so that it shined. She had made it out of some of the gemstones she got that day with Ika, hoping that the earthling hybrid would like the present for the next time they met. “It really is good news, that’s how I feel.” She whispered with a small smile as the chaos continued behind her.
