When Yunan had originally returned to Oba to expand upon his pharmaceutical business, the hybrid had never intended to go into any shady potion stores in a back alley of Jatine. Yet here he was standing beneath the awning of a place, his hood lowered to avoid being recognized as he waited for a moment before going inside. While he knew his companions were nearby the man had made certain they all arrived at different times to this place. It was a shame that he couldn’t concoct some sort of sleeping potion or the like at his own warehouse since the ingredients could be traced back to his stores…that truly would have saved so much time, but at least it wasn’t as if many came to such a place like this. The store itself was tidy, just dimly lit to help customers avoid notice as they browsed the countless shelves of strange brews saved for those daring or desperate enough to try. Yunan didn’t even bother greeting the Oban shopkeeper who pointedly looked away, tidying the counter while allowing those who didn’t want to socialize their space to shop. Thankfully the hybrid was accustomed to strange brews and could pinpoint the ingredients that would work best for upcoming plans. Sleeping draughts would be best with valerian… He mused as he picked up a potion, twisting the bottle left and right in his hands before deciding upon it.
Now based upon the time it would not be surprising to hear the door behind him open once more. Surely it was time for the other two or at least one of them to enter now that Yunan had been wandering the shelves for at least five minutes, the man studying potions quietly and slowly without even flinching from nerves as a giggling couple passed through with some rather spicy brews to experiment with. Instead all the couple earned as an eyeroll from Yunan who didn't even want to consider what plan they were preparing in comparison to his own plot against some corrupted nobles. If anything that one bottle seemed to be colored like something akin to dye and it wouldn't surprise him if they came back screaming because one of the Obans turned blue or green afterwards.

Nyko may have been raised in the background of the public eye, but he certainly hadn't thrived in it. As a rule the man usually didn't travel without at least two cases of clothing which made this little jaunt to Jatine all the more depressing. A bland headscarf covered his features and even the top he wore, tight fitting as it was, covered most his defining features. What bits of his tattoo that were exposed had been handled with a fingerless glove which left him feeling...well, honestly he looked like a moody teenager. In passing he wondered if this was what Yunan might have worn in his younger years.
Casually striding up to the building, Nyko opened the door and made his way inside. There were a few hooded figures, but without knowing if any of them were the ones he was looking for the Matorian started to browse instead. And found...wait, was that hair dye? Having dyed his hair regularly before, Nyko lifted the vial to get a look at it. I wonder how much it lifts? And if it would dry my hair out...

Sporting her usual neutral garb for when she went out, Aari blended right into the background as she walked to the shop Yunan had described. She remembered hearing about the shop before, but had never gone to it herself. Any potions she had made use of were ones that her associates already owned and were willing to share.
She didn't bother looking toward the shopkeeper when she entered, if he even noticed her slip in. She walked slowly through one aisle, using it to look through the shelves to the aisle on the opposite side for her companions. Luckily, she managed to find Yunan fairly quickly. "I didn't realize this shop was so big in here," she said lightly to get his attention.

"Most expect the backstreets of Oba to be crammed, but honestly the stores in this area are bigger than some of the shops in the upper streets." Replied Yunan quietly, the hybrid calm and collected even as Aaricia appeared next to him. Placing a pale yellow potion back on the shelf, the man turned slightly to look at his companion before nodding. "See anything that you fancy?" A casual question one that didn't seem to be anything other than typical conversation while he surveyed the area around her to see if he could spot Nyko amongst the rows of shelves and bottles.
There was someone of familiar height just across the aisle and recognizing a bottle of dye Yunan could only assume. "I saw someone try that vivid dye before and it burned a hole in their hair so they went bald." He warned with a slight shrug before turning back towards Aaricia and holding up a deep blue and purple potion with flecks of something floating inside. "This is good for anyone need help with sleep. I hear it does wonders."

