Langite was kind of excited to see what Harker could do when he was powered. He still didn’t know the name he went by, but that was fine. He was waiting near the bookstore as he had promised, and when a lieutenant’s aura flared to life, he simply assumed that it was Harker and made his way over, extending a hand. “I’m going to make the assumption that you’re here because we agreed upon it, and if that isn’t the case, hello. My name is Langite, Corrupted Senshi of Longing, and…I’m going to be sparring with you for your own good regardless.”
He flashed a smile, that was partially welcoming and somewhat sadistic before he looked the male over and then closed his eyes, looking away. “I long.”
There was no point in talking. The point was to see what his magic did and see if the lieutenant could overcome it. If not…well.
This might have to become a routine until he could. Simple enough.[Mistress Morbid] Langite looks at his target and then closes his eyes and looks away, and a powerful feeling of longing comes over them. The feeling of wanting, needing something that is just out of reach. May cause chest pains or utterly unwanted tears. It is a good distraction, can affect one person who is within a seven foot range, and lasts for thirty seconds. Two Uses.

"You would not have let me forget it if I ignored our agreement and blew you off." The Lieutenant snorted, shaking the other's hand. "Romanite." "Oh my god." Romanite sighed. "He ******** would fall for a Senshi of Longing." Honestly. Could they have managed that any better??? Romanite gave Langite a funny look. He really didn't like how the other was looking at him... And for good reason. "That was a cheep shot." Romanite grumbled, wincing as he rubbed at his chest. He should have expected as much.

Langite grinned, looking almost amused. “It might be a cheap shot, but it lets me see what my magic does to people. I’ve learned a lot from just using it. Half the time people don’t even realize they’ve been hit with magic. I quite like that.”
Looking the male over, he reached out and took hold of the hand for a moment and then let his own fall to his side. “So, tell me about yourself, Romanite. How long have you been doing all of this? What’s your weapon and…what’s your story?”
Honestly, he hadn’t really gotten any origin stories so…
This could be interesting, or at least he hoped so.

The Leuitenant snorted. "Not that you need it. Have you seen you? I can't think of a single person who wouldn't want you. You create that s**t even without magic, if Judas is anything to go by." Which, he was.
With a flick of his wrist Romsnite summoned his weapon, passing on off to Langite to inspect. "He really got the short end of the stick with that lotion bottle. But he seems to be thoroughly amused by it so I suppose it's fine." He mumbled.
As for everything else... "A couple years, at most. Not counting Siege, I am the 'youngest' of the group." A shrug. "My story however... I don't think you realize what you're asking. It is nothing... normal, I suppose." Romanite said quietly. Whatever Langite expexted to hear. Whatever it was, it wasn't going to be what he got. "I told you before, were it not for the boys that I would have been forgotten. I was not... exaggerating. My mother got sick when I was a child and I was shipped off to my father while she was in and out from the hospital. My father was not the most, uh, how should I put this... nurturing of parents. I will spare you the gorey details." Romanite would let Langite's mind fill in the blanks. "At a low point, I happened to cross paths with Devilline and Orthoclase and they offered me an out before my father could take me out." Romantie rubbed his srms, suddenlt cold.
"Now my twin is hell bent on returning the favor. We moved here and established 'Ink and Blood' hoping we'd hidden well enough." They hadn't. "It's taken me a long time to get over some things." And he had a ways to go still. "The three of us have been together ever since."

Okay, so perhaps not interesting...but a tragic backstory wasn’t really what he was expecting from this lieutenant, though…he supposed it made him seem more…human, and perhaps that was something that Langite needed to do was to remember that there actually were people behind these guises…
Even if he didn’t really care about that, it was still the truth.
“I’m happy to help you with your twin if that helps in any way. I’m stronger than…well. I’m assuming I’m stronger than your little group. I’m happy to take a starseed if it means helping a friend.”
And honestly? He meant what he said.

"I don't recommend getting tangled up with my brother." Romanite said flatly. "Even if you are stronger then most of the group. Wroe is honestly not worth your time, or the migraines that comes along with him. I do not want to see you get hurt on my account, nor would someone else... I do appreciate the offer though." Romanite sighed, mulling things over. "I would be better off without him." He muttered. "But I don't know if I can stomach killing my brother. He's given me plenty of reason to want to. But I don't know if I can." Did that make him a horrible person? He wasn't sure if he wanted to know. "Weren't we suppose to be training? When did this turn into a fifty questions?" He asked, trying to distract himself more then anything. "What else do you want to know."

“If it comes to a situation where it’s you or him and I’m in the position to assist, I won’t simply turn tail and run. But I won’t actively hunt him down if that’s your request, I’m not a savage.”
Even if losing his cool every once in a while did sound…comforting.
“We did our training. Go home now. You’ve talked enough and been put through the ringer enough, I think that you’ve earned a rest and some food. But, the next time we spar, I won’t be talking so much, or going so easy on you.”
Honestly, he wanted to talk more. Get more info. Get an idea of where to find this brother so he could simply take his starseed and be done with it…but Langite kept quiet and gave a slight nod, vanishing from view as he teleported away.
All things for another day.
