Irirangi was in the final steps of kicking off her next big adventure. She had her traveling pack handy, her trip planned out, and was already venturing away from the springs of Noelani toward the reeflands and the sea. It would be soon enough that she would find the merchant ship and set sail to the far away lands of Tendaji. Specifically Belrea. All that was left was a little bit of travel and she would be off.

Of course, her parents were upset she decided to leave so young. Airini was worried for her safety while Apera was lauding all of the adventures she would have. Ngaio wished her the best while Tui cried. Oh had he cried.

But she promised she would be back, with trinkets and items that would be exciting for them all. And with a final wave and a kiss on each cheek, she was off and on to her next big adventure.

Irirangi was finally at a place to rest, somewhere sort of like a crossroads. It was a great place to people watch, as not only did it field traffic from the traveling Kahikinans, but a few Earthlings and Aishans were known to wander through as well.

It was then that she noticed a figure in the distance, a tall lanky sort that was garbed in dark clothing. Curious, she perked up, having not seen an Aishan so close and personally.

When their eyes crossed, Irirangi found herself moving quickly over to the stranger, a wide smile and confidence across her face. She wasn't ashamed with the raw look of interest surely crossing her features, in fact she was a bit smug to have the opportunity to meet this interesting creature she only heard about from her family.

"Hello!" She chirped, smiling what she believed was a friendly one, "Taking a bit of a break?"

Well she was a bit sour, wasn't she? The kahikinan was known to be a bit pushy, but she knew maybe this was a bit too much. Plus this woman was just so tall and seemed like she was shrouded in a shadow.

"Okay..." She said slowly, before settling down on a rock nearby, "Got any stories you might want to share?"

The long silence caused Irirangi to lean back, nodding sagely at the fact that this Aishan was so tight lipped.

"Something amazing must have happened...something secretive?" She leaned forward again as if conspiring with a friend, "I promise I wont tell if you found something...a treasure perhaps?"

Irirangi pouted as she woman moved to stand, and she quickly stood up as well. Tilting her head so her waves moved in a big mass, she took a step back and nodded. She was too aggressive, and this was not the way to get a story from an Aishan.

"That's a shame, but maybe the next time our paths cross..." She finally submitted, smiling a bit smaller.

The smaller girl perked up as the woman turned, before nodding eagerly at the comment. She would make a note and try again, already excited at the opportunity to hear the stories of those she crossed paths with. Waving cheerily in farewell, she herself turned to grab her stuff, realizing she was heading further toward the ocean while this tall woman was moving back toward the swamps.

It was a loss she couldn't learn more, but she did hope she'd find Lumikani again and hear about her adventures. Or maybe she was just being optimistic.
