After Illyria had returned from her visit to Ida, the senshi and her cat had talked about what she'd found. The consensus they finally reached was that they were going to need help to deal with it. Orah was still struggling with the depression and anxiety that had been plaguing her for a while now, but there was a part of her that wondered... was this why? Her connection to her world was so deep, would something affecting it affect her too?

Finally, they had decided on who they needed and Orah had sent out a message to Kerberos, inviting him to the apartment she shared with Ash and Arian. Her invitation had been short; "I've found something on my asteroid and I think I need help with it. Can you come and I'll explain more?". Ash had gotten something similar, but in person from an Orah who struggled to push down her anxiety long enough to explain. Illyria, in contrast, Orah tried to keep with her as much as the kitten would allow. There was something about her warmth and weight that was a comfort... and part of Orah knew that if Illyria was with her, there would not be another incident like she'd had with Painite.

It had taken a solid week to heal from the injuries, but she had magic to thank for it not taking longer. There would be a scar down her calf, but it could have been so much worse. Now that she could walk again, it was time to gather up her help and do something about the chaos 'weeds' growing in her garden.

"Illyria said she felt the chaos when she arrived on Ida." Orah said as she sat on the couch in the apartment's living room, the Mauvian on her lap and her slender fingers in her soft fur. She still felt... too keyed up. Like everything was pulling her in a thousand directions and the singular one she did not want to go was to Ida and a fight with yet another something that was trying to kill her asteroid. A seductive part of herself whispered that she should just let it have the place... that her transcendence was chains, and if her planet died, she'd finally be free of them... It was a struggle to push that down and focus.

He'd known something was going on with Ida, even before her fight with Painite, but he knew better than to ask the other. Something was eating at her and he knew she'd shut him down if he tried to ask, he liked to think he knew her well enough by now, so he didn't ask but he did observe. He watched as she changed, slowly, before his eyes. Even as he grew in power, becoming a super senshi again, he watched as she seemed to be losing to whatever was eating at her. Now though he knew what was going on.

Sitting on the living room floor, his hands in his lap, he stared at her as she spoke. She didn't want this fight, he was certain of it, and yet she had really no choice. It was either go and fight or let chaos win, as it eventually would do, and than what? What would happen to a royal, and transcended royal, once their world fell to chaos? He didn't like the idea as it didn't bode well for their side of this war.

"So we're going to have to deal with it then." He didn't ask her, he didn't need to, there was no other option. It needed to be rooted out and dealt with. He would eventually return to his own planet with others and do the same there, it would be done throughout space in time, chaos did not belong on their planets. Letting his pale eyes drift down to the cat in Orah's lap he nodded slowly, more to himself than anyone else. "Right, so is it just us going to handle this?" He questioned, hopign they'd be able to manage this on their own. He was assuming Ida knew what they could and couldn't handle though, he'd trust her judgement for now.

Trust was something he was still new to, trusting people who weren't his own kind. But here on Earth he had to...he needed to adapt and he had been.

Illyria's arches into Orah's stroking fingers were heavenly and the feline wished that she could just go on enjoying the sensations that were coursing up and down her spine. However things being what they were, that moment would have to wait. Instead there was a solemnity in her gaze as she took in those that Orah had brought into confidence about what was happening up on Ida. Her violet eyes took in Ash, who she knew was one of Orah's flatmates, and a senshi in his own right ... and the other individual that Orah had trusted enough to ask for help. Pricking her ears forward Illyria's gaze settled on Ash as he spoke and she nodded slowly.

"We've come to the same conclusion that the chaos on Ida can't be left alone. It needs to be destroyed so that both homeworld and senshi can heal."

Illyria shifted enough so that she was sitting in Orah's lap before she bumped her head against Orah's fingers before fluffing out her fur before letting it settle again. "When I landed on Ida the last time I could feel the chaos saturating the atmosphere pretty much as soon as I had appeared. I followed what seemed to be the source of the signature and it led me to what Ida has told me is part of the core of her world. Everything in and around that area has lost all vitality of life. I was left with a feeling that if the chaos was destroyed perhaps the world would regain that vitality but we need help in order to do so."

