Amaya walked into the entertainment room with a broad smile, setting the two apples she had picked up before on a nearby table. She walked over the the large pile of DVD's and looked back at Colche. "Which one did you wanna watch?"

Setting her chocolate cake upon the table in the center of the room she placed her popcorn upon the couch and padded up to Amaya searching for a title that she liked. the Disney section was her favourite at the moment, it was full of animals which spoke. Biting her tongue though she looked along the line and pointed at 'The little mermaid' "that one" she grins, she hadn't seen this one yet, but it looked like it had a pretty girl, most pretty girls were princesses of course, only she had a fishy tail. Thjis would be fun,s he loved to watch dvd's and it was even better if somone wnated to watch them with you.

"Alright." The iguana smiled and with a little difficulty, popped open the case and then used one of her fingers to slip inside the circle in the middle of the DVD. Opening the DVD played she dropped it in and closed it before turning on the TV and sitting on the edge of the sofa. Her bandaged tail twitched and slid until it haphazardly curled around her and hung off the side of the couch. "Got your popcorn and cake?"
It had been ages since she had watched a Disney movie... it made her feel normal in an odd way. Like she was still human and the world was a little bit the same as it always had been. Sitting on the couch with your friend and watching movies.

Colche grinned and pilfering her cake she sat upon the couch cross legged, watching the movie's previews flash before her blue eyes. Movies were great, zshe was enjoying them so much. She grinned at amaya just now noticing her tail "amaya hurted?" she tilted her head, the DVD forgotten for now though the sounds of there opening credits made her head swivvel to watch the opening animation.

"Hurt?" Amaya questioned and looked around, before remembering her tail. It didn't hurt much anymore and would probably be okay to take the bandage off soon. "Nah, it's just a little boo-boo. I accidently shut a door on it... Heh." She laughed nervously, looking back to Colche.

Colche bit her tongue a bit "bad door" she stated, shuffling over to Amaya and snuggling in to the lizard woman so she could relax against ehr and watch the DVD. She loved disney so much, they gave her new songs o sing and she did so much love to sing them to everyone and anyone she could.

Amaya smiled. "Very bad door."
It felt really nice to have the cheetah girl snuggle against her scales, though something in the back of her mind protested. Thankfully, the real Amaya seemed to be winning the battle when it came to iguana instincts... she just hoped that she wasn't the only one. Then again, Colche seemed to be fairing well and staying the same too. The only thing was that she was smarter, more confident, and that certainly wasn't a bad thing for the little girl.
The reptile got into a positon leaning against the armrest, her tail curling behind her and off the couch. Her arm moved around Colche so she could be more comfortable, some of her long fingers petting at her long black hair. One thing she had to give to Moreau... he gave her one hell of a wonderful family.

Colche puurred happily as she watched the film. Looking up at Amaya she smiled brightly, those big blue eyes bright and cheery as pretty much was ehr norm. It seemed she could bounce back from anything with her family around. Looking at Amaya, she snuggled deeper in to the lizard womans lap almost curling ehr whole body in to her as she watched the film happily. She was soon humming along to some of the tunes though she didn't know the words or the songs, she liked the sound and picked up the tuned pretty quickly her ears twitching as she listened. TYhe occasional giggle escaped her and of course she covered her eyes for a moment when the sea witch appeard, even hissing a little. She didn't like that lady one bit!

For the most part, Amaya remained silent throughout the movie. Though occasionally she would point one of her long, clawed fingers at one of the fish or some of the sea life in the movie and ask "What's that, Colche?" If the cheetah girl got it correct she would praise her and scratch gently behind one of her ears. If she didn't know, Amaya would tell her kindly.
It was nice to relax, but the girl knew that it would help to exercise Colche's brain with every little opportunity she got.

"under thesea" Colche mimicked as the bouncy song came on, it seemed that would be the song that the cheetah girl would latch on to in tis movie, though it had barely started really, she was enjoying the time with her sister searching for answers to the undersea life. Of course, being scritched behind the ears was good too, she liked the pettings!
"Amaya, can Colche have a sabastien?" she looked up at Amaya momentarily, she knew the word crab, but the only crab she had ever seen had been mean and had nippy things, sabastien seemed fun he could sing!

"A sabastian? Hm..." Amaya thought for a moment, her long fingers absently finding themselves amongst the cheetah's hair. "Well, you can probably have a hermit crab, they're kind of like Sabastian. Maybe ask Aubrey?"
Green eyes looked down at Colche with a smile. As much as the iguana now hated that woman, whether it be the thought of her lying to them in the cafeteria or somehow being a part of all that happened a month ago, she was still staff... hence, to be feared. But she wasn't about to speak her displeasure for the woman in front of her little sister.

Colche grinned and giggled "hermit grab" she puurred and looked up at Amaya, she of course thought the world of Aubrey, she was her 'mother' figure. With a grin though she suddenly remembered what they had discussed before the billy incident "I..gets a ball like cinderella for my birthday" she grins broadly, Aubrey had promised her a ball for her birthday and if Aubrey said it it was obviously true and going to happen.

The lizard didn't for a second feel bitter that she hadn't done anything for her birthday... it had always been like that ever since her grandmother died.

Colche giggled and bi her tongue before replying "seventeen, May furst" she grins broadly, Aubrey had given her that birthday she didn't truely know when it was after all, it could have been tomorrow as far as she was concerened. It didn't matter though all that matterd was that when may the first came around that she was gunna be a princess and at a ball just like cinderella.

Wow, Colche was 17? The girl in her lap that acted none older then a toddler was about a year older then her. Oh well, she was still her little sister. Amaya smiled and looked around the room. "May first? That's iiiiin..." Her green eyes rested on the calander pinned up on the opposite wall.
"About a month, it looks like." It was the 31st already? Wow... around seven more months and she would have stayed on this little island for an entire year.
