Angelica was watching a Senshi. A blue Senshi. And she didn’t think he was a part of the Negaverse, since she had the image of the horny…horned Senshi in her mind and perhaps…it was good to not jump to conclusions if she could help it but.
Finally she sighed and moved over, walking up to the blue man and crossing her arms over her chest. “...Now, are you one of the people from space, or are you secretly a youma in disguise. Because I met another guy and he insisted that he was from space, but. I still don’t know if I really believe it. I’m Sailor Angelica, Senshi of spruce and I just. Want to make sure that…I’m making the right choice by not attacking you.”
It made her feel…almost disgusting to even admit all of that but…she was trying to be better with not being so trigger happy…and he didn’t feel evil but…
“Look, the Negaverse are just super shitty and I wouldn’t put it past them to disguise themselves as not Chaos. So. Prove me wrong.”
Or she would attack.
Happily.

Vilenius was offended. He immediately stared at her with cold, annoyed eyes. She thought he was with the Negaverse?
He looked down at his uniform and thought he looked very obviously like he was not, so when he looked up at her again it was with more confusion, and more agitation. The audacity! What were they teaching these Senshi?
His face burned, maybe because he was flustered about the accusation or just outright insulted by it.
“I am not with the Negaverse! I hate Chaos! I should attack you!”
He didn’t, because he might not care for the Senshi of Earth, she was not Chaos, and did not deserve his wrath.
Well, not yet.
“Apologize to me. That was rude and uncalled for. I am a Senshi. I have only ever been a Senshi. I will never be anything but a Senshi.”

Ah, touchy. It was a good thing that she hadn’t just flat out attacked him then, okay. Angelica could work with that. Maybe.
“Hey, hey, I’m sorry, I just had to ask okay, there’s a lot of crappy things that the Negaverse and Chaos do and impersonating a Senshi just…doesn’t seem very far beyond them, don’t you agree? I hate Chaos too, with every fiber of my being.” She hesitated and held a hand out to him. “Want to be allies? Or maybe friends? It’s nice to find someone who gets so prickly about Chaos, it makes me think that we’d get along pretty well if I wasn’t accusing you of it.”
Angelica’s smile turned sheepish and her expression softened just a little. “I am sorry though. I would have reacted the same way.”

Vilenius’ lips pursed together and he seemed to be judging her words carefully. She’d said sorry, and he supposed that was enough of an apology. When she offered her hand he was visibly reluctant to take it.
Allies might have been a bit too strong of a word for what he was looking for, and there was something a bit antsy about him when she proposed friendship. He was visibly guarded and debating how he wanted to answer her.
“I might not look like you but I’m not interested in Chaos. I don’t know if I’ll be on Earth for long, anyway. I’m not from here.”
Obviously.
“My understanding of ‘friendship’ is a bit rusty. I might not be compatible with your interpretation of the word. What is your definition of ‘allies’? I am not a team player.”
He didn’t seem like he was arguing or trying to deter her but he did seem like he was trying to be honest and prepare her for–well, whatever she was asking. He wasn’t going to have hurt feelings if she decided she was better off not being tethered to him in any way.

Angelica looked thoughtful for a moment. “Fair enough. You say that you’re not interested in Chaos, but you started hissing like a wet cat when I asked if you were part of them, I was kind of hoping to have someone to kick faces in with. It might be fun. I’m more of an…attack first ask questions later kind of girl and I had sort of hoped that you might be like that too, if I was wrong though, that’s fine too.”
She wasn’t going to judge. Her path was…rocky and a little gross, and she knew and accepted that.
“Anyway. Just someone to hold them while I punch, or someone to punch while I hold them is what I was hoping for. Someone to really help me in causing damage.”
Shrugging, Angelica gave a small grin. “No issue either way, just thought I’d give you the invitation.”

Vilenius was pretty sure he was also an attack first, ask questions later sort of person, but he supposed it depended on the questions he had to ask. And who he had in front of him.
He mulled it over briefly and then shrugged.
“We’ll see. I haven’t tried that yet.”
He wasn’t the best at working with a team, for himself or them, and he still felt like he had ants crawling all over his skin. He was the odd one out here on Earth and had no idea how he was going to carve out a space for himself. He had a whole other world that he belonged to, and Earth–
Earth was so different from Vilenius. Not that he wanted to go back.
It was a strange combination of homesickness and disdain. When he considered it, it gave him a headache–so he dismissed the thoughts immediately and ignored the sudden twitch in his eye.
“Why do you hate Chaos so much? I haven’t met many people who are fighting them.”