Illyria's gaze softened before she craned her head to peer at Orah and she gave a soft trilling sound of encouragement. Inwardly the Mauvian was supportive of the choice that Orah had made to bring in reinforcements for this fight. Illyria had a feeling that they would be successful in destroying the source of chaos that had been infesting Ida but it probably was going to be a bit of a battle. She'd do her part as she knew that those Orah had asked to assist would as well, "I don't think there's any other option open to us besides dealing with the chaos there."

When Keiran arrived at Orah's, it was with a box of freshly baked chocolate-cherry brownies. It was probably a little silly to bring baked goods, but...it had also seemed, in some ways, like the right idea, and if no one wanted them now, he could always leave them for later.

They were set aside, for the moment, while he listened to Orah talk and frowned, deeply.

"Not unlike what happened to my world," he said. It was a familiar story--a planet's very heart infected by the poison of Chaos. He wondered, briefly, if it had the same origin. If it could be studied in the same way.

Perhaps he ought to bring another Mason jar when he went, and try to collect some samples for if he ran into Lyndin again.

"But that means that we can likely fix it in the same way. Find the Chaos. Fight it. Destroy it." Save Ida, both the world and the Senshi.

Orah kept her eyes down, studying the rug as the others spoke to ask their questions. She'd introduced them all when they'd arrived, but it had been too much to try to explain to everyone how she knew them all and why she'd invited these specific people. She trusted them, out of anyone she knew, to support her even when her brain was whispering how much of a burden she was, how much she was asking of them while offering nothing in return. This fight could be very dangerous, she had no way of knowing.

"If you want to ask someone else to come, you can." She said softly, fiddling with Illyria's fur. "I don't know how many people I can bring along to Ida, though. That time when I pulled everyone from the fight... that was kind of more my asteroid than me. I don't have access to that amount of power right now."

Another way she was ultimately useless.

Her eyes rose when Kerberos talked about his world and she studied him solemnly, remembering when she had helped him in return. He'd brought more people that time... maybe she was asking for failure, only bringing these three. But did she even deserve to ask for more help? She already had Illyria coming, who was a no-brainer, and Selinur was nearly like a brother these days, like Athene was... and Kerberos had faced chaos on his world. Orah had to make do with these. They were all she had.

"If you want to call someone, go ahead. Otherwise, we should probably go."

Shaking his head Selinur turned his attention to the others in the room. "No, I was just surprised you are keeping it to a small group. But we will be fine, we're strong and whatever is happening we'll handle." They had no choice, in his mind, but to handle the chaos there and remove it. They would find a way to win, he knew they would, Ida was strong and so were the rest of them. Though it made him wish for his wings back, not for the first time, but he was working on it. He'd made super and that was a step in the right direction. He just needed to reach eternal now and he'd be back to where he belonged.

"No, I can't think of anyone I'd call." he could, he knew he could, but he didn't want to burden Ida and he didn't want to push things. She was delicate and this was a personal thing for her, it was dealing with her homeworld. He wouldn't invite someone to anothers homeworld, he really wasn't looking forward to inviting people to his own homeworld when the time came. It was something he'd need to do though and he knew it, he'd accepted the idea after much time, he would do whatever he needed to. But that wasn't the same as this.

"Alright, let's go then." Standing and stretching, yawning wide, his ears twitching and tail flexing as he stretched as much as he could before relaxing.

Illyria was trying to comfort Orah as best as she knew how in this form by being all cuddly and affectionate. Sometimes it worked and others it seemed to barely phase the Orchid senshi, whether she was powered up or not. Illyria hated that her partner was suffering and there wasn't much that she could do. Supplying an endless amount of affection could only do so much before it became overbearing and Illyria was careful not to cross that line, lest Orah (and Ida) push her away.

