Yarrick comes from a big... and I mean BIG family. It’s easy to feel overshadowed. So rather than fight for the spotlight, she shrinks down and hides herself so the others can shine.

Yarrick is always cautious about what she says and what she does. She wouldn’t want to step out of her own boundaries, nor would she want to accidentally hurt someone. Yarrick likes to have all the pieces so she can make the “objectively best decision”

Things in life have a natural order. Yarrick likes to follow that very same order. If ever she gets stuck, she’ll try to research the next steps to take, often delaying her own decisions.

Despite hiding herself in the shadows, Yarrick has a voice. She is worried others might not like her voice, or anything else that comes from her. She often allows others to be a voice piece for her, most especially her twin brother.

Every question has an answer, and every answer must be questioned. She’s always liked to research things, especially if it follows a logical step from her other studies... or if it sounded interesting... whichever.

Despite her love of cold, hard logic, it can become incredibly difficult to decide between her brain and her heart. Even decisions she knows to be correct are sometimes impossible for her to make if it’s attached to big emotions.

Yarrick was born alongside her (slightly) older twin, Yak. They were the second and third kids born to Kandace Knapp, only a couple years behind their older brother, Zack. Though they didn't know the identity of their dad, they were happy to have each other. As they got a little older, Yak stepped into a more outgoing role, allowing Yarrick to fall back to the shadows. While he was their mouthpiece, Yarrick preferred to be a sort of man-on-the-inside, providing guidance and research for them both. Then again, Yak became able to make snap decisions, while Yarrick felt bound to her research.

It all came to a moment of panic when Yarrick, and only Yarrick, received a Hogwarts letter. The twins knew they would have no choice but to separate unless Yarrick could figure out a solution.

When she traveled to Hogwarts, she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She was still very distraught that Yak couldn't come to Hogwarts and even offered to change places with him. During the school year, she joined the drama club despite a fear of being on stage. She was happy to work behind the scenes. Second year she tried out for the Quidditch team and made the main team as a beater, despite being slightly afraid of the position. Third year she once again tried out for and made the main Quidditch team. That year the Ravenclaws won and Yarrick helped with some great hits. During the club carnival that year, her older brother Zack set off a bunch of fireworks and almost got himself expelled. Starting off fourth year, she joined the newly formed chess club. Her brother Zack, and her cousins Flick and Erikk, all transferred to Salem in America, but she was joined by her sister Xenobiolgick. She once again joined the Quidditch team and also became the captain of the Drama Club, much to her chagrin.
