Her skills with her instrument had improved greatly. In fact she'd been playing at a local pub every once in a while and she'd made a little bit of coin from it. Thanks to her brother's mother getting her the little gig. She'd been thankful for that. Now, however, she was trying to work on her singing. Eihari wanted to make it so that she could do more than one form of entertainment. That way no one got bored of her performances.
To work on that she'd come to the beach and was sitting on top of one of the large rocks. She was using the environment to her advantage. Or at least she hoped. As she sang she had to fight the wind. If she heard her voice and it wasn't off key then someone in a loud tavern or in a crowd would hear her just as well. But that also meant that the wind was carrying her voice down the beach a ways to whoever was there to hear it. Not that she cared. As a minstrel in the making she didn't fear others hearing her perform. In fact it might even help her to gain a few more fans willing to come to her shows.

A vaguely familiar sirens song floated up the beach, carried in eddies and swirls on the wind, it made his long ears twitch just a bit. It tickled a memory. He was meditating at the moment but the words twined in and wrapped around his thoughts.
He smiled eyes still closed. "Eihari." Well there went all thoughts of zen and calm. He rose as if drawn by thread and rose.
"It had been some time, he had completed his training and was now a full fledged shadow monk.
He used the shadows to move along the treeline in quick little bursts silently without trace. He wasn't quite able to jump from shadow to shadow, that took a lot more practice but he was getting there.
Soon he walked slowly up the beach to the woman standing pipes blazing on the rock. Calmly he took out his only instrument, a bagpipe and gave her an accompanyment.

When she heard the sound of an instrument, one she wasn't used to singing along to, she half smiled and turned to see who it was that had joined her. Eihari had to admit she was a little surprised to see a familiar face. She continued to sing until the song was done, it would be rude to stop in the middle after all. However, once she was done and the last note rang out, she tilted her head at him. "Hello again." Her right hand came up to wiggle her fingers at him in greeting. "What brings you out today?" Eihari was curious to know if he had some errand he was on or if he had just been casually walking along the beach.

Ugh, she was so adorable, and beautiful. She had a personality that wouldn't quit and had a zest for life that he found fascinating. "I was just out for a walk and your voice lured me over." He kissed the back of her hand gently before straightening up. "How have you been?" He wanted to hear all that had happened. He was sure she had accomplished a lot between their visits. "Your tone and pitch have gotten stronger as well, lots of good practice I see." She had always had an enchanting voice and she was only getting better. He could listen to that for all time and never be bored.

A large smile spread across her face as he kissed her hand. "Well, glad I could be your siren." If her voice is what lured him then that meant it had been pleasing to hear. "I'm glad I've improved. I participated in a few festivals and I've been regularly singing at an Inn." Those had been thanks to her brother's mother. She was very supportive of her path. "Of course I mainly just play my instrument." She didn't have it with her today. Eihari was all about her vocals today.

"I wouldn't mind listening to that either, at a later date, maybe I will come to the Inn and lurk mysteriously in the corner and enjoy some food and ale while I listen to your sweet music." He only liked very good music and hers was consistantly very good. "Maybe one night we could go for a bite to eat when you don't have to sing. I must admit I'm lacking good company currently." He winked at her. She could take it as she would but he would accept a date if she was willing.

"You are more than welcome to come listen to me perform." Eihari liked having people around that appreciated her talents. Plus it made the crowds bigger which made people stop to see what the gathering was for. It was like free advertisement. When he mentioned spending time together she lifted one brow at him. "Oh really?" Eihari chuckled a bit. "I'm not sure I'm good company though."

"I have a sneaky suspicion that you are good company, but I'll keep that in mind.' He smiled. He thought she seemed like a happy extroverted sort. He was a bit introverted but he didn't think that would be too much trouble. Worst came to worst they could just be friends after all he wasn't really going into this with expectations he was just going where the current took him. "I don't have that many friends, just pesky family."

She grinned again and this time leaned back so she could sit on the boulder. She moved her hand to pat the space beside her so that he could join her. "Pesky family huh? They can't be that bad." Since she was living with her brother and his mother currently she couldn't relate to that. Her older brother was the best and his mother was amazing. "You have any siblings?" Eihari was curious now. "I have an older brother."

"For the most part they are not..but some days they are more than a handful, more like a cart full. But it is not everyday so I suppose it is usually not that bad. Downright quiet during hunting and harvest season but thats because they scatter." He settled beside her companionably. "Thanks."
"Oh I have three. Two brothers and a sister. They are the least of the evils, it is the cousins that are a problem."

She gave a chuckle as she listened to him. Hearing about how he had three siblings but it was his cousins that were the trouble caused her to grin. "Sounds exciting. Maybe I can meet your family sometime." It would be interesting. Hopefully they wouldn't mind that she was half Alk. Since he was sitting next to her she leaned over and rested her head against his shoulder. Eihari gave a small hum. "I think it'd be fun to have a large family."

"Absolutely, you might have to visit more than once too meet them all, some go hunting, some go sailing some just up and go on walk about. I am one of them walkabout people, but my jobs are usually requiring more stealth than some of theirs." "It is fun, you always have support, and you are rarely lonely, though finding solitude can be a struggle depending. He grinned, his little sister was the one that could find him, he wondered if she had a tracker in his long ears or something.

Knowing that it would take more than one trip to meet all his family made her lift her brows toward her hairline. That was certainly interesting. It had Eihari wondering just how many members made up Ultear's family altogether. For her it was simply her parents and her older brother and his mother. While the matorian woman was not related to her at all she was still very kind and willing to open her home to the hybrid. "It sounds entertaining." Each of them seemed to like different thing too. "I don't get lonely. My older brother is fairly good about knowing when I need someone to talk to." They were separated by a few years but still close.

"It is highly entertaining, especially once I was able to meld with the shadows and lurk well, only two of my family can see me or sense me when I do that. Kechi and Daanu he was sure had a 6th sense. He wasn't sure why or how and he didn't question it. "They are very fun, I will have to go back more often now that my training is complete." He pulled a shell bracelet from his bag. "Here, I made this, It suits your coloring."

Knowing he would use the shadows to his advantage made her laugh. Of course he'd be sneaky and use it against his family. Eihari would have to see if she could sneak up on her brother and scare him. It might be fun to see. When he pulled a bracelet out of his bag she lifted her head up to look at what he was doing curiously. Being presented with the object caused her to lift her brows in surprise. "Oh really?" The hybrid held her hand out for the bracelet. "Quite the artisan aren't you?"