It helped that now if Ida went out she was accompanying her. Illyria hadn't resisted when Ida had made the abrupt decision. She welcomed the chance to keep an eye on her charge.

But this was going to be something new, and possibly dangerous to contend with. Illyria's dainty paws kneaded biscuits on Orah's leg before she chirped softly, "We might be a small group but we should be able to succeed. I had the distinct sense that while it is chaos, wherever the source had concealed itself, it itself might have been technically speaking, weak. Just that it's gone unnoticed meant it's had time to spread itself further in an effort to corrupt things."

Illyria peered up to Orah, with nothing but kindness showing in her violet eyes, "Orah, I would follow you anywhere without you needing to even ask, but I'm glad you did ask for help." Her head butted against the fingers that were still fiddling with her fur before she turned to face Ash and Kieran. "Let's get this done, shall we?"

"We can do it," Keiran said firmly. Orah looked exhausted, miserable, drawn, and he remembered how he'd felt during the months when his world was being slowly poisoned.

They had to do this. Had to lift that burden from her shoulders. There were, perhaps, people he might call, butt his was Orah's world, and it was her choice. Besides, between the four of them--Selinur was an unknown quantity for Kerberos, yes, but they had an Eternal and a Royal, both of whom had powerful offensive magic, and a scrappy cat that Kerberos had come to regard with fondness in the brief time he'd known her.

They could do this. They would do this.

"Let's go." He extended his hand towards Orah, letting the delicate, dancer outfit of Kerberos whirl into being around him.

They all seemed so sure, and so ready. It nearly put Orah into tears, feeling their firm support. She didn't deserve it... but she was pathetically grateful for it. She didn't have to do this alone.

When Keiran offered his hand, she put her own into it and let him pull her up to her feet, Illyria cradled in one arm. She led the others out to the balcony of the apartment and there she took out her pen, turning as the petals fell about her to form the familiar shapes of her uniform. The delicate, henna-like lines on her skin had faded, barely glowing now. The eternal placed her cat on her shoulder and offered a hand to one of them, letting them touch each other to complete the link. Phone in hand, she thumbed it open and hit the teleport button, feeling the familiar rush as it took hold.

This time, though, they did not land in the great, open field of grass outside of the Tower. Instead, they appeared in a huge, cavernous room, walls rising up in a great circle around them while a field of pale, desiccated flowers stretched from their feet out in every direction, only cut through by the foot paths leading to a tall structure in the center, dominating the room.

And it was dark. Night had come to Ida, and beyond that... the usual and expected glow of the flower lights was missing. The only light that did make it in was a pale, thin moonlight through the tall, arched windows, angling down to hit the curving, swirling structure. The rank feel of chaos hit Ida like a physical blow and she took a step back, releasing the hand she held. The rush of pure energy she usual felt was dampened and overwhelmed by the chaotic aura. It radiated from the center, from the mass that seemed to have taken over the heart of her tower.

Dark vines wrapped around the helix-like shape of the energy center, swagged between them like drapes of spider silk. Dark leaves sprouted, and from their veins pulsed a soft, eery pink light. Ida felt the... malevolence from it. The grasping, greedy hunger. It wanted to swallow her up, swallow her whole world... and she was so tempted to let it.

"I... I think that's it." She managed, her voice strained.

The time it took to step out onto the balcony was all it took for Ash to power up. Standing there in clothing meant for cold weather, not the weather he knew he'd find on Ida, he knew he'd be taking a cool to cold shower when he got home. He didn't like sweating and being too warm; this was a good enough reason though. Reaching out to take hold of Ida, and the blue haired senshi, Sleinur kept close as they were to be teleported to Ida's homeworld.

Rather than stepping back, or even staying put, the ancient senshi stepped forward towards the chaos. A step or two, than another onr or two, he stood staring at it. "So this is what's taking over." Looking back to Ida he smiled lightly. "Don't worry, we'll remove it." He was certain of that, because for him there was no other option avalible. He'd never been a fighter, his people weren't fighters, but chaos needed to be dealt with wherever and whenever it was seen. That was his duty, along with collecting information, and he would uphold that duty.

