Rydan 1
He was arm deep in metal in the forge looking for the right scrap to put on a piece of art he was working on for a client. He liked the art pieces it was a change up from weaponry and jewellery and ferrier fare.
His ear twitched at a noise. "Thea?" He thought the soft barely audible sounds forcasted his gorgeous mate coming in from a job or from dealing with their spawn. Though their spawn had mostly moved out to live their own lives.
He found an appropriate piece and looked around.

Thea 1 Since her injury she had been losing her touch on sneakiness. Of course with her eye being slightly affected she supposed that was normal. Thea hadn't quiet figured out her knew depth perception. So as Rydan heard her coming, even though he didn't loudly broadcast it, she offered a slightly sad smile to him when he turned around. "Heard me did you?" That was just more proof to her that she couldn't continue her job as a thief anymore. A soft sigh left her and she turned her head so that the scar over her eye wasn't visible to her husband. She tried to focus her attention on whatever it was he was working on.

Rydan 2 He turned and smiled at her. "You are not loosing your touch Thea, no matter what you might think, our kids have all made a game of trying to scare me when my back is turned I get like a tingly feeling when someone is behind me now and I just happened to catch a whisper of sound." He strode to her and turned her face, kissing her scar. "You just have to adjust to the differences it will take some time." She was so beautiful, it hurt him. He should have scars. "Oh aye, a garden piece, thought it would be a nice challenge and a bit of a change up from years of weapons and bits and bobs."

Thea 2
Him trying to comfort her was nice. As he kissed her scar she tried to make her smile more cheerful. However, with her thoughts of not being skillfull and feeling sick she couldn't quite manage it. "I still feel off and waking up sick this morning is not helping."
His mention of his project made her look at it more closely. At least now she didn't try to figure out what kind of weapon it was. "Why not try making locks."

Rydan 3 "Sick this morning hmm? Maybe something we ate? Though if we ate the same thing it should have affected me too." Silver eyes lit up mischeivously. "Are you sure you are not pregnant?" He had gone through a few babies after all. Each one special and unique, some seemingly ghostly until nearly ready to be born. He was partly joking partly wondering if she might be. Now that would be fun. He loved her so much and pregnant Thea was fun to spoil.

Thea 3 She shook her head at the thought of it being something they ate. "I don't think it was that." Indeed, Rydan would be sick as well. So would Siofra for that matter. Not to mention Ari had been the one to cook and if anyone got sick from his food he'd be locked away in his room with full blown depression for days. No, it hadn't been that. His somewhat joking comment about her being pregnant was almost met with a shake of her head but she paused. Normally Theanduri was careful and took herbs to prevent such a thing but with her recent injury and focus on recovering her skills she missed them. "Oh.." She said in response. "Actually.. that might.." She hummed slightly in response. Turning her attention to her husband she offered him a slightly apologetic smile. "You may be right there. Do you have time to take me to the healer?" It wouldn't hurt to check just to be sure.

Rydan 4 "Well, we had said we had wanted more, why not add a little more fire to our fire?" He nuzzled her cheek. "I promise to spoil you even better this time." He tilted to the side and pretended to faint, "I could not resist, I admit, but you are so beautiful," he leered her up and down comedically. He was only ever this silly around her and their kids, it was the family secret that Dad was a nutter and Iexa not far behind. But loveable nuts. Like Pecans. Thea was the whole package and precisely his cup of tea. Plus the scar made her look closer to how dangerous she actually was. Beautiful, deadly, his. <3.

She had to roll her eyes at him, though she did smile at his antics. "Right. Spoil me by taking me to see the healer. Need to make sure its not something else." Thea worried it could simply be a complication of her healing process. While it wasn't likely she still worried about it. Her recovery from the injury to her face was a long one and upon returning home she'd spent every second she could with Rydan or her children that were home. An infection had threatened her before she'd gotten back so she hoped it had not returned.

"You mean my cooking? I made sure it was ...edible this time. I'm trying." He winked. Then he resumed his usually slighly more reserved self and offered her his arm. "To the healer we go, twins for sho." He saw the faint glow now. Magical. Tumultuous. Cantankerous. Ahem. But he loved it all, every phase and he did his best. It would be nice to have the pitter patter of little feet again. It was the silence that he dreaded.

Theanduri shook her head at him again. "Not your cooking. You are getting better." If she could just teach him how to better mix the spices then things wouldn't taste so.. interesting. With his arm offered she took it and moved closer so she could lean on him and rest her head against his shoulder. "More twins? Really? I don't think we need a repeat of Iexa and Lynx." The two had been very troublesome when they were little.

“Maybe not identical twins this time, but like fraternal twins. Could be a boy and a girl even. Oh who knows its just fun to wonder.” He loved the anticipation. That and by now they were pretty much bombproof parents.. literally Zasha had installed bomb armor on the house.
“I do have the food checked for poison just in case.” Her career was interesting like that.
They made their way to the healer.

She grunted at him. "Maybe we'll get two girls this time." It would serve Rydan right to end up with precious little princesses to give him grey hair. She was sure that the boys had given her more than the usual amount of scares with their antics. When they made it to the healer's she politely entered and greeted the old man. "Hello. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me...?"The old man looked at her with a gentle smile before nodding his head. "What can I do for you today?"

"That would be nice." Girls usually bonded with both parents leaning toward the dad for some thing and the mom for others. He had a beautiful daughter who exemplified all the great parts of his love's personality and a bit of the fire from his own. He waited with baited breath for the verdict of the healer it would be nice to have little itty bitty babies to play with when he got home from work. He could afford to take some time off and help Thea if she truly was pregnant. If not he might take the time off anyway maybe they would get pregnant if they loved with abandon for a while. Not that they didn't anyway but she wasn't taking any herbs right now.

Thea spoke with the healer about what she wanted to know he he simply nodded his head. She was directed over to a chair so that he could examine her and she moved over without a fuss. Thea looked at Rydan as the man worked. "Do you think we have time to stop for food on the way home?" She really wanted to get some grilled fish and kale. It sounded good to her at the moment.

"Most definitely, I am rather hungry as well." It had been a good day but it had made him quite hungry. He tried to pretend like he wasn't on pins and needles but he was only partially successful. He loved Thea so god's darned much that he thought every day that his heart would explode from the joy she gave him, combined with that from the rest of their hyperactive family. It was like being in the centre of a wheel with the spokes of their children spinning about them. Actually they were more like small mobile, landbound ( so far), tornados.
