The sun seemed choked by its presence and the breeze currents seemed to carry it across all of Tendaji. Curiously enough, the impact of the pollen could be seen in earthlings... Random earthlings across Tendaji saw cracks and fissures in their skin, shedding as if they had a sunburn. New skin tones shone through from underneath. Almost as if by magic new eye colors and crystal colors emerged with a night's rest. Earthlings changed overnight without regard to their family lineage. Brothers and sisters now sported new colors; mothers and daughters that once looked like spitting images captured the eyes of many with their sudden differences. What could be made of these changes? The world was in upset, some overjoyed and thrilled at the new colors, others in despair as their self views shifted beneath their feet. [ Earthlings (and those with earthling blood) have started to suddenly change colors! What does your character make of the changes? Did they change too, or do they just witness the new looks of someone close? Are they fascinated in this sudden new change, or are they in the throws of woe? Let us know how your character handles the change in the world! ] [Teiluj 1] Teiluj's hands clenched and relaxed, flexing and shifting nervously in her lap. Her eyes cast out over the ocean, enjoying the sound and sight of the waves crashing upon the beach. It was becoming one of her favorite sights in Tendaji. She had joined Lynx in traveling to Matori, where she was going to be meeting up with some of Lynx's relatives. She wasn't exactly sure which ones and there was an overwhelming amount of faces and names she was trying to connect each of them too. Her back rested against Tao, bracing her as she leaned against him. The radaku hissed and grumbled, sleeping without a care against the hybrid girl. Starline was out over the ocean, probably seeking fish from Teiluj's assumption. The rather large bird didn't waste time in taking to the very open skies. Raising a vial to her lips, Teiluj took a sip of the sweet substance. Her eyes shifting up towards the skies. There seemed to be a strange tingling in the air that she couldn't quite put her finger on. Inhaling sharply at the sound of someone's approach Teiluj turned to look up at the intruder.

He'd brought Teiluj to Matori to meet his family. Of course he wanted his twin to meet her more than the others as Iexa was his best friend as well as his brother. The two had been inseparable when they were little and even now they shared a lot of the same interests.
Hed managed to get Iexa, and his lady friend, to come meet Tei. So he walked back over to where Teiluj was with a grin. Though he had to admit the pollen in the air was a bit annoying and concerning.

She'd been a bit surprised when Lynx had asked bother his brother and her to come meet someone. Iexa she got but she wasn't sure why he'd invited her as well. All he'd said was that this someone was important to him. The shifter had become very interested then as Lynx had never shown interest in anyone before. In the short time shed known him hed always been more aloof than anything.
Sarnai followed after him, trusting Iexa to follow on his own since he was a big boy. As they approached someone sitting she raised a single brow. "Who is it you wanted me to meet?" She really hoped he didn't want her to smuggle someone.
"I absolutely adore you, Lynxdaroch, but.." And she didn't get another word out before the heavy presence of pollen assaulted her and caused her to sneeze. Just great. Sar had been hoping it would have gone away by now.

Iexa 1
He quickly disentangled himself, asking a helper to take the beast he was working with away. A summons of import from his twin. Sarnai invited as well. He quirked a brow and hurried along. He arrived in good time, coming up alongside Sarnai right as the pollen hit her and then him as well.
"Ugh." He shook his head, the stuff falling out of his hair. He sighed. Oh well.
He looked up to his brother. "Lynx, for whom do we owe the honor?"
He was rabidly curious. Lynx was well...Lynx, above, a great opinion, a partner in crime, a brother, a twin a best friend...and he had found someone..excellent.
This was perhaps the best news? If he had indeed found someone.

Teiluj 2
The unusual pressure in the air was greeted by the presence of a strange pollen. Clouding the skies and blocking out the sun, lining the sand like sea foam. Reaching out Teiluj caught a few clumps in her hand to inspect the substance. Closing her fist around the handful she had caught. Looking up as the sounds of Lynx's approach drew closer. Raising to her feet, Teiluj smiled at Lynx. Her golden eyes moved to catch the two approaching individuals. A bright blush rising to her cheeks as she caught sight of Iexa. A twin!? The hybrid woman looked back and forth between one twin and the other, feeling rather grateful Lynx had some identifiable scars on his arm.
Tao shifted where he lay curled up on the sand. A low warning rumble, a flick of his tail, preceding raisined hackles. A soft command from Teiluj kept him in place though he still grumbled at the newcomers approach.

Once both of them had reached where Teiluj was he looked at them and chuckled. "Brother, Sarnai.. meet my lovely other half, Teiluj." Simply calling her his girlfriend didn't seem good enough.
He turned his silver eyes toward Tei. "Love.. meet my twin brother Iexa and Sarnai." He took note of Tao and smiled. "Sorry boy, didn't forget you. Guys, that's Tao."
As he turned to look back at his twin his nose felt a tickle and he too ended up sneezing much like the shifter had. "Whoever is shaking the pollen off the trees needs to stop."

Sar 2 She glanced at Iexa, one brow raised as he seemed to be having issues with the pollen in his hair. The shifter had to roll her eyes at him. He was always worried about his hair. "You're fine Fluffball." Giving her attention back to Lynx and the girl he introduced she couldn't help but raise both brows and give a low whistle. "Never thought I'd hear you say that." She looked at teiluj and smiled. "Hey there. You're lucky you got the sweet twin." Every chance she got she liked to tease Iexa. Of course he k ew she had no interest in Lynx and vice versa. When Lynx sneezed she eyed him with a bit of concern. "You good?" Her sneezing was one thing but for someone who was around hairy, furry, dusty beasts all the time to sneeze? That was worrisome. Maybe he was getting sick?

