Hati... usually didn't admit such things to himself, but he was nervous. He hadn't visited his moon— ever—and the nerves about doing so ate him up about it. He had jitters! Jitters!!! He just felt like... he'd been letting the planet itself down for so long by never visiting, but it had never felt like the right time to do so, and then the longer it went on, the more guilt he felt for never visiting, and the harder it became to try to visit. Which was why now he was going to visit with Asmodeus at his side. At least having one of his people-rocks there would help. She'd be able to be there for him in case something went sideways for one reason or another. Taking a deep breath, he smiled faintly at Asmo and squeezed her hand, taking them both to the moon of Saturn that was his and his alone to guard. His first thought was it is ******** FREEZING here. He opened his eyes (when, exactly, had they closed?) and inhaled sharply, suddenly feeling... Wow. "Did you feel connected when you first went to Asmodeus?" he asked quietly, looking out over the moors and feeling... like he was home.

Hati had come with Asmodeus for her first trip to her planet. It seemed only right, then, that she would get to go with him to his. It was the sort of thing that was easy to put off and also very easy to just...do, and if she could provide a little extra encouragement to just do it, then that was what she wanted to do.
So she held his hand, and waited, and let herself be swept away.
Hati, it seemed, was nothing like her own world, and she shivered a little at the wind rushing over the moors that stressed out before them.
But his question made her smile, and nod.
"Yeah. Like...like I was finally coming home."

"Exactly," he breathed, staring out over the nearby sea now. He tasted the salt on the air and couldn't help a small smile. So this was his home. He already loved it. Bone-deep, like it would always be a part of him to love it. Though he hoped he'd never lose any of his love for Earth, just because this life was the only one to have been born on another planet entirely. "There should be some buildings out there somewhere," he said, turning back to the moors. Avoid the caves. Long forgotten instinct rose up in him and he listened to it. After all, there had to be a reason the Cu-Sidhe was both a danger... and revered. And he wanted to know. Even if nothing was here right now, better safe than sorry. Picking a direction away from the rockier terrain and sea, he strode forward.

Asmodeus cast her gaze out to the ocean that roared against the rocks behind them, for a long moment. There was nothing like that on her world--or at least, not that she'd found. There had to be reservoirs somewhere, and places to collect whatever fuel source powered the machines she'd found in more and more abundance on every visit, but she hadn't seen them yet.
Perhaps she'd find her way there eventually. Here, though, it seemed that the ocean was right on their heels.
She turned back at Hati's comment, and nodded.
"Alright, let's go exploring. Lead the way," she said, and she fell in beside him, taking in the views around them. Really, this place was so vastly different than her world....ah, she couldn't wait to see more of it.

Hati walked with a spring in his step, now far more excited than nervous. Some part of him desired to give Asmodeus a piggy back ride, but he quashed that thought quickly, thinking it was probably at least a little weird. it was only a few minutes of walking before buildings started to appear on the horizon, on what appeared to be more stable ground. And then a few minutes more and they were right on top what... had clearly once been a grand town, with a castle in the distance. "Geez, it looks like the Renaissance Faire in here," he joked.

Asmodeus took in the area around them as they walked, and inhaled the scent of the breeze over the moors, and felt ti tug at her hair in its neatly twisted buns. This palce...she could imagine spending a lot of time here. It didn't feel as viscerally home to her as her own world did, but it wasn't hard to imagine that her past self--the beautiful, tiefling-like woman with her wry smiles and clever words--might have spent a lot of time here.
Asmodeus couldn't help but imagine following in her footsteps.
Whent hey came upon the town, she hummed, glancing over Hati and letting her eyes flit up and down.
"I think it fits," she said, and she strode forward. "I wonder what's left here? Artifacts and such, you know?" She paused, thoughtfully, eyes drifting to the most prominent building there. "...Do you think that castle used to be yours?"

"Yeah," he said, staring up at it. He swallowed. "I don't think I should go into it yet," he said, much more quietly. "I want to, but... I don't know, it feels too... Like it's too much to try that, right away. Like if I do..." He didn't know how to explain what he was feeling. But at least he'd come here at all. He felt like he could come back alone next time, see what was in the castle that felt so foreboding right away.

Asmodeus hummed, and gave a brief nod. "That....yeah, then let's stay away from it for now."
Better not to go places that felt strange. Probably better to leave some of the ghosts of these silent, dead worlds alone, at least on a first visit.
A wry smile crossed her face.
"You know, we're alone here, and it's so quiet....do you think it would be....I don't know, disrespectful? If we...hm, took advantage of the solitude?"
Sue her, Hati was big and beefy and she was only human. Maybe they could round out this visit with a little fun for both of them. Plus, it would warm them up from the chill of the moors.

Hati looked at her, amused, but his own sly grin spread on his face. "Guaranteed solitude sounds pretty good for some things to me," he agreed, pulling her in for a kiss. Most of the town seemed intact, so it wouldn't be too hard to find a nice spot to rest in.
