Bellerophon was out alone on a rooftop near the busier parts of the city, letting his wraiths gather energy as they flitted to and fro between people who had decided that the night wasn't hot enough to keep them from partying well into it.

New had warned him about going out by himself, not from any Order or Agents, but because of what the mirrors had been doing. Even if he hadn't been traveling to Mirrorspace, it was still dangerous to be near any mirrors at this time. One had even shattered in their apartment after shaking violently and falling off of the wall.

But it was part of the reason he was out here, to figure out why it may have been happening. Was it just happening to them? Other Dark Mirror? Other powered characters? He knew some civilians knew about it according to social media, but was it something specifically targeting the Dark Mirror or was it some vengeful force that may have been coming from the mirrors but had no specific target in mind.

The second reason was to collect energy as usual. Perhaps if they collected more energy, the mirrors would stop acting so strangely. It still worried New and his boyfriend was certainly correct about potential trouble that Bell might run into. He could already feel the aura of a Knight. It meant they were either coming to attack him or... No, it was probably just to attack him if the mirrors were breaking for others. They probably thought the Dark Mirror were behind it.

Well, he wanted to get that idea out of their head, even if they had to fight a bit before he could fully explain himself.

Well, the good thing was he hadn't been accosted physically, the bad thing was the Squire was very angry at the moment and wasn't allowing him to get a word in edgewise. He silently commanded his wraiths to hide, just in case she would go after them if she spotted them.

After that he yelled out, "Fire shout!" Before closing his mouth and giving it a couple of seconds to build it up before he moved his head to the side, letting out the fire so that the Squire could see it, but the crowd below could not. Though he could only hope that they didn't hear her yelling either.

When he was down he quickly wiped his mouth before turning back to her. "That was a WARNING." He said, getting into a more defensive position. "You try to attack me, I'll make sure it's aimed at you next time!" He let out a breath before continuing. "We don't know what's going on with the mirrors either! It's not like we want to be attacked by the things that allow us to go to our own realm and allow us to travel through the city!" He said, loud enough for her to hear it but hopefully not loudly enough to be caught by someone else.

So the Squire wasn't wanting to listen to reason eh? As much as he would have liked to use his wraiths to attack, they would be too slow and full of energy and would just be broken anyway. Something he considered unfortunate. He really thought they should be able to take at least one hit.

He only barely managed to roll out of the way of her attack, far enough that she would have to run at him again if she wanted. "You do NOT want to get on our list Squire." He didn't really know if they had a list of Order or Chaos to keep a watch out for/couldn't be trusted but if there wasn't, he was going to make one and add her to it. "But if that's the way you want to play then I'm happy to oblige!" He said, taking a defensive stance waiting for her next move. He knew that Knights needed to channel magic through whatever "weapon" they had on them. If he could get her to do that, perhaps he would be able to find a time to attack. Or at least stop doing this cat and mouse game.

He thought he had been ready for whatever was going to come at him. But somehow he had forgotten the fact that there could be kicking involved. He was hit in the gut, HARD. He felt the air being knocked out of him and landing on the rooftop, rolling a couple of times, only able to wrap his arms around himself so that nothing would break.

Eventually he came to a stop and he immediately tried sucking air in but was unable. His adrenaline was still high which meant that he was attempting to suck in small breaths. It was only when he took a deep one and then managed to cough that he could feel air going into his lungs again. "s**t!" He could only yell out as he moved over onto his stomach, getting up on his elbows and knees as another cough came out. He could only hope that his lungs hadn't been damaged somehow, even if he hadn't been hit there.

He was going to have to be extra careful of any sings of internal injury tonight, something that he would make sure New knew to look for as well. He looked over at the Squire and growled. "Nex-HEXT time I won't go HE-asy on you." He said through semi-coughs. He managed to get up onto his feet, his balance returning to him. "We're a tight-knit group unlike you Order. So don't be surprised if a Dark Mirror knows about you if you meet another one." And with that, he jumped off of the building into the alleyway below, gathering up his wraiths and running away since using mirrors was too dangerous at this time. He had to make sure he memorized what the Squire looked like and to add it to whatever information the Dark Mirror had about others. It appeared that not all Order were willing to talk it out with the Dark Mirror, even ones that appeared to be newer.
