It was a glorious day! The sun was shining, the birds were now in full morning chorus, everything felt right in the world. She rolled over to see Aki's beautiful face, still at rest in sleep. She smiled and stared at his shear handsomeness for a while before she reached forward to brush the bright pale blue hair from his face. He had the most mesmerizing eyes that went so well with that hair, the eyes were the window to the soul and he had such gorgeous eyes and a soul that matched.
He was sweeter than she, she was pretty sure. She leaned forward and kissed him. Wondering if she was gentle enough that he would keep sleeping so she could keep gently teasing him.

The corner of his eyes crinkled feeling the warmth of the sun, so he knew it was a beautiful day out but was still fast asleep. He stirred a little at the gentle touch of Akea’s hand on his face but not enough to wake him. He rolled over towards her at her touch and his hand came to rest on her hips but he was still fast asleep.

She smiled as her gentle affection brought out the cuddler in him. She adored mornings like this. She hadn't felt alone since they had started dating and she had loved every second together. They were waiting to see if their 'preactice' had born fruit. She didn't feel any different so it might be time to try more. Excellent.
She murrred happily and snuggled closer to him, feeling his breath on her face she closed her eyes again and settled into sleepyness. Best. Morning. Ever.
It was so warm and cozy. She didn't blame him for still sleeping. She wrapped her arms around him.

Just after Akea returned to the sleepy slumber, he opened his eyes to the morning sun that was streaking through her windows. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, he was not one to wake up so late, so waking up late was new to him. He used his free hand and lightly stroked her cheek with a hand. She was the best thing that happened to him and he was looking forward to raising a family with her.
He carefully planted a kiss on her forehead before easing out the bed, he was really hungry all of sudden and wanted something to eat he padded softly against the floor and looked around for his pants and since they were the only ones home at least he hoped they were because he wanted to go shirtless.

Akea 3 She opened her eyes, grinning as he left the view behind him all to her. She rolled over languidly and hopped out of bed. She had so much energy. She padded down the hall in a shirt and shorts. They should be the only ones home. So far that was working for them. Her parents had their portion of the house and she had hers with Aki and the kids had their rooms. She was sure that she and Aki wouldn't stay here forever, it might be nice to build a little place of their own in a place that they both liked. She followed him to the kitchen, sneaking up behind him and wrapping her arms around his waist. She buried her face in his back and inhaled happily. He smelled like home, like safety and like joy.

Aki 3 Once he had found himself in the kitchen he padded around and over to the fridge and opened it to see what he could make for breakfast, instinctively one of his hands went to his stomach. Blinking a bit at the sudden urge to lay a hand on his stomach, he wondered what that was about. He shrugged maybe it was nothing. He continued to look through the fridge, he was feeling like eggs and a fruit salad, he pulled out the ingredients and set them on he counter. Once he had started the prep work he felt arms around his waist and pressure on his back. He looked back at Akea who had buried her face into him. He smiled and lightly stroked her arms before turning so he was facing her “good morning, my love? How did you sleep?” He asked her.

"I slept really well." She eyed what he wanted for breakfast..it wasn't that odd of a breakfast but it wasn't his usual either. Hmm. "Do you have a stomach ache?" She asked because of the arm he had placed on his stomach. "Or are you just that ravenous that you have to sooth the savage beast?"
She giggled. His tummy was rather ferociuos after all. He was always hungry it seemed. She liked to snack on small things quite a few times a day. He never seemed to pack on any weight though. Of course they were quite active.

He looked at his breakfast ingredients, which was something he normally didn’t eat, it usually just like a shake or something. He looked at her thoughtfully noticing her observation. “I don’t Think so, I just had craving if you want to call it that for eggs and a fruit salad” he mentioned to her. Instinctively, he stepped back from the edge of counter, worried he might injure himself. Once, again that was out of character for him too.
“I’m just suddenly more hungry then usual” he told her, he was confused about what was going on with his body, all of a sudden he had a protective instinct over his stomach. He shook his head to focus back on his breakfast. He cracked an egg in the pan waiting for it to start cooking, while he waited he started to slice up the fruit for his fruit salad.

She tilted her head in curiosity. Something was off, not a bad off, just ...different. Maybe he was getting ill and craved healthier food.
She ate her regular eggs and rice and watched him. It was her favorite passtime. He was so graceful and tall. Except he was protecting his stomach somehow.
"I feel like something..is off. Are you sure you are feeling okay?' She asked with concern now.
"Here have some broth too. Just in case."

He stepped back from the stovetop just in case the sizzling and spitting of oil from his cooking his eggs landed on him. He flipped his egg and put his sliced-up fruits into a bowl and put it to the side, and pushed it a bit further away from the stovetop. He waited a few more seconds, turned off the stovetop, put it to the side, grabbed a plate, and moved his eggs onto it. He then set his plated eggs by his bowl of fruit and turned to grab a glass and poured some milk into his glass.
He blinked at her offer of broth and set it with his bowl of fruit, plated eggs and a glass of milk. He pushed them to the empty seat beside her, walked around the counter, and sat down. He paused once he sat down, once again he was confused, this was not his usual morning routine. He looked at her "umm...I think so" he said unsure of himself when she asked him if he was sure he was feeling okay. He pushed his seat back a bit, once again to avoid his stomach pushing against the edge of the counter.

"Hmmm. Do you think...just maybe that... something might have come from our pairing after all?" She looked at him with something like awe and consternation. "But in a twist of fate, it is you that got pregnant?"
"Unlikely but it is possible isn't it?' She fluttered her eyelashes at him flirtaceously. She was joking..kinda.
"It really is not like you. You are even moving different.'

He was about to pick up his fork before the subtle hints of realization was starting to hit him, he looked at her wide-eyed "You...don't...think.." he said trailing off and then tapping his chin with his fork, he dropped his fork when the full realization hit him. "I think you might be right...my love" he replied his surprised reaction changing into all sorts of emotions and ending with pure joy.
"I mean...our species isn't necessarily the type to have gender differences, so it could be quite possible, that I am the one pregnant with them and not you," he told her. He took both of her hands in his "I think...something did come from our practicing" he said before releasing one her hands and placing it on his belly.
He shook his head "none of it, was my regular morning routine" he told her before smiling at her and then lightly using his other hand to cup her cheek and stroke it with a finger before planting a kiss on her lips.

Her bicolored eyes widened at his words. He hadnt laughed and moved along, it was actually possible if not probable at this point. She squealed a bit and then paused and started to giggle. “Sorry? Kinda? Maybe I can carry our next ones?” She couldnt hold in the laughter any more.
“In all seriousness Im very proud of you, prepare to be very spoiled my love.”

Akiliano chuckled lightly and picked up his fork to dig into his breakfast he had prepared for himself. “It’s okay, it will just be a new experience for me” he told chuckling again and putting a couple of pieces of his fruit salad in his mouth and chewing thoughtfully.
“I’m glad to have the privilege to carry them” he told her and looked at her “is that so? I look forward to it” he told her.

She grinned at him. He was simply the best guy. He was super sweet and very comfortable in his manliness. She found this extremely attractive. How did she get so lucky to fall in love with her best friend and for having him as a best friend to begin with. He could have happened upon anyone on that beach all those years ago and he had found her.
She leaned forward and kissed him. The. settled in to eat. They were going to be parents! She was so excited. “I wonder how long you have been, wonder when they are due.”
