H i s t o r y
Za'Liel was the first youngling among her mother and her siblings. Her mother, Ahmiira, went to Aisha alone to seek a daughter as no one had caught her eye romantically. As a result she was gifted Za'Liel. Ahmiira's sisters, Kahla, Giern, and Ohnauma, were happy to have a niece to spoil. As time passed the other sisters found love and eventually sought to start their own families, resulting in a bunch of cousins for Za'Liel to play with and protect.
Ahmiira would seek out Aisha again for the blessing of a expanding her little family and would receive twins - Islyel and Halje. Now with little siblings added to the mix Za'Liel took her role as protector seriously.
Growing up as the oldest of the younger generation she tried to show a great deal of maturity to the adults. Of course it didn't always work. Za'Liel got into trouble a few times for doing or allowing certain things to occur that she should have known better. (After all, who lets a youngling tackle the waves?) Although there was nothing too serious.
When she reached preteen age Za'Liel knew she wanted to grow up and be an Amazon warrior. One of her aunts had followed such a path and exhibited such strength that it impressed the young girl. So she'd started copying her aunt when the woman would train. This led to both her mother and her aunt coaching her and teaching her the proper way to do things. Soon after that she chose her weapon, the spear.
