If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.

Oia found herself at the reservoir and she looked out at the water where a number of people were enjoying the cool water on this hot day, she instead decided to go and check out the caves in the other direction. She walked in and felt the cool temperature of the cave. She entered one that went down into the darkness. She had a flashlight on her so far she hadn't noticed anything strange but she kept going curious to see what she might find in the depths of the cave. She hoped she would find something cool down here in the darkness.

Christabel had been trying to figure out what exactly she wanted to do at this festival. Somehow though she kept getting sidetracked - be it by a text from a friend or a crazy youma. She had to say though this was a one of a kind festival, but she wasn't getting much done in terms of festivities. Which her love of Christmas was not happy with, since she loved events like these. Today though those events would have to wait.
For she was patrol. She had heard that by the new reservoir there was some caves. Now she did want to see if these caves were anything like the ones she explored last year. So she rushed as fast as she could past the water until she came to a cave opening.
"Wow it looks dark in there," she said aloud as she peered inside the dark caves before her. They amazed her so much she wasn't even noticing if anyone was around here. All she had her eyes set on was the cave.

Oia turned her light off and saw that the cave walls lite up all on their own she looked at them in wonder it was so pretty she wasn't sure what the cause of it was but she decided she was going to enjoy the wonder of it before she tried to figure out the cause. She heard a sound from somewhere behind her but she didn't think anything of it since she figured she wouldn't be the only one to want to check out the cool cave today. She stayed where she was for a while just looking up at the walls of the cavern.

Christabel took a deep breath and walked into the cave. The darkness was oppressive, but she pushed forward. She cautiously navigated her way through the winding passages, her heart pounding in her chest. At last, she saw a glimmer of light ahead but watched it flicker out.
She kept going, determined to find the source of the light. Finally, she reached a turn, and as she walked in she was met with a beautiful sight - the walls were lit up with a magical glowing light source.
"Wow this is so beautiful," she said as she walked closer to wall. She was internally debating on touching the walls, since it screamed Christmas lights to her.

Oia turned to the sound of a voice and she nodded even though she wasn't sure if they could see her in the darkness. "Yea it is isn't, I wonder what made the colors." She said pondering if it was from a fungus or if it was something else she had a vague memory of being here before last year but she had forgotten what she had found, but she was pretty sure she had met a strange figure in these tunnels. She looked in the direction of the voice and then said "I can turn on my flash light and we can look around for the source of the lights if you want or just enjoy the pretty lights a while before we part ways." She paused and then said "I'm Henny by the way." She said by way of greeting.

Christabel was surprised to hear a voice this deep in the cave, but they made an excellent point. What could make these colors? Was it magic? Not only that but this felt familiar somehow... She was reminded of her previous experience of running into a similar wall and felt embarrassed. She was glad that Shedir and Leeana were there with her, as it made the experience more exciting. She then introduced herself to Henry, showing him her friendly demeanor.
"Hi there Henry - I'm Christabel. It's nice to meet you!" She smiled and waved happily towards them. As she noticed that the colors emanated from a glowing wall she wanted to learn more. As she listened to their idea she nodded, "I think that's an excellent idea! I really would love to see where these lights are coming from."

Henny turned her flashlight on and started to look around on the walls of the cave to see what was making the light and she saw the caterpillars after a small amount of searching. She saw the caterpillars on the cave walls. She smiled and turned to Christabel. "Oh look here it must be coming from the caterpillars, I think they must be leaving the light-up stuff." She loved this it was such a cool thing to find. "I think I've seen them before but it's hard to remember." She said with a laugh. So many things happened every year. This city was crazy strange things happened every Halloween, Christmas and Star festival. She shook her head thinking of all the things that had happened to her since she had lived in this city.

Christabel lit up when she heard that caterpillars caused the glowing. She took one step closer to the walls and picked up one of the caterpillars. As she gently touched one of the glowing beauties, she noticed that by touching them her hand started to glow. She was mesmerized by the sight of her glowy hand and the caterpillar. She smiled and carefully put the caterpillar back in its place.
"Well that is officially very cool," she said with a smile. Even though she had put the caterpillar down it looked like her hand was still glowing. She felt a tingle in her fingertips and watched as the glow got brighter across her hand. She was filled with a mixture of awe and wonder as the light shimmered and sparkled around her. She smiled wide, grateful to have had this experience. She couldn't wait to tell her friends about this magical experience.
"I think I have too, but this experience is definitely better than my last. Since my last was a glowing mess," she said with a laugh as memories of sliding into a pile of glowing caterpillars flashed into her memory. She was glowing for days after that, and remembered telling her parents it was a science experiment. This town was always showing her something new, she was so happy her parents had decided to move here. Since if they hadn't she would have missed out on so many wonderful events and people.

Ois blinked glowy mess that was sure to be an interesting story, she laughed and then said "You'll have to tell me that story, ready to get out of here or did you want to stay a while longer?" She asked she didn't want to leave them down here by themselves.

Christabel was glad her new acquaintance found it funny too. "Oh definitely! and I am ready lets head back outside." She said as she started towards the opening of the cave. She was thankful she had someone to take this adventure with today.
As she walked she started to explain her crazy story. "So I was meeting my friends at new cave in the area. I was late so running too fast, hit the wall, and all the bugs fell right on top of me like a pile of slime." She decided to leave out the part where she screamed. The idea that she was a glowing light for awhile was insane.
With her tale finished she slowly noticed the exit ahead. "Well it was wonderful meeting you! Thanks for going on this adventure with me! I hope we'll see each other again soon." She said with a bright smile and wave before heading off. This would definitely be an adventure she would never forget.