"So do we just attack or...?" Trailing off. A stright up attack seemed like the obvious but they would, no doubt, be attacked in return. But what else was there? Would this be like when on Alastor?

Illyria was getting used to the teleportation aspect of getting to Ida and the experience thrilled the young Mauvian every single time without fail. Her gaze widened though at the strange location in which they'd been brought to. She too had been expecting the trek like before but when they arrived on Ida's world it was to a location that was not completely familiar to the feline. Her gaze took in the room that they now stood in. Almost instantly did all of Illyria's fur stand on end at the saturation of chaos throughout. Her heart sank. Her voice was quiet as she broke the silence, "Oh, it's gotten worse."

Illyria's gaze lingered on the desiccated flowers before she leapt down from Ida's shoulder to take on her bipedal form. She was ready to help in whatever way that she could and if that meant ripping apart the chaos with her bare hands then that was what she would do. At Selinur's question Illyria spent a moment pondering what was the right approach. "It's worth a shot to try attacking it. Not sure what could happen. Maybe if we all hit it at the same time it won't know who to strike back at?"

Her voice trailed off in a question. She only knew the chaos needed to be destroyed ... but she wasn't at all certain about what could work.

Kerberos felt his heart drop. Just standing on Ida and feeling the awful press of Chaos made him sick to his stomach--this was wrong, no world should feel like this. And with their worlds thriving again, no world should look like this, desolate and dark, lit only by moonlight through windows.

This whole place ought to be aglow, and that it wasn't set Kerberos on edge.

"We have to attack it," he said. "The rot on my world--it attacked first. And the faster we eliminate it, the better." Certainly, it wasn't going to fix itself.

Unhesitatingly, Kerberos strode forward, and once he was close enough--

"Thousand Asphodel Chorus."

Quote:
Additional Attack: Thousand Asphodel Chorus!
Kerberos speaks the name of his attack, and sweeps an arm in front of him. Trailing after his palm, asphodel petals burst out and explode at a radius of 8 feet around Kerberos. The petals will only damage enemies; for allies, they are harmless and pretty. They behave like thin knives, creating a sensation of mild to moderate cuts, and can leave behind actual damage at player discretion. In addition, anyone struck by them will feel a sensation of grief and hopelessness that lasts for 30 seconds. Kerberos can use this attack twice per battle.

The flying petal knives shot forward and sliced through the hanging vines, shredding leaves and sending a mass of the vegetation falling to the ground. That seemed to wake a response from somewhere in the center and the space around them pulsed. A deeper darkness spread from the tangled heart like a low fog cloud, the lights in the veins of the leaves pulsing brighter.

With that spreading darkness came an uneasy feeling... like the light, life and color was draining from around them.

Ida felt it press down on her, exhaust her, and she struggled not to give in to it completely. Her fingertips tingled and her gut rolled, knotting up with nausea. The longer she stayed where she was, the worse it got, pushing her to retreat towards the cleaner air outside the chamber. She had to fight that urge to stay rooted. Releasing what little energy she still had, Ida called the petals that fell around her, swirling into sweeps of purple cloth and broad, pale feathers.

Her new power pushed back at the darkness, but it was a feeble attempt, drained as she was. Dried flowers crumbled beneath her bare feet as she forced herself to take a step forward, and then another. Lifting an arm, more petals trailed behind it, forming the familiar shape of her magical bow. Taking it up, she pulled an arrow into being and released it with a snap, sending the shaft of bright light into the tangled nest of dark vines. The explosion tore more growth free, shredding it further, and revealed a single, humungous glowing bloom. Trumpet shaped, its center a dark, sickly purple shading out to eye-searingly vibrant toxic fuscia at the edges of the petals. The energy the mass was pulling seemed to focus there, like a fat toad in a bog.

"We... have to hurry." Ida gasped out as she felt the toll the attack had taken on her, the way the thing they fought pulled more energy from her the longer she remained. "If we stay too long, we'll have nothing left to fight it with."

