Welcome to the shops first meta event! Here are a few rules to follow before we dive in.

• Follow shop and gaia rp rules
  
• Please only post if you have signed up for the meta. Sign ups will be open until a certain point in the meta, which is fairly early on. It will be pointed out when the sign ups close so make sure to do so before then.
  
• Only take a trinket that you have rolled for. If there are multiple options for a particular trinket type then you may only select one from that type and will have to roll it again to get a different one.
  
• Note there is a trinket that does have a possible use during the meta, it is a one time use during the meta so if you multiple of that item it can be used multiple times. Outside of the meta you would still keep the item even if it's been used during the meta.
  
• Big shop update to move the meta along is planned for at least once a day but more time may be given if people need more time so that way everyone can reply and play.
  
• That said, smaller shop replies will happen more frequently (so long as Blue has time to make them multiple times in a given day) for any interactions with Tadashi or to tell search results during the investigation.
  
• At the end of the meta there will be several big and small prizes given out. The small prizes are dependent on the search results while the big prizes will be raffled off between everyone who participates.

Nighttime Search Rules and Results

• You may roll once per hour so you can roll multiple times per day.
  
• You are rolling 1d100 die. Please do not use the random number generator but the dice one.
  
• If you roll the option that you found the entrance into the shrine building then you can roll 1d20 die to see what you find inside. For the first week there will be a couple of options to move back outside of the building if you want, or you voluntarily move back outside to search there.
  
• Week is up and now everyone is inside the building searching. The option to move the meta forwards has been added and more numbers will be converted to it as time goes by. Once rolled please quote me and all rolling stops.
  
• You still need to do some sort of rp reply, doesn't have to be very long, a couple of sentences, but don't just roll and make no reply.
  
• If you land on a a couple of special rolls please quote Blue to get a response as this is a special event or special trinket win. They will be bolded to make them noticeable.
  
• Special trinket win numbers are listed and require you to quote Blue to make sure she sees that you won a special trinket so she can figure out which one you found. As a note there are currently a limited amount of special trinket wins but more may be added to the prize pool. Only one per person
  
• Nighttime searching will last a week for basic searching before the trigger event gets added as a result option.
  
• If you win an Ofuda please keep track of it in your rp posts going forward (you may have multiple) as they may come in handy.

Results

1-10: You find a building that was off limits during the day. You manage to get it open and find a storehouse. This must be where they keep the charms and other trinkets they sell during the day. -take either ofuda or good luck charm-
11-20: You managed to make it into the main shrine building. - roll 1d20 to see what room you find.
21-30: You find a small building that a priest was always guarding. It's locked and you can't get in but looking through a window you can see inside to find that this must be the so called treasure room.
31-40: Man all this searching has made you tired. You decide to take a quick break on a bench and fall asleep for a bit.
41-50: You get to searching a little too close to the shrine boundary and hear a noise from the other side of the rope.
51-60: You managed to make it into the main shrine building. - roll 1d20 to see what room you find.
61-70: As you search the grounds you find a small flame bobbing in the air.
71-80: You find a garden with a small pond. There are some koi swimming around and a splash draws your attention.
81-90: Your stomach grumbles loudly so you stop to take a break. You saw where they were getting food from earlier today. -take food trinket-
91-100: You managed to make it into the main shrine building. - roll 1d20 to see what room you find.



1: You find a series of rooms that used to be where people would stay overnight.
2: You managed to find a bathroom. Might be a good time to take a break.
3: You find what looks to be an office space that is no longer in use. Everything is dusty and looks to be mostly packed up and was removed.
4: You find the kitchen! Maybe a quick snack is in order. -take food trinket-
5: You find a room far, far back in the shrine and when you investigate you discover the back wall is false. Call everyone to join to explore further. -quote Blue and all rolling stops-
6: You find an almost empty room save for a cushion on the floor. Was someone meditating here at some point? Before leaving you find something strange. -special trinket-
7: You manage to find a store room of sorts, lots of boxes and some old unusable weapons.
8: You find a room filled with books, perhaps a library for the shrine. You spend some time looking the books over until you discover that they're all old daily task diaries.
9: You managed to find a room that is locked and you can't enter.
10: You found a closet! Some spare outfits are hanging up.
11: You somehow got turned around and almost headed back outside to the shrine grounds. Better not do that and continue searching inside.
12: You find a locked room that you managed to open and find it empty. Strange to keep an empty room locked but no matter how long you search there's nothing to be found.
13: You managed to find a room that is locked and you can't enter.
14: You found a cleaning supply closet! Better not mess with anything as the brooms and mops look about ready to fall over.
15: You find a room filled with books, perhaps a library for the shrine. You end up finding a romance novel and spend some time absorbed in it before snapping back to the task at hand.
16: You manage to find a store room of sorts, lots of boxes and some old unusable weapons. Before leaving you find something strange. -special trinket-
17: You find the kitchen! Maybe a quick snack is in order. -take food trinket-
18: You find what looks to be an office space. Nothing of importance can be found unless you want to go over some accounting books.
19: You find what appears to be a breakroom or living space. There's a table and chairs and it looks like some cards on the table.
20: You managed to find a bathroom. Might be a good time to take a break.

