The cityscape twinkled brightly below as she sat on the edge of one of the taller building's roof. The thing that brightly coloured senshi had said made her question a lot of things. She had kinda been thrown into all this pretty fast while in college. The whole magic thing, the long hair, and draining people of stuff that she pretty sure was their life force. It had never really been explained all the way to her in the beginning with everything going on. She also had never really spoken with another magic user like herself, only the agents who had weapons and stuff. Things were certainly different between those part of the Negaverse but she hadn't had much explanation. Even though she still lazily flowed through her duties, she really wondered what it was all for in the end. She turned in that energy but never really knew what it was used for in the end. Maybe she would be told more as she grew stronger and rose in ranks.

The self-doubt wasn't a thing she was used to so she shook her head to try and shake the thoughts away. That was the old way of things, she wasn't like that anymore since she got into Destiny City University. Even if there wasn't an explanation, the magic she had was real and was really freaking cool in her opinion. The fog and creature that lurked within reminded her of many Rock or Metal shows she had attended in the past with her father. It had been a long time since she had gone due to classes and her juggling doing the bare minimum to still keep her grades up high. It would be beyond a pain in the a** if her grades fell and they tried to get her to do remedial work. She wanted to do less work and not more.

The negaverse duties would be something she would improve on in time and experience would be something she would have to cultivate on her own for now until she met more people with the same weird magic ash she had. That brightly coloured girl hadn't hinted at what she did but it made Bea wonder how one decided to join one side or the other. Was it fate? Or just happenstance that they were on opposite sides of things. It would be something else she would want to look into. Did that girl's side have more or fewer duties to do? All this effort to figure things out was exhausting her even more than her work did. The only thing she knew is that she would in fact meet that girl, again and again, to find out what she could while keeping things chill. In the end, she hoped the constant persistence to sell the negaverse side as the better option would turn out. She really wanted to know if that bright girls colours would dim with the transition, that would be satisfying to see in the end at least.