“Honestly? They disgust me. They feel like dirt and spikes against my skin and they’re just not natural. They’re trying to destroy my home and I don’t really have any intention of allowing that. We’ve got powers to kick their asses and that’s what I plan to do, and keep doing for as long as I’m able.”
Angelica huffed, trying to calm herself down, she didn’t want to go into the whole heartbreak aspect, but that was only with the Dark Mirror Court…and she was working on that bit. But she did truly hate chaos so.
“What about you? What’s your story?” If they were going to try to be allies…she figured that this was a good place to start.

Well, he felt the same as she did at least. His lip twitched but he nodded understandingly when she talked about how gross they made her feel. He didn’t know why he was was so sensitive to their auras here. Maybe just becuase it was so different from his world. He’d gotten used to the steady, uncomfortable hum of Chaos bearing down on him. It wasn’t unlike the pounding of the waterfall against the rocks below it.
“I don’t have a story,” he answered, and though it was short he didn’t seem to be making a big deal out of it.
Did he have a story? What was there to say?
“I am here, and they are corrupted. Chaos devours. It will pollute them, and those close to them. It will pollute this whole world if it is allowed to spread. I am not as strong as I should be. I feel like Chaos has taken that from me.”
He looked at his palms and squinted at them before he shook his head and returned her gaze. “I haven’t met many people since I got here. The ones that found me are not very involved in fighting in this war. I don’t think I am, either. But I feel agitated often. Probably because there is so much Chaos here. So I have been picking at it in the meantime.”

“I get it. Do you have a phone?” Angelica hoped that he did…and she drew her own out from subspace to show him. “We can get one another’s information. I’m not really…’in the war’ either. Like…I’m just here to get rid of as many bitches from chaos as I can so…it might be fun not to have to do that alone. If you want we could text one another when we’re out and meet up and tag team?”
Angelica felt almost hopeful as she asked. There wasn’t anyone else she had found who seemed to have this same mentality, so…
It would be nice not to have to go alone all the time for fear of people thinking that she was ‘too violent’...and perhaps.
Perhaps together they could do better at getting the job done right. “I’m all for it, just in case that was holding you back. I want to kill as many chaos bitches as I can. That’s what I really meant by ‘get rid of’.”

Vilenius tilted his head just slightly. “I am not good with technology. I have this,” he said, and produced his Senshi phone. He handed it over to her immediately, as if he thought it would be easier for her to just do whatever and he could figure it out later. “A Mauvian gave it to me. I haven’t used it before but I can learn.”
At his own pace, when he wasn’t feeling so frustrated that he wanted to throw it across the room. He was in information overload with just about everything right now, so he knew he had limited focus. He was stir-crazy and restless and there were a few things that made sense, but the rest?
Eating, he understood. He liked that. Picking fights? He liked that too, he was pretty good at it.
Staying in one place? Understanding technology? Adapting to Earth? Using his manners? Behaving? Not so good on any of those. He wasn’t really even trying to improve any of them.
There was just too much else on his mind.

Angelica brightened and nodded, taking the phone from him and swiftly snapping a selfie of herself so that her information registered, then took a quick photo of him to do the same. “See? Now we have each other’s information and if we ever need to we can call one another and figure out where we are and just…it makes it easier to go on patrols or…hunts or…whatever you feel like calling them.”
Hunts sounded pretty fun, and she did enjoy hunting chaos.
Grinning, she held the phone back out to Vilenius and shrugged. “You can learn. And I’m more than willing to help you. Together maybe we can rid this city of some Chaos and start to get things back on track.”

When she took a picture of him, he didn’t smile, didn’t pose. He didn’t scowl or make a fuss like what seemed to be in his nature, so it was a surprisingly candid picture of him. Although, his permanently settled, furrowed brows, and slight downturn of his lips made him look a bit unapproachable, anyway.
He nodded and accepted his phone back. He flipped it over in his hands and examined it, like maybe he meant what he said about learning how to better use it. “All right.”
It was dismissed to subspace without much more attention though; if he was going to learn something, he wasn’t going to struggle with doing it in front of someone.
Thunder rumbled not so far away and his attention snapped in the direction of the storm. He squinted at the flashing in the sky and then turned his attention to her. “Bye.”

Angelica blinked, and then blinked again. “Uh…sure, bye. I’ll…uh. Be in touch.”
Well, at least he was direct…she could handle that. With a slightly confused grin that she hoped hid most if the confusion she was feeling, Angelica nodded and turned away, making her own way towards her own home without another word.
