It's kind of a date story, but not really. When we got married, my husband used all his leave for the wedding and rehearsal dinner and had to return to base the day after the wedding, so we couldn't go on a honeymoon. I said that in recompense he owed me an annual honeymoon every year of our marriage, which we did for 30 years until the pandemic got in the way.