Chloe watched the boat go up and down in the water. "Hello, is this ship safe?" She took out a few crystals for protection, to help her on her way. She always carried a bag of crystals, she was born with one less tail then others, so she used the crystals to help her with her powers she lacked. She fallowed the older man, and expected it to be safe. She is here to help, sp this was definitely meant for her. I'm ready to help! She giggled then placed the crystals back into her bag. "Let's get this party going!" She perked up and sat in front and ready to help. No matter how hard it turns out to be!

Mezcla padded up to the group already partially formed. He wasn't late, but he certainly hadn't been the first one to show up. Not that it bothered the colorful boy as he smiled to the group, giving a greeting to all around. "Hi hi! Looks like we got an interesting group huh?" He chuckled, scanning the group quickly. His grin seemed to shrink a little when the man spoke and invited them onto the boat. He looked past him to the ferry, cocking his head to the side slightly as he took it in before following along tails flicking to show how eager he was to see the inside. He hadn't been on the water before, he wasn't much for water past his ankles, and he was admittedly a bit nervous but mostly he was excited for something new.

Amia had seen the notice and the little white and pink Makitsu had decided she wanted to help. She always liked seeing others happy and if she could be of assistance, then she certainly wanted to try. So, on the day that had been on the sign and on the appointed time, she was at the docks, her eyes peeled for the one that had requested the help. She noticed the docked boat with a couple of men there next to it, she hoped this was the right place. She took in the look of the men, as they seemed to be working, her pink eyes taking it in.

As she was thinking about what it must be like to do their jobs, the older gentleman spoke and revealed he was the one who put the flyers out. It seemed there was trouble at the Shrine, she wondered what kind of trouble. It seemed they would discuss all of this elsewhere, while the younger male, Shiro she imagined was his name, would take care of things. She followed the older man and the others that had gathered. She was excited to learn more and to be on the water, even if it was not a place she usually would be.

"It's safe as can be. I've sailed many a year on this here boat and have the best ship wrights help me with any modifications she's needed." He responded to Chloe before giving a nod to Sea Shine, "And I'm happy so many have come to answer my call for help. Yes a mighty interesting group so far. But you all look like you're up to the task. Glad to see only grown Makitsu have shown up. I don't think a youngin would have the stamina needed for this."

Stepping onto the boat one can see the modifications that were done to make it more of a home and not a fishing boat anymore. There were spots where you tell some kind of fishing equipment used to be bolted down or stored that are now empty or have been converted to a sitting place. Tadashi moves towards the cabin of the boat opening the door and holding it open for everyone. This too looks like it had been expanded from it's original size as if to expand the navigation area into a living space.

He smiled at each Makogis that hopped on his boat and entered the cabin. "Very pleased to meet you Getsumei. I'm Tadashi Hisakawa..." He gave a small chuckled, "But you all must know that by now since my name was on the flyer. Any assistance would be nice. The Shrine priests and priestesses don't take kindly to me entering the Shrine anymore so I can't exactly go snooping about to see what is going on."

((Everyone can interact with each other, check out the boat, etc for now to allow those who haven't posted yet a chance to do so. I'll be posting the actual story update on Tuesday as Mondays are my computer break day. And I also realized that quoting everyone would probably help people to know that there's been an update.))

Galatea smiled at everyone as she made her way towards the boat. Though still not fully sold on the fact that they were going to be going over water, she had her trepidations about it but if he said it was safe she would take his word for it. "Galatea at your service." She nodded, making note of the few names that were given there.
