What makes these lights so unique is that they seem to change color; you might see a blue one, a green one, a red one. They flicker randomly, and something just seems off with them. If you come into contact with one, you will find yourself with a strange electric jolt. They cannot be caught, and will flicker away if you pursue too aggressively. This isn’t the first time they’ve appeared in Destiny City, but no one’s been able to tell where they came from or where they’re going. No matter how quickly you chase them, they always seem to disappear before you can find any answers.

Embly was out looking at the fireflies they glowed in rainbow colors it was so lovely, she reached out to touch one as she would a normal firefly and it shocked her finger. She frowned looking at the seemingly harmless bug. Perhaps it wasn't a bug at all. She looked around at all the fireflies on the heal and she was suddenly very worried if they landed on one person could they kill them by shock? She moved away from the fireflies and watched them to make sure they didn't hurt anyone. If they did she would do her best to chase them away.

Iðavöllr wasn’t particularly surprised to see that the fireflies were out, not with it being mating season–
And truthfully she’d take fireflies over murderous acid-spitting bugs.
Besides there was something almost comforting about seeing little bobs of glowing lights here and there as she made her way out on patrol.
She blinked as one of the bobs of lights flickered and then seemed to change colour, one red another blue and a third green - because that was very much not firefly behaviour–
And then she reminded herself that this was Destiny City and if ever there was a place where even the fireflies acted weird then it would be here.
Besides there were still better than the murderous acid-bugs, at least so far they were - because at least the fireflies didn’t seem like they were about to try and treat her like their next meal–
Well at least so far they hadn’t.

Embly sighed and sat down to leave the fireflies alone and watch them for a while to make sure they weren't doing anything bad or looked like they were going to hurt anyone. She tucked her legs up against her chest and watched them, they were really pretty. She found it funny since so many things in Destiny city that were so beautiful but also so dangerous. She found a star charm in the grass she picked it up and help it in her hand watching it glitter in the moonlight. She sighed once again and shook her head.

IIðavöllr didn’t really have any particular destination in mind, eyes on the lights that had been strung up across the city, the little strings of star lights bringing to mind the little star charm that was carefully tucked away in her subspace.
She was planning to give the blue charm to her cousin when she saw him next, although it was cute enough that she was potentially considering perhaps maybe keeping it to herself.
Her gaze went back to the decorations, noting how pretty they looked amongst the dancing fireflies, only to find herself yelping as she brushed against a firefly and it shocked her.
Iðavöllr stumbled backwards and found herself yelping again as she bumped into a second firefly, said fireflies looking much less cute in her eyes now that she’d found out that they came with a nasty zap–
And it was only belatedly that she realised that she wasn’t alone in her ‘zapped by firefly’ humiliation–
The lack of noticeable aura suggested that the young woman with dark hair wasn't powered, because whilst Iðavöllr wasn't that great with auras, she'd had enough practice with them both with and without Liryn to be able pick them up.
But the other was close enough that it was unlikely that the other had missed seeing her get zapped.MiddyGlow edited again, hopefully this works

Embly frowned when she saw the girl yelping because she touched one of the fireflies she decided she didn't need to change into Silistra to battle the fireflies. She batted them away with her hand being careful not to actually touch them. They disappeared as she got aggressive with them. "Shoo now shoo you naughty creatures." She demanded growling at them in annoyance. She then turned to the figure before her and was pretty sure they were a senshi but she wasn't about to tell them she was a squire since sharing civilian identities was frowned upon. "Are you alright?" She asked. She was however tempted to take her leave as Embly and return as Silistra so she could bind the small wound she was a healer by nature. She couldn't help but want to help care for others it was just who she was as a person.

Iðavöllr couldn’t help but blink startled as the young woman batted at the fireflies with her hand, mouth opening almost automatically to warn the dark-haired woman to be careful, only for it to fall shut again as the fireflies.. Flickered Away?
She blinked again, but the fireflies that the other shooed really gone, although others (further away) remained as they flickered in a variety of reds, blues and greens.
It took a moment for her to realise that the other was addressing her, as Iðavöllr resisted the urge to run a hand through her hair.
"Yes I’m okay" she finally managed. "Thank you" because it had been a kind thing that the young woman had done and had put the other at risk of being zapped herself.
"You should be wary of those things though - they have a bit a nasty zap" she added because it seemed only fair to warn the civilian and it hadn't occurred to Iðavöllr that said civilian might already be familiar with the fireflies' zapping tendencies.xxxMiddyGlow sorry, belatedly realised the last part of the post didn't post earlier

Embly nodded "Yes we should both be careful these creatures are clearly willing to defend themselves and I wouldn't want to attack as a group." She leaned down to pick up a star charm she saw on the ground. She stood up and looked at the girl she had been talking with. She looked in the distance at the fireflies gathering around and the people that were watching the fireflies. She frowned and then said "Well I better be going." She decided she was going to go and transform into Silistra and patrol to make sure that the fireflies and other creatures didn't hurt anyone. She was worried about the things going on at this festival. It seemed all sweet and pure but Destiny City had a way of lulling people into thinking that things would be alright even when they weren't she had learned that the hard way.

Iðavöllr couldn't help but smile at the sight of the star charm, because she had picked up one of her own earlier on in the day, even she still had yet to decide on whether to keep it for her own.
"I should be going myself" she admitted "But I hope that you have a good night."
And hopefully the young woman would manage to avoid falling afoul of firefly zaps–
Especially if young woman continued to try play good samaritan and try to help others in the same way she had helped her.MiddyGlow fin tag on my end - thank you for the rp
