An old, unfinished, eyesore of a building finally gave way and crumbled, and while the city was clearing debris, they found something strange–an old dirt path that led downwards. An exploration of the area led to an underground cavern, but the greater mystery is that there is an unmarked cemetery underneath Destiny City. An old metal gate marks this as the Hawkins Cemetery, and Destiny City is alive with questions. Articles have popped up online and in the papers, podcasts are aplenty, and even the local news is eagerly asking questions. The Hawkins Cemetery is not exactly open to the public, but it really isn’t too hard to sneak in. The City is quick to respond to disturbances, but as long as you aren’t making mischief, you’re mostly free to explore. There are no lights leading into the cemetery, or in the cemetery itself, but once you arrive it is impossible to miss the strange glow illuminating the area. Bioluminescent mushrooms grow all around, casting a soft white–and sometimes grey–glow about the room. It’s enough to make your way around, but if you want to see, you should come with your own lighting. There are rows of tombstones and statues, and even a few strange trees. You aren’t alone down here; if you keep to yourself, you’ll find that while this might be a cemetery, there’s still life all around you.

Embly had heard about the old cemetary under the city and even though she didn't normally like breaking rules she really wanted to see this place. She transformed into her knight form of Silistra and head out to sneak into the cemetary. She had the light of her lantern which was her knight weapon. She wasn't sure if she should exspect zombies or skeletons to be walking around down here, but she wasn't exspecting it to go in a normal fashion. She got to the gate and she looked inside curiously it was dark so she was glad she had her lantern that provided some light.

Standing where she was standing now, Ekstrom could understand why her friends had all chickened out. The rumors of the cemetery were widespread, penetrating even her tight-knit circle of self-proclaimed, scaredy-cat friends. She was the odd one of the bunch that had any kind of interest in the paranormal, mild as it was in her case. She was normally just curious, but never quite so curious as to actually look into things entirely on her own. At least not normally…
Things in her life of late had been far from normal, which was maybe why she found herself at the gates of the cemetery all by her lonesome.
She came as a civilian, but after confirming that her friends had bailed and the cemetery was actually creepier than the rumors made it sound, she decided that proceeding as Ekstrom would be more prudent. So she popped behind a tree and powered up.
The familiar sense of a nearby Order signature brought her a small bit of comfort, and when she popped out from behind the tree she spotted someone at the gate. That was where the signature was coming from, so she headed over and made her presence known by very loudly clearing her throat.
“Curious, too?” she asked, the usual smile that lit up her face quite a bit smaller than usual.

Silistra jumped visibly when she heard someone clear their throat behind her she thought she would find a guard behind her telling her she had to leave but it turned out to be Ekstrom a young knight she had met before she sighed with relief and said "Oh it's you, I thought for sure you were a guard and my adventure would be over before it even began." She paused and then looked back through the gate and then said "Yes I very much am." She made a humming sound to herself "I wonder if having a graveyard below our feet this whole time is why so many strange things happen in the city. So many stories come about from being built on a graveyard." She said softly. She held up her lamp with its little flame and she smiled a little. "Ready to go explore this place?" She asked Ekstom.

The other’s reaction was what she was hoping to avoid, but maybe that was a little too much to ask given they were right next to the entrance of a graveyard that was supposed to be off-limits to the general public. So her smile became an apologetic one as she approached, and then quickly became one of relief when she saw who it was.
“Silistra! It’s good to see you again. And I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you,” she said, then turned her eyes to the cemetery when Silistra confirmed that she was, in fact, curious and here to explore. Ekstrom found she was rather relieved by this, if only because it meant that she was likely not going to be doing any exploring by herself after all. Willing though she was to press on without her friends, it wasn’t one of her favorite ideas in the world.
“Same!” she said, probably a little too loudly, with regard to the underground graveyard being the reason for all the weird happenings in the city. Granted, she only just started noticing them, but all the same. “I think there’s an episode of that one show, Supernatural, where they were building one of those cookie-cutter neighborhoods on cursed ground or something. It might not be exactly like that ‘cause a bunch of people got killed in that episode, but it could be something similar.”
Ekstrom moved to stand beside the Saturn knight and gave her a huge grin and a bobble of her head. “All that said, though, definitely ready to explore.”
Gently, she pushed the gate open and led the way inside to the first row of tombstones.

Silistra smiled she had gotten pretty comfortable with Ekstrom so it was a little easier to relax around them even though they were by a hidden graveyard. "It's alright, I'm just glad you aren't a security guard." She would have been really disappointed if she had been chased off before she got to look around. Silistra shushed her friend and she shrugged and said "I've never watched that show, but in books, it is the same oftentimes." She looked around nervously "We don't want to get caught before we even get to look around." She followed Ekstrom through the gate and walked through the gravestones looking around and trying to find any stones that were not so weathered that she couldn't read the dates. She then noticed the glowing white mushrooms outside the light of her lamp. "Wow." She said softly "This place is amazing." She said looking around at the strange cavern with its natural light and then she heard something and she turned to try to figure out what it was. "Did you hear that?" She turned and quietly asked Ekstrom. She hadn't felt any chaos energy so far so she was hopeful they were safe for the moment.

Unlike her fellow knight, Ekstrom did not have her own source of lighting, so as soon as they were even just a few steps apart Ekstrom's eyes naturally went to the strange glow coming from...not Silistra. She was surprised to find mushrooms at the source, and she quietly hummed curiously to herself as she alternated between mushrooms and now-unreadable gravestones. "Amazing might be a stretch for me," she admittedly with a nervous laugh as she moved purposefully closer to her friend. Hard to tell what exactly was around here, after all.
And it was good she moved, because almost at the same time there was something that caught the other knight's attention.
Ekstrom tensely shook her head.
"No?" came her reply, her voice about as stiff as her body was right then. "At least I hope not." The page very slowly turned to look in the same direction as Silitra, but after a long moment and nothing came of this supposed sound, she finally relaxed.
"Thank goo-" a loud screech from behind them cut her off.

Silistra nodded tensely as she looked around nervous about this place and the sounds that Ekstrom didn't want to admit were there. Just as Ekstrom was trying to say good the source of the screech sound was revealed to be a swarm of glowing bioluminescent bat. Which made for a really terrifying sight indeed. Silistra made an small epp sound and she tugged on Ekatrom's arm to tell them she thought they should flee this place.

Ekstrom froze over again. Now that was definitely a sound she couldn’t deny. Glancing in the same direction as Silitra, she saw the swarm of glowing bats and made a sound very similar to her fellow knight. She took the tug to mean something along the lines of “time to go” so before the bats could make any real headway in closing the gap between them she nodded back toward the gate. The bats screeched on, which made her shudder again.
“Yep, definitely time to go,” she said quickly, then turned and made a dash for the gate.