Annndddd with that tidbit of information Nyko primly sat the potion back onto the shelf and moved away to look at other things. As tempting as it was to have a new look from one simple drink he had no desire to go bald. A few of these were so strange, though, and written in languages that Nyko didn't understand...
Instead of touching anything else, he maneuvered over toward Yunan and Aaricia. "Are you sure that can help with sleep? If someone got the ingredients wrong then it would be, y'know...permanent sleep."

Aari shook her head lightly. "I think I need to look around a bit more." She smiled with amusement the way Nyko put the dye back onto the shelf, but it also made her give the other bottles a doubtful look. Was anything else in there doomed to have such disasterous side effects as the dye? The bottle Yunan held up did give off the air of a sleeping potion.. but then Nyko made a point as well. "It is tempting, but I have never liked the idea of taking something to make me sleep. I need to know I will be able to wake up easily if I need to. I believe I will keep up with my chamomile teas instead."

While the reaction to his advice concerning was observed with amusement, Yunan kept his composure as he listened to the statements about the sleeping drought. "Chamomile would be recommend for you." He admitted with a nod towards Aaricia. "But I recognize the medical properties of this one that can really someone sleep through a lot of things. I would rather avoid getting something for a permanent sleep, that would complicate a lot of business deals, but this one should be perfectly fine for anyone who needs to sleep through noisy situations." The hybrid mused quietly, holding onto the potion since he planned on purchasing it here at this little shop. Other than that he simply glanced through the shelves, his gaze thoughtful. There was a climbing drought, not really necessary since he doubted they would be doing a heist anytime soon, and even some color changing and other playful potions that he didn't even know would be actually effective or not.
"Have either of you browsed through potions before?" Yunan quirked a brow as he looked between the two, waiting a moment before casually moving along the shelves to keep from looking like he was simply standing around conversing with the others. Not like it seemed to matter, most kept to themselves in this places since the customers here often did not want to be noticed and respected others in return. As it was, Yunan had some herbal knowledge and the like so he was curious to see how much experience the others had.

Nyko looked between the two with squinted brows. He knew what they were here for, he also knew they were trying not to be tracked, but gods a lot of this was giving him brain static. How as chamomile tea supposed to kill a man? Or were they just trying to get him to nap at this point? It was all a cover, trying to....to...Oh screw it.
"Are there any here that can help with a headache?"
"Well yesssss there are." Nyko nearly jumped out of his skin as a gaunt Oban woman apparated next to him. Her flesh was pulled so tight across her bones that Nyko could have sworn she was a walking corpse. "If you inhale lavender oil it will help. Come-", Her gnarled hand slowly wrapped around his own and she started tugging him to the other side of the shop, "-follow meeeee."
As he walked away Nyko looked over his shoulder and mouthed 'help' over and over.

Aari hummed thoughtfully before she gave a light nod. Obviously that potion would be useful for using during the mission; just not on themselves. She was going to have to readjust her thinking in order to make the best of this particular outing. She picked up one that said it could make someone feel numb through their whole body. Interesting... "Not in a shop like this, I have not. Health potions and the like, but I had no idea there were so many options."
The additional voice made her entire body tense with surprise, and her hand instinctively snapped to her hip where a dagger was concealed. Thankfully, she caught herself before she could pull it free and let out a slow breath. Seeing Nyko's pleading expression though, she was torned between amusement and concern and headed after the pair. "As a matter of fact, I have a few headaches of my own that I would like to dispel."

Well, that took an interesting turn. Yunan blinked and was almost tempted to just let Nyko deal with the amusing situation on his own before Aaricia decided to step in. The hybrid let out a soft sigh even though there was a hint of a smile on his lips as he picked up a couple of more potions, one of sleep and another to create smoke whenever the bottle shattered. "I have a cure for certain types of headaches but it may not be the cleanest solution." He mused quietly before trailing behind the others while checking out the potions along the way. His sword was at his side, but he didn't bother to grab it since he deemed the older woman harmless. Why harm those paying coin for some potions? If anything the harm would come from purchasing something unknown without researching it first.
"Lavender oil is good. Do you have something with sandalwood and rose? That'll also help with stress and anxiety, some of the biggest culprits behind headaches." Stated Yunan as he started to notice the smaller vials as they walked along. It looked like these were actually just essential oils and the like, not the strange brews that they had first been browsing.

