The time she had spent on the mainland caused her to have many ideas floating around in her head. She had picked up one of the crossbows that had been sold there and brought it back to Belrea. Now she had just about taken it apart, well the second one that she had purchased. She had brought home two, one for practice and the other to take apart and study. She wondered if she couldn't make it that auto load bolts on its own for a short time. Frowning slightly at a blueprint that she had started.

"Hmmmm..." She pondered as she scrawled something else onto the paper. "Don't think that will work how I would like it to." Frowning a little deeper she slid the sheet away before starting all over again.

Limbree stretched at her work bench, the door to her small area was open to admit a breeze. The small room had little in a way of a window, really it didn't have one at all. She leaned back a little before casting a glance over her shoulder towards those that wandered outside. It was a nice day after all and she was planted here to figure out a design before it drove her crazy.

Limbree had been so enthralled with her work that she hadn't heard
someone approaching from behind. Then again it was kinda her fault for leaving her door open. Shoulders hunching a little she turned and looked towards the hybrid that happened to appear outside her door. A Herand? That name didn't ring any bells to her.

"Hmmmm..." She pondered scratching at her head a little with the end of her pencil. "That name doesn't ring much of a bell."

She glanced at the hybrid that seemed to be hefting quite the heavy bag. She could only guess what had happened to whatever was inside it. Swinging herself around, Limbree slid from her seat. The half done blueprints still laying upon her work table. Even the half assembled crossbow laid in pieces on another side of the table.

"But I am sure I can try and help you find this person? If it is an emergency." Limbree offered as she approached the door, not really hiding what she was working on.

"Hmm?" Limbree looked from the girl before her to back at what she had been working on. "Oh this? Picked it up when we first made land in Tendaji, well rather crash landed there." She chuckled slightly. "I became fascinated with it, but the thought of having to reload it after every shot seemed old fashioned."

LImbree reached over and picked up another crossbow, this one still in once piece. The fine wood timbered and tempered to take the pull of the fine string to a notch and hold it. There were of course no bolts loaded into the bow, that would have been just silly, nor was the string pulled to rest. But the soft colored brown wood was shined to a gloss and looked much like a decorative piece then something used out in the field.

"I had in mind to find a way to make something so the bow can hold more then one bolt at a time. Then when the bunch were fired, you could reload another bunch onto it and keep going. Save time from having to take cover or something to reload. But it is a work in progress. As you can see. She swept a hand around at all the parts and bits scattered about. "But first things first, shall we find this person you are looking for? I can step away from this. Feel like I am going cross eyed staring at this thing too much." Limbree grinned, she did need a little break, she had been working at it for a solid day and a half without a break.
