"Uuuuggggggghhhhh....." Mocona groaned, holding his gut as he laid splayed out on the ground for the time being.
He most certainly knew this entire debacle was his own fault, but if anyone asked, it was totally an accident. This was the one time that he told Hawara that he'd be fine! He was just going to go on a little patrol while he worked, just about the neighborhood. If anything went wrong, he'd just text him and call for help like a good Page should do when the going gets tough.
Only... Well... Sometimes the going gets so tough you're left with a smashed phone and a big ol bruise on your stomach.
That youma didn't exactly come out of nowhere. If anything, he challenged it, thinking that he could take down something that was about the size of a Mastiff dog all by himself. But who knew Youma could crunch their way into a bigger shape and ram him into a wall faster than he could say "oi!!"
But then there it was, that little blip that seemed to prickle any time an ally was nearby... And he was technically far enough away from the street to know that no one would hear him shout. Probably not the best were he anyone but a powered person, but in this case, it was perfect.
"Oi!! If.. Ugh... If someone's out there, care to lend a hand?!" He called out into the dark, his deep voice echoing about the empty alleyway. It lured the attention of that youma once more, causing it to stamp it's feet, ready for a new charge towards the Chronos Page. "... Well s**t."

Bifrost had a sort of routine. She patrolled roughly three times a week, worked at a local bookstore five days a week, and assisted her grams getting to and from her doctors appointments and bridge games when necessary. She helped where she could, fought youma and agents, and generally tried to keep being a part of the powered community even if she felt... out of place.
That wasn't exactly new for Bifrost. She almost always felt out of place except when around her grams. It just... was a side effect of being, well, her.
So she did what she could, and today that meant patrolling for poor new knights or senshi who were just at a total loss. The most help they got as new powered individuals, the less likely they were to abscond. That was the hope anyway.
An aura that felt kinda like page or new senshi level and something akin to a youma pinged on her senses and she made her way in that direction.
A glowing rainbow shield slammed down between the page and the youma that tried to launch itself at the downed man. A two foot tall suit of armor materialized on her left and charged towards the youma, slashing at the creature repeatedly like it was trying to chop wood almost.
"Are you alright?" she asked, keeping one hand on the golden chain that connected her to her shield, protecting the pair from the youma. Her eyes lit up as she took in his garb and the Chronos symbols on his uniform. "You're a Chronos page!"
Bifrost wiggled in excitement and offered him a hand. "Bifrost, Transcendant Knight of Chronos, at your service! That's little Heimy, my summons!" The youma was almost ignored, except for the concertation she kept on the shield keeping in place and Heimy's strikes of his sword. It wasn't the quickest kill, and it drained more of her magic than she liked to admit.
"Let me know when you're ready, and I'll drop the barrier and we can finish this, yeah? If you want to just stay behind me while I dust it, that's alright too!"

He could see it now... Not his life flashing before his eyes, but something more like 'this is the stupidest way to get on outta here' when that youma began to charge at him. It was all he could do to pull up his forearms and block his proper organs from being skewered.
But then a large thunk, and a cheerful voice had him peeking between his arms to a young lady coming to his rescue! Now would you look at that! Finally, some luck!
And a puppet kinda monstrosity kinda hacking and wackin and slashing away at the evil critter. Was that the kinda power Hawara was talking about because goddammn that was cool as hell!
"I'm fine, missy, thank yah." He took her hand with a smile, pulling himself up with a little oof. Not too worst for ware, just a little scrungly. Nothing to be scolded about once he got home.
"Yer tellin' me a right lot right about now miss! I think we gotta focus on that monster first, THEN talk, cuz I got alot of questions, but it won't be no fun to chat if that thing is still kickin!" Knowing his weapon was beyond useless, he made a quick look around the alley, and found what looked to be a broken PVC pipe. Not the sturdiest thing, but given it's broken edges, it can go right through someone's foot.
"Alright, drop it, and we'll get it! I gotta get me some revenge for messin up my pants. My wife is gonna kill me if I come home lookin' crazy like this!"

Oh. Right. Maybe not dump the greetings on in the middle of combat. Right. Look, Bifrost gets really excited when she's other Chronos knights because it feels very rare to her so she's gotta take the wins where she can otherwise the ~despair~ grips her again, and we don't want that.
No one wants that. You don't want that. Destiny City doesn't want that, she absolutely doesn't want that.
She's just gotta... keep positive and excited! Yeah!
Right. Combat.
She waited for him to grab the broken pipe - oh she remembered those days - and flexed her fingers on the chain.
"Right! Ready? Dropping the barrier now!" she said as power rippled down the chain and across the rainbow barrier.
Three things happened at once.
One, the rainbow barrier vanished.
Two, Heimy stopped moving.
Three, Bifrost shot forward as she retracted the golden shield and caught it mid stride.
She kept moving with knight speed and slammed the shield edge down into the youma. It wailed and thrashed, and looked like one more good hit would dust it.

Any other moment, that enthusiasm and excitement Bifrost showed would have been charming, and he would have been more than ready to listen to her go on and on as long as she wanted. But in this moment, with the beast on the attack and his body aching just a little more than he was comfortable with, He had to focus.
A small smile and nod was shot towards her before he assumed his stance, ready to pounce the moment she downed the raging youma! ... Though honestly, he froze up for a brief moment when he realized just how strong this other knight was. All at once she had it confused then downed, pinning it as if giving Mocona an opportunity to finish it off!
In a way, it was embarrassing, like how one would let the child who did nothing else that night, put the star on top of a Christmas Tree, the final touch to complete a project... But he wasn't about to dwell on that when that thing was still lookin to let loose and knock them all about.
Definitely not as quick as the knight, but still at a decent speed, Mocona rushed up back to her side, stomping a foot down on the beast's neck with just enough strength to keep it stead, then shoved the jagged edge of the PVC pipe straight through its skull. Then there it went, poofed in a sparkle of black and white surrounding them both.
"Well... Now that there was some good exercise, wasn't it?" Already out of breath, he still laughed as he wiped sweat and dirt from his brow. "I gotta thank ya kindly for your help, I think I mighta been that thing's supper if you haddnt'a come around!"
