Akiliano was out doing a shopping run for his household,it seemed like they already were close to running out of what they needed to live. As much as most of it was grown in their own garden, there were some things that they still needed to buy. As far as he knew, their garden grew fruits and veggies but wasn't sure if they were growing their own spices. He would need to ask Akea the specifics of what their garden was growing.

Now that he was big enough and mobile enough, he had decided to explore and see what there was to offer. He had promised his parents that he wouldn't wander too far and that he wouldn't be home too late, so here he was at the market looking around at the vendors and seeing what they were selling. The whole place was new to him and he wanted to know more. He skipped around looking left and right to see if he saw anything that caught his interest. Though from the looks they were giving him, it seemed like the vendors seeing a water/leaf hybrid child was rare.
But, of course he was too young to understand why they were looking at him in shock and surprise. He shrugged it off and continued on his exploration.

Akiliano was standing at one of the many vendors that sold spices, and as he waited for the merchant to grab what he needed he blinked and tilted his head to the side curiously at a blue with dark brown hair youngster. He tapped his chin thoughtfully, that was a hybrid he hadn't seen before so he wasn't entirely sure what the child was a mixture of. He definitely didn't look like Aki and his family so what hybrid was he exactly? He would need to go ask once he was done receiving his spices from the merchant as he waited he thought some more.

As he roamed the market some more, the more surprised and shocked expressions he saw. He still didn't quite understand why, when he got home today he would need to ask his mom and see if she had any input on why the merchants here at the market were looking at him in awe. He hummed to himself as he investigated some more, he blinked as he was starting to feel peckish, he scanned around to see where he could get some food.

Once he had received the spices he asked for from the vendor he nodded a thank you and tucked them away. He walked over to the young boy and squatted to his level "What might a youngster like you, doing here by yourself?" he asked the boy thoughtfully. He was all for letting youngsters roam and explore their home area but it wasn't without him telling them to be alert.

Ezlynn blinked as he was approached by someone who had squatted down to his level. He blinked he must have children of his own if he knows to do that instinctively, he looked at the older one thoughtfully "Oh..I'm just exploring and familiarizing myself with my surroundings that I'm growing up in" he told the older one with a light smile. He looked at the other "What are you doing here?"

He smiled at the young boy "Well, I'm here shopping for some ingredients for my family" he said patting his market bag slung off to the side and resting on his hip. He nodded his head "Ahh..I see...have you seen anything of interest in your explorations?" he asked, he smiled to himself at the memories of him and Akea exploring and hunting for treasure together.

He thought about it before answering "not yet..but I also haven't met anyone new aside from you" he said thoughtfully before sticking his hand out "My name is Ezlynn, what is your name?" he asked his parents always taught him that it was respectful to introduce yourself to someone new, so they would have a name to refer the face to.

He nodded politely "it's nice to meet you Ezlynn, My name is Akiliano or Aki for short," he said taking the young boy's hand and shaking it lightly. He was still curious about who this boy's parents were mainly because he didn't see the combo the boy was very often in and around Matori.

He beamed at the older one "nice to meet you, Aki" he said with a smile, before looking around the market to see if any of the vendors interested him. He blinked as he was starting to get peckish, scanning around to see what food vendors were in the market. There was a variety so he wasn't sure where he wanted to go, he hummed thoughtfully and looked over at a vendor that was selling grilled fish. He started to make his way over to the vendor to get himself some food.

Aki followed the young boy towards the grilled fish vendor, he squatted down for a few seconds "Choose whatever you like, and I will buy it for you" he said before returning to his regular height and waiting patiently for him to decide what he wanted, he wasn't in a rush and he was pretty certain Akea would be okay with the girls a little bit longer.

Looked up at the older one with a smile "Okay!" he said excitedly, he looked at the menu and pointed to a dish that sounded delicious and looked up at Aki "I want that one" he said pointing to it and then looked up at the vendor "excuse me, I would like to order this one" he said pointing to it on the menu.
The person running the vendor moved around to the front to looked at the menu board to see what he was pointing at. He looked at the youngster and nodded his head with smile "certainly! young man" he said with a light chuckle before going back behind the cart to get started on it.

Aki beamed lightly at the youngster as he ordered it and then the person running the vendor came out from behind his cart to check which one he chose and then went back behind his cart to get it started. Matori's grilled fish was always so tasty and it was something he was used to, so he didn't mind it all that much. On the rare occasion, he would get a smoothie of sorts just to switch it up.

He waited patiently for the vendor to make his food for him, humming to himself as he waited. He would need to tell his parents and his sister about his adventure in the market place and how he met someone different. He took a few seconds to study the older one, taking in his appearance and noting the differences they had. He looked up at Aki "What are you?" he asked out of pure curiousity.

Once the vendor was done making the young man's meal he handed it to Aki to give to the youngster and Aki paid for the meal. He squatted to Ezlynn's level and handed him the grilled fish "here is your grilled fish" he said with a smile and he tilted his head to the side thoughtfully "I'am a Kaha'iko/Menehune hybrid" he told the younger one.