No that...just...no, why was Aaricia still talking in tongues but now she was following them? Take my hand, get my hand AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN- Spirits her fingers were like claws and they had the boney strength of the elderly! "I was lying, I don't have a headache anymore, I'm fine, really-"
"Oh shuuuush dear-" She gave his arm a long, slow pat. "What was that?" Her head creaked around to look at Yunan and when she smiled there was one singular, snaggled tooth in the front. "Sandalwood and rose oil? Oh, I'm sure I have some in the back...Very popular these days...You young folk and your stressssssss-"
The more they walked the more she leaned onto him like a cane and normally he wouldn't have minded. Honest. Helping an older woman wasn't the worst thing, but when it was the walking dead-
"You three stay right here by the counter. I'll go look for the oils." She blessedly released Nyko, then reached out to pat Aaricia as she went by and hummed a little to herself as she shuffled to the back. "Sandalwood and rose....Should be in the blue box I think...or was it the reeeedddddd-?"

Aari's expression remained calmly interested for the most part, but even she couldn't completely mask the amusement she felt right then. "Hmm, I do like the scent of lavender." Could she possibly turn out like that woman when she was older; all bones and sharp angles? It was probably just fun to freak out the youth around her.
She looked at where her arm was patted and felt a chill. ..Just because it was amusing didn't mean it wasn't still creepy. She took a couple steps toward Nyko as the older woman walked away. "Did the scary lady hurt you?" Though her tone was playful, there was still a serious underlayer to her question. After all, villainy had no age limit...

"Hmm." Yunan mused as he walked past Nyko and Aaricia, a hint of an amused smirk crossing his features. "I've dealt with worse, but you should probably hurry if you don't want an attachment," He teased lightly. "I can keep requesting oils that will be in the back, it'll take her a bit to figure out which box is which." Despite seeming like someone who was bound for the grave at any second or even someone who had just emerged from their tomb, Yunan was not too bothered by the skeletal woman. It did help that he wasn't the one who had been touched by the older woman, but either way he was determined to keep his composure especially when the other two appeared disturbed.
Reaching up, Yunan tugged another potion from the shelves. "Invisibility? That could be interesting." Of course he would have to test the potion out somehow beforehand, but he was more than willing to give some coin to try it out. "Also, I can make some dye if you truly want colored hair. It's not hard to make since we have the ingredients in storage." Making hair dye out of his inventory was one thing, making potions that seemed suspicious before going into an undercover operation was a bit more of a stretch should someone examine his records.

Nyko reached over and pinched Aaricia's arm. "Like you were any help," He tried keeping his voice low, but Nyko wasn't much for subtleties. Still, he couldn't keep a smile off his face and the Matorian let out a breath he'd been hanging onto. Raising his hands, he mimicked two scary claws that were coming after Aari only to have Yunan walk past. So, he just changed routes and tapped his scary claws on Yunan's back. "Now it's yooouuurrr turn," Nyko 'whispered'.
The comment about hair dye did get him thinking. "Maybe? I haven't dyed my hair in a long time. Gilly told me it was a distraction away from my face when I was on stage, but she's not here..." That still didn't make it a good idea...Nyko turned from Yunan to Aaricia. "What do you think? You've seen me with dyed hair and without. Which looked better?"

Aari let out a squeak and rubbed at her arm with a rueful smirk. "Old ladies only react to seeing fear. If I'd have grabbed you, it would have just made things worse." She found herself giggling at Nyko's antics and shook her head. "You're not quite the same."
She cocked her head as she looked more intently at Nyko's features.. and without the years of controlling her emotions, she might have blushed. "I think it would be difficult to distract that much from your face with just color. As long as you're not wearing it in some wild style, I think either way looks nice."
