Sodalite wasn't still used to the whole concept of applying his logic of the chessboard into his dealings as a negaverse agent. The young man glanced about at the pair of downed civilians before simply shrugging a shoulder in response. They'd certainly wake up given enough time but at the same time, maybe they wouldn't. He shook out his arm before adjusting his grip on the handle of his weapon before grimacing. The impact tremors still took getting used to. He also had a kink in his back from dragging the would-be-batteries into the bushes for better concealment.

There was a sense of ease in which the agent found that subduing his targets by using his weapon. It made it much safer for him to operate unencumbered and the civilians didn't put up much of a struggle once they were unconscious. Now as he knelt between both of his targets Sodalite began concentrating on the drawing out of energy that was going to be his quota for the evening. Purple orbs streamed from first one body and then the other and soon Sodalite was contemplating one of the orbs.

What would it be like to grab something else while he was certain that these individuals couldn't fight back? Would it be worth it to try and take a starseed or two?

It was so very tempting to just reach in and grab while no one could resist the move. In fact Sodalite leaned over to his left and allowed his hand to sink into the chest of one of his downed victim to seek the treasure that lay hidden from sight. Heck, this was just too easy, like taking candy from a babe. His hand emerged grasping a small crystalline structure that threw off a prismatic dance of colors before his clasped fingers cut off the source and the area around him darkened once more.

"One down, one more to go."

Being a page was... hard. The Code had seen something in him, and given him a place on the Moon to call his own, granted him power. Had seen something in him. (Probably the courage hiding underneath his anxiety and fear). At the time he'd been called to become Crisium, he'd pushed through his panic and anxiety to say he'd do it, because pissing off the cosmic being that was offering him power in exchange for protecting a forgotten overlook in space seemed like the worse option.

It couldn't have been easy or light on the Code to bring him to the moon in the first place and do all of that so...

So he'd said yes.

The thing about being a page and protecting things was that you had to actually... go and do those things. Going to his wonder was one thing! Actually running around the city powered up? Not to mention the fact that he could sense people now when powered up - that had scared the crap out of him the first time - it jsut was not... no. Not great. Not fun. Definately not good for his heart or stress levels.

Crisium still tried though, even if he never got further than his street. Or back yard.

Hey now, protecting his mother, even if she was... her, was important work too.

Tonight he'd tried to venture out a little further, aware of the signatures around him. Someone was a little removed the larger crush of auras and so Crisium decided to go have a look. Just a look! If the chaos aura was doing something bad, he'd do something. If not, he'd just watch and observe. You know. To take notes, and stuff.

He did not expect to see a dude crouched in the bushes. He really did not expect him to pull something bright out of one of the bodies in the bushes.

"H-hey! What... what are you doing?!" he said before his anxiety caught up with his mouth.

Then he saw the glorified mace of a skip-it and if Crisium's already pale face could get any paler, he'd be see through.

Oh... oh he should have stayed in his back yard!

Sodalite's already stiff back muscles protested when he stiffened imperceptibly at the flare of an aura of order that approached but then relaxed a little. Unlike that one time when facing off against what had been two senshi with higher power levels them himself and Fafnir, this owner of the order aura was A) alone, and B) far too nosy into what he was doing. Even as he stood up to turn around to stare at the owner of the voice did Sodalite merely continue to stand there, clutching the starseed he'd pulled before causing it to disappear out of sight.

He made a show of stretching before turning to really observe this intruder into his evening's plans.

"I think the better question to ask is: 'why should I be interfering?'"

Sodalite was feeling a little smug, that was for sure but he wasn't a fool. Not yet at least. Instead of moving Sodalite merely sighed before putting on a bit of a melodramatic tone before speaking again, "look, I'm just doing my job. Boss tells me to jump, I naturally respond with 'how high?' ... it's how this works. Now you can let me finish in peace or quiet," and here Sodalite stepped towards the second body that was awaiting his attention, "or you can join them."

Even as he finished speaking did Sodalite drop back down into a crouch to reach into his second victim to remove the little 'toy surprise' that awaited his questing fingers. Flushed with success he turned his gaze to stare at the Page before deciding it'd be fun to play with this one a bit.

"Wanna play a game?"

Crisium watched in abject horror as the man put his hand into the civilian's chest and then pulled something out. AGAIN.

Oh he did not want to play a game. He wanted to simply back away and forget he'd ever seen this whole thing, but then he wouldn't be a very good page of the Moon now would he? No one else was going to save these people from whatever the agent did to them.

Curse his courage! Curse his unfortunate impulse to try to actually do something!! Curse himself arg!

"Put.. put them back," he said, steeling his nerves as best he could. His little pendant thing would be useless here but maybe... maybe he could tackle the agent instead?

So he tried to. Without really thinking the whole plan though.

Crisium charged Sodalite, aiming to put his shoulder and or head into his stomach and just... tackle him to the ground.

"Why should I put them back? It's so much nicer to have them out where they can be admired."

Even as the lieutenant watched the Page he smirked. It seemed as if the little fool was gearing up to try and charge him somehow. How utterly naive. The best idea would have been to step aside at the last minute, like Lucy yanking away the football from Charlie Brown every single time; but Sodalite had to give a bit of respect to this unknown Page for the courage he was at least attempting to display.

It didn't mean that he was stupid enough to not brace himself for a potential impact though. Merely straightening his posture and then steeling himself for impact Sodalite flashed a smile at the Page before he changed his mind and charged forward to meet the young man's charge with one of his own. The distance between them decreased with each passing second until they collided with each other.

Even as Sodalite was jolted to the ground did he try to latch onto the Page's ankle ... two starseeds pulled and some energy gathered would be a great success for his quotas. Even as a bit of energy coalesced into his free palm did Sodalite's voice take on a crooning tone, "just relax. I can make your night so much easier. Just give in. Don't fight."

One moment he was running. The next he impacted on the ground, pain shooting through his elbow and forearm. It radiated up to his shoulder, but it didn't seem broken. Or maybe that was shock. It was hard to tell because the agent was grabbing his damn ankle and creeping him the out.

"Do you even hear yourself right now?! You sound like some sort of serial killer!" Crisium's voice cracked with panic and revulsion. He would worry about how awkward that was later on when he wasn't in this really weird situation!

Crisium started to kick, yanking his foot out of Sodalite's reach, and aiming a kick for his nose.

Regardless if he hit, he scrambled away from him and picked himself up like a terrified rabbit.

Then he booked it as fast as he possibly could.

The kicking of the terrified young man was less than desirable. Sodalite's brow furrowed as the Page's comment hit a nerve and he stared in disbelief. It was that moment of distraction though in which his opponent not only managed to slip out of the hold that he had on their ankle, but also managed to get a decent shot in to Sodalite's wrist causing him to flinch and draw back his hand with a hiss of pain.

Even as the young man scurried off though Sodalite's gaze narrowed. The throbbing in his wrist demanded attention and yet he simply continued to stand there before he scoffed in derision, "I sound like a serial killer?"

Replaying the fight and how he had spoken, maybe he had come off a little strong but hey, it was the name of the game, and besides: he had an image to uphold. Bringing out both of the starseeds that he had confiscated from his victims Sodalite held them both in his uninjured wrist before simply admiring them once more.

"Guess my work here is done."
