Taking a stroll in the park in either the dark of night or early stages of the morning was beginning to become a normal thing for Nessaela. The cadet had dropped her glamour after realizing that once again it seemed as if she had the entirety of the park to herself. The last time she'd been out here she had been caught in that strange blueish fog that had caused her to feel absolutely wretched for hours afterwards her exit. For now Nessaela was content to drop any pretense that she was nothing short of a normal human being. No one was around to observe her and it just felt more freeing to be who she truly was. For a moment she meandered towards an open section of field that was called a soccer pitch before sitting down on the grass before allowing herself to fall onto her back. Her gaze took in the view of the sky that was afforded to her before she sighed.
Life on this planet was so strange and yet it seemed as if she were adapting to the peculiarities. One had to wonder how much longer they would remain on Earth if the Commodore's true objective could not be realized. What would happen to the Vanguard then?
Closing her eyes to the sight of the stars above Nessaela inhaled deeply of the fresh air that all were welcome to enjoy while on Earth. At times the air quality was not as enjoyable as this night was but it was a vast change from the recycled air one found themselves breathing on Velencya. There was still a whole evening in which she was taking for herself. No school work needed to be done and there was nothing pressing for the Vanguard to do so it was with a relaxed exhale that Nessaela simply lay back to enjoy the freedom to do absolutely nothing.

There were mirrors all over Destiny City, and Remarque had familiarized enough of them that he could get around very well without much thought. He’d dropped his fair share of mirrors around, so that probably helped.
He’d been out gathering a bit of energy tonight; it was the least he could do after spending so much time in Mirrorspace earlier. It wasn’t going to repair itself, anyway.
He was used to Senshi. Used to Knights. Used to Negaverse Agents, even.
He wasn’t used to her.
When the Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi stepped out of a well-hidden mirror, he hadn’t felt an energy signature. He’d seen her when he came out of the bushes, but if he hadn’t been paying attention he might have missed her altogether.
She stood out, even with what he was used to.
“Oh. You’re new.” To him, at least. He tilted his head slightly. “I don’t think we’ve met before.”
He’d heard of abnormal people showing up, that wasn’t so odd in itself.
What they were doing was what he cared about.
He didn’t intend to make a bad impression, so he extended his hand and introduced, “Remarque.”

At first Nessaela ignored the little blip sound from her comtech. Generally speaking the source of whatever powered aura it was detecting wasn't much of a concern to the cadet. Most times whomever was causing the comtech to react would steer clear of the park, although that hadn't always been the case. More often than not though, she was relatively fine with staying where she was. However, there were always exceptions and tonight seemed to be one such exception. The sound from her comtech sounded again and Nessaela was in the process of silencing the alarm when she caught sight of the stranger that was standing not even two feet away from her.
With a hand extended in her field of vision and the words that were coming from the stranger's mouth Nessaela sat up so quickly that she nearly fell back over before making sure that she was relatively balanced. One hand briefly touched her side to check if her dagger was still present before nervously lifting the hand away to brush back a strand of her green hair. It wouldn't do well to make a bad impression by looking like she wanted to attack first and foremost when that wasn't entirely the case.
Realizing that the hand being offered still hung out in the open air did Nessaela rise off her rump in order to get to her feet once more. In doing so she also reached out to gently clasp the hand that Remarque was offering before gently shaking it. Her gaze took in the other's appearance before she sighed, "can't say I've seen you around either so you are just as new to me," a quick upturn of her lips indicated she was gently teasing Remarque before she continued speaking, "I'm Nessaela. I wasn't expecting company though Remarque."

Remarque raised a brow when she nearly stumbled backwards in her haste to get away from him. He stayed still, maybe because he didn’t know what to expect from her, and maybe to give her time to compose herself. He supposed he would seem like less of a threat if he wasn’t moving while she was having herself a panic.
When she took his hand, he shook it firmly, but not tightly enough to hurt or trap her. If she’d wanted to break away, she could have easily.
“Nessaela,” he repeated, and nodded once the name cemented itself in his mind. He seemed unshaken, and fairly easy going. There was an air of confidence about him, but he hadn’t arrived with any ill-intent. “Well, it’s nice to meet you. I apologize for startling you. I only meant to say hello. I won’t interrupt if you’re busy, but I hope you can excuse my curiosity. I’m a bit of a social creature, I like to know what’s going on. You know.” He shrugged. “Make friends.”
