The Reservoir (4) : The Destiny City Reservoir opened about two years ago and is an easy escape from the big city. It’s a five minute drive outside of the Eastern side of town and features clear water and sandy beaches--although, the sand here is notorious for squeaking when you step on it. It’s a hot spot for all fun summer activities, but it’s been in the news for mysterious reports of some strange, aquatic monster. Some accounts say they’ve spotted a twenty foot long, snake like creature capable of rearing a long neck high above the water. But…Sometimes, people feel like something is grabbing their ankle, even if they are just wading in the shallow end. In the deeper parts of the water, it gets a little more intense: something has been said to grab onto ankles and pull. People have been warned about dangerous pranks, but so far no one has been caught. In the shallow end, anyone unfortunate enough to be targeted may feel themselves being knocked off their feet and tugged into the water; anyone in deep water may feel a firm grip on their ankle, tugging them lower and lower. Somehow, anyone it targets is freed--either by wriggling and fighting, or because someone intervenes and pulls the would-be victim up. No one has drowned in the lake. Yet. It's impossible to see who, or what, is doing this, but it usually gives up after one failed attempt. Usually.
While you may find yourself harassed by the supposed cryptid, or see something visibly odd in the distance, you cannot take any pictures of the creature. Who knows if you’re even being attacked by the cryptid–or just another youma?

Issy was at the reservoir with her family that day it was hot out and it was nice to be able to swim in the water. She had already found out she was a senshi though it was still really weird for her to think about. Like magical girls were silly things from anime not something her rational mind considered. Her parents were sitting on the shore in beach chairs and laying on towels. She was a pretty good swimmer so she wasn't worried till she felt something grab her ankle. She frowned she wondered if she was caught on an old piece of rope. Then she felt a tug dragging her under the water.
She was confused since an old rope couldn't do that unless perhaps it was the current dragging her under. She didn't panic at first she tried to look under the water to figure out what had her. She couldn't see anything and she was running out of air she struggled to pull herself up so she could get a breath. She struggled and could get up so she transformed into Mabella as the creature drug her under the water away from where her parents were. She attacked with her chilling n** and the creature finally let go of her a moment so she could get to the surface. She gasped and waved her arms and yelled "Help!!" Before she was drug under once again. She could only hope someone had heard her call. She wasn't a very powerful senshi at this point so she didn't think she would be able to beat this thing alone.