Iexa 2 He felt his jaw drop a little bit at his brother being so blatant with it. The one they had all thought at one point might never find the one had not only found her but was sure she was the other half of his soul. Well good for him. Iexa grinned hugely and let out a whoop. He offered a hand for Teiluj. "Glad someone finally tamed the old rascal." He winked at his brother then stepped back to wrap a familiar arm around Sarnai's gorgeous self. He was so glad that his brother had a chance at the joy he was finding with Sarnai. In punishment he pinched Sar's butt. "The sweet twin..." he growled in her ear. "Such concern for the sweet twin." He carried on, grinning cannily as per normal. She would ahem pay for that later.

Stepping forward the Hybrid girl slipped her hand into Lynx as he introduced her to the two new faces. Looking up at Lynx when he sneezed, squeezing the bit of pollen in her hands. The phenomenon left a strange tingle in the air that Teiluj really couldn't quite place.
Tao snorted, whipping his tail against the ground. Though remained unmoved watching the gathering from behind.
Golden eyes moved eagerly to look at Iexa and Sar. The sweet twin? Did that mean that Iexa was more fierce than Lynx? She felt a shiver, she had seen how strong Lynx was in a fight. Releasing Lynxs hand to transfer the pollen over to it Teiluj extended her hand to return the handshake offered. "I didn't think I would find anyone who could accept me like he does. I owe him my life."
A sudden sharp pain in the hand holding the pollen forced a yelp from the girl. Releasing her grip Teiluj dropped the strange substance. Rubbing her palm gingerly, it was strange.

He rolled his eyes at his brother. "Really Iexa. It's not like I was some wild beast." Lynx just hadn't had an interest in anyone until now. It happened. Heck, their own uncle had been similar. He glanced at Teiluj and smiled at her.
"You are a beautiful person, Teiluj." To him there was nothing difficult about accepting her. She was just like the rest of his family. Hybrids. When she let out a yelp he frowned and moved closer to see what was wrong.
"Teiluj? What is it?" He ignored the flirting of his brother and Sarnai in favor of his favorite hybrid.

She watched as Iexa shook the girl's hand. She didn't mind the pinch to her bottom. She figured if she gave him too much attention then Iexa would ignore Lynx and his lovely girlfriend. However she was on high alert when the girl yelped. "Are you alright!?" The shifter moved to reach for Teiluj's hands.
She glanced at both twins to see if they were okay before focusing back on Teiluj. "Does it hurt?"

Immediately he stopped fooling around and also asked if Teluj was okay. "Was it something sharp?" He thought she had just had some of the tree dust in her hand. "Maybe its not good for the skin this stuff? Could pollen burn?" He hadn't previously thought so but well there was sure a lot of interesting things going on in Tendaji, stranger things had happened.
He was sorry that she had been hurt, he supposed that inhaling it probably hadn't been all that great for him either but he had felt no burn, though perhaps a faint...tingle? He was happy it had not hurt. He gulped. No one else seemed to have been injured. Had she been stung then?
Sarnai was there, she could assess it probably better than he could. His specialty was what made that bite mark there.

Teiluj 4
Her eyes watered from the sting in her palm, her teeth gritting together. Her eyes turned to meet those of her chosen life companion. Then back towards her stinging hand, her face flushed with the feel of a rising heat in her body. She felt dizzy, her head spun and floated making it hard to remain standing. Staggering in place, Teiluj allowed her body to feel the floating before the nausea kicked in. She wanted to fall to the ground, to curl up in a ball as the strange sensations took hold of her. Her breathing became rapid, her ears rang, she needed to stop whatever it was.
"It hurts." The hybrid muttered through her gritted teeth. Unaware of the outstretched hands offered out to support her. Trying to keep a stronger appearance Teiluj staggered forward towards the waters edge. Making her way, she felt herself stumble. Her knees collided into the sand, feeling the warm grains give way to the cold ones that had yet to be touched by the sun.
Gripping a handful of sand Teiluj pushed with all her might towards the waters edge. Thrusting the stinging palm into the water, giving a sigh of relief as the warm salty liquid seemingly eased the pain in her hand.
Desperate to reduce the flushing feeling she was currently experiencing, she cupped her hands into the water and splashed it over her face. Ignoring the pollen that was floating amongst the sea foam.

He watched Teiluj as she seemed to start having a reaction to whatever it was. When she made her way toward the water he glanced at the others with a worried expression. "Somethings wrong." His words confirmed. He'd been with her long enough to know her reaction was anything but normal.
As Tei seemed to stumble he moved into action and hurried to come up behind her. His hands reached out to steady her right before she sank into the sand. He eased her down so that her knees would be spared any injury. As she soaked her and and went to splash her face he looked back at the other two with a lost look in his eyes. He didn't know what to say because he wasn't sure what was going on. "Teiluj, love, talk to me.. what's wrong?" Lynx tried to coax her as he brought his attention back to the hybrid girl.

Sarnai 4 The shifter said nothing as she watched the other woman move away from them in pain. It was obvious that something wasn't right but she didn't make a sarcastic comment since she noticed the look that Lynx gave. She didn't know him too well but she did know that Iexa's brother didn't joke when it came to the safety of those he cared about. Sarnai took that moment to glance at Iexa to see how he was handling watching his twins response. Not to mention she wanted to see if anything was bothering him. The shifter suspected it was the pollen that the other woman was having a reaction to but couldn't prove it. Not to mention it wasn't like she could stop it. Sar was no healer, though she did have some experience with wounds.
