Water surrounded him as he splashed down to earth. The only thing that came to his mind was how very bad this would be if the water was still toxic. Struggling to get himself above water, he saw a whole new sky above. It wasn't the same dead and closed-off sky he had looked up at night after night. He had made it, broken free from the chaos that consumed his home. Floating on the water's surface, he felt something he hadn't felt in such a long time. He felt hope and curiosity like the possibilities were endless again. Wading his good arm through the surface of the water, he touched his tongue to some of it. It didn't taste like poison? That was good at least.

It took a bit of time but eventually, he managed to make it to the edge of the body of water he landed in. There was so much land here compared to his home, he could see structures both near and far that reached up for the sky. Eyes sparkling, he took everything in as he crossed his good arm over to hold the short bump where his other one used to be. Maybe they could fix him here? He was so very excited at the prospect of being around others again, it had been so long since he had last spoken to someone. There was so much to see and learn here but he knew he had to take things slowly to make sure nothing bad happened.

He watched all the lights and stars for a bit as he readied himself to get out of the water, it was so cool and refreshing. It felt so nice to be able to be back in water that wasn't tainted and toxic. He would come back here and see what lies in its depths, maybe there were structures just as grand as the ones that used to exist back home. Who knew? All he knew was that he wanted to find out.

It took a bit more effort than he had wanted to use, given how worn out he still was, but he managed to pull himself up and over the edge of the water. It had been surrounded by some sort of stones, keeping the water at bay, or was keeping the land from the water? There had been that divide in the end as everything fell apart, he had lost his arm because he couldn't pick a side when the vault sealed. Hopefully, things were different here, he knew there was at least one side he was on though. Chaos was the enemy and he needed to figure out how to heal his home.

Dripping as he made his way toward some of the structures, he looked around in wonder at the world he was now in. He would be a part of this one now and he hoped they would be able to help him. There was so much wonder and magic afoot here and as he took a deep breath of the fresh clean air, he could do nothing to hold back his smile.