Eternal Sailor Attack: Heavenly Orchid Arrows!
[What it does] An out-flung hand casts a trail of petals that form a bow-like shape. She takes it up and uses it to fire arrows of light with hardened petals as arrow heads. The arrows have an 'aura' of power to them and explode on contact. The explosion is more concussive, causing a pressure that can push a target backwards a foot or two, but doesn't do much in the way of actual damage. Unbalanced enemies could be knocked over, if they were caught unaware. Particularly heavy opponents may not be moved by the attack, but could be distracted or slowed by the pressure of it. Each arrow takes a lot of power to cast and her limit is three, which exhausts her and can force her to retire until she's rested.

It seemed the answer was to just attack, as he watched the other two senshi do just that. He could see how weak Ida was and he wanted to support her. to help her save her planet from whatever this planet was. "We'll remove this chaos." He was certain of that. For his own magic he had to get in close enough, thankfully a flower couldn't move away to escape like a person could, so at six feet fro mthe plant he tapped his foot onthe ground and called on his own magic. "Freeze up." He wished he was eternal in this moment, he'd have had stronger and better magic, this would have to do however.

The plant didn't look like one which would fancy the cold weather his magic brought with it, unlike himself who adored the cold, his own planet had no such brightly colored topical plants growing on it - they wouldn't survive. Had this plant been something more akin to what had once grown on his planet he didn't think it would work as well as he predicted it would here and now; on this plant.

"We'll have our own bodies, and breath in our lungs, Ida. I'd go at it with my bare hands if I had to." On hands and knees if he must. He wasn't interested in letting chaos remain anywhere - in any form.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Freeze up.
Selinur will tap his foot gently on the ground, whilst calling out his attack, this attack can be used two times in battle and lasts 35 second each time. When he taps his foot on the ground it’ll cause the temperature to drop within a 7 foot radius of him. For the duration of his magic, it appears as though chilly rain is rapidly falling around him. Wherever the rain drops land will immediately solidify into a frozen glaze. He will be immune to the glaze but the ground beneath him and anyone or anything who comes into contact with the falling rain will be rapidly chilled by the layer of glaze that grows over them. The ground beneath him will rapidly become slippery, and any items near him will become too cold and slippery to pick up. The seven foot radius of his magic moves with him, however the more he moves, the less rain coats an area and the less slippery it will be. When the magic ends, the glaze will immediately dissipate unless players want to have lasting damage. The rain falls much faster at this stage than it did in his basic magic, allowing him to coat more in less time.

As a cat, Illyria had more potential weapons at her disposal that she could utilize if she chose to do so. Although gifted with the ability to shoot an energy laser or two out of her forehead star Illyria was willing to more take battle to the chaos on Ida's world with her bare claws - given that she had so many of them. Her teeth were fearsome daggers too when used properly. The chaos energy from the plant roiled around the chamber, polluting the air and seemingly doing more unseen damage to Ida than the human, or feline, eye might perceive. No, the time to act was now.

But even as she wanted to jump straight into battle like the others had ... there could be unseen dangers that could catch her unaware. In fact it was when Selinur released his magic out that Illyria could have caught an unlucky break. Upon seeing the precipitation begin to fall around the super senshi did Illyria wisely back off. The idea was to be a help, not a hindrance. Instead of wishing she could go in with claws and fangs to take care of this thing of chaos did Illyria pause to judge the best time to use her laser would be.

As soon as Selinur's magic seemed to freeze the plant did Illyria slink forward. Getting close enough that she wouldn't miss with her magical beam did she concentrate deeply on all the anxiety and frustration she was feeling at how much Ida had been suffering and released the magical beam of light to strike near the central mass of the plant. It wasn't a perfect strike, but it would have helped a little.

Although she was expecting it, Illyria was still taken aback at how drained she felt afterwards as she slinked back to press against Ida's legs, giving her senshi the best support she knew how.
